Luckily, I then sought two independent opinions: both confirmed my gums are healthy. Based on this experience, the dentist is either grossly incompetent or fraudulently misdiagnosing to sell unnecessary procedures. Reading previous comments on Yelp and Google, it seems others were similarly misdiagnosed. Such conduct is disgusting and should result in the loss of a dental license. Avoid this practice and get a second opinion before agreeing to anything. By far the worst experience I have had at a dentist.

She took some X-rays to make sure the tooth was OK before referring me to an endodontist that I had seen before. We talked about another tooth I had cracked (but, ignored). She glued my crown back on, and I returned two days later for a much needed cleaning. I don't know why I waited so long. Time just escaped me. I'll miss Dr. Barnett, but l am happy he trusted the care of his patients to Dr. Weber's care.

Knowing that I had this fear, nit only did Dr. Baer treat me with compassion & kindness, I also received that special consideration with my hygienist, Kelsey. She offered to use topical numbing cream before my cleanings which actually helped me relax from that worry of any twinges if pain. Eventually we tried without, so she truly made me feel comfortable to try without & I survived. Ive had a few fillings done and as difficult as it is to go through, everyone there made me feel comfortable. The last couple years I was switched over to Dr. Brown and I absolutely LOVE her! She is SO pleasant, genuinely caring and interested in YOU not only as a patient, but as a person. The office is clean, pleasant atmosphere and if you are looking for a natural holistic approach, this is for you. Yes, they are PRICEY! Insurance does help but recently policy changed, so you have to pay upfront, they will file your claim and you'll have to await any reimbursement from your insurance. What is most frustrating is that this policy was never disclosed before treatment. Had I been informed in advance that I would be expected to pay out of pocket despite having insurance, I would have declined the services and sought care elsewhere. Patients deserve complete transparency regarding financial policies before any work is performed. Springing unexpected payment demands on patients after treatment is unacceptable and undermines trust in the provider. Being upfront about costs is a basic expectation of any professional medical practice. The lack of transparency left me feeling misled and frustrated. Regardless of the quality of the medical care, billing practices like this are enough to make me never return or recommend this office to anyone. Patients should know exactly what their financial responsibility will be before consenting to treatment--not after the fact.

The facility is very clean and I've personally witnessed the staff wipe down all equipment prior to and after each patient visit. There's a nice stream of background music they play as well which is nice. There's a private lot in the back for convenient parking and street parking out in front. Not only did he save me thousands, the surgery I was being told I needed would've permanently altered my gum line. Years later, I'm still doing fine thanks to Dr. Barnett's great care. On top of this, Dr. Barnett has a top notch staff. Specifically, his receptionist Jenny, is a world-class employee. Very responsive, nice, and provides personal attention. Dentists, like lawyers, tend not to get a great reputation. But Dr. Barnett is an all-start and I highly recommend.
