We have driven past this restuarant a few times, and we were always curious. We ordered take out/delivery, as if there's any other choice nowadays. The delivery was quick. The delivery driver was friendly as well. When we recieved the order, it was still extremely warm. Which sometimes does NOT happen when getting delivery. We ordered the thin crust and the pan pizza. Both were good. I preferred the pan pizza. I would like to see this business on more delivery apps. I'd always prefer to use an app, over making a phone call. With the demands of life, it's just easier.

Steak sandwich with the most tender ribeye I've ever had.

Interesting place... The interior won't win any beauty contests. There is lots of 70's era wood paneling. The layout is very choppy, in a claustrophobic kinda way. And the decor is a hodge-podge (albeit mostly sports themed). As I'm typing this, some old timer (I think he's the owner) is playing the bongos along with the juke box which is blasting out Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4". Earlier, a couple of guys questioned why Family Feud was on the tv's. The bartender blamed his sister, and promptly turned on sports. Oh shit, "25 or 6 to 4" just ended, and its playing again! Ha! Same dude that questioned Family Feud just said: "I'm pretty sure we just heard this song." The bartender yelled at him (jokingly of course), and put on "Saturday in the Park". Now playing: "Does Anyone Really Know What Time it is?" Three straight Chicago songs. I repeat: Interesting place... On to the food: My meal was excellent. I had the steak sandwich and a side salad. The steak sandwich consisted of a ribeye, with grilled onions and cheese on a soft bun. It was the most tender ribeye I've ever had! Service was entertaining, yet good. Today was my first visit, but it won't be my last.

Coming out of pandemic closure, the dining area is now just a few tables and 2 booths. Most of the space is now taken up by slot machines and an ATM-like machine. The menu is the same as it has been for a few years, and some items stand out. The Hamburger Steak Milano is wonderful. Get it with the soup side, as the salad is a throw-away of watery lettuce. Burgers are fine, Chicken Parm is another good entrée. Service is casual and fits the décor.

Dont get me wrong- it has GREAT meat/bun flavor to it- just too many little things that went wrong…read moreduring my visit (not staff fault! They were great and friendly and I did not mention or complain about the lack of customizations to them nor did I complain about the onions- i did not say a word when trying to figure out kikosk (or tablet whatever you call it) Kikosk ordering at the counter- It would not allow me to add sauce on side. There was no description of what it was so was confusing when ordered at first. The menu/kikosk doesnt say what kind of sauce- drives me crazy when there is no clear definition for people who are picky or cant have certain items in their food. My shake did not come with whipped cream unlike pictures or social media feeds. Fountain drink was flat to my disappointment so got refunded for that only and went with water. Clean taste. Burger has great potential but if they are not allowing us to customize it to our own preference it will fail in this location. Lack of toppings to my dismay- When I got my burger with the sauce cheese and grilled onions, it looked good at first glance. When I bit into the grilled onions it was not tender/soft it was like eating stringy rope with the burger yanking it out with my teeth . Sauce wasnt memoriable for me. Still have no idea what it consisted of even few days later. Again Bun/meat was delish driving me on eating the burger. Fries were ok- nothing to write home about. Not coming back though until they improve on some areas. This is too expensive for the mistakes/lack of customization/options for a picky person like me. If it was signifcantly less in cost I would have let it slide and bring home plain burgers and customize it at home. But this was a HUGE bucket list for me being open minded about what went on my burger (I usually ask for plain with certain toppings only) Best of luck to this establishment!

From going to corporate events and hanging out with friends, I've gone to Yard House a good amount…read moreand always enjoyed the food, but never found it to be super special. My food experience at this location was a bit better than other locations I've tried and makes me excited to come back to try more items. Like other locations, there is plenty of parking and interior resembles a more upscale sports bar. Service is relatively quick despite how busy they are and prices are pretty fair for the quality of food. I started my meal off with Poke Nachos, one of four that I've had in the last few months and this was possibly the best of the bunch. This had a good amount of raw ahi tuna (though a few more chunks would be nice) and added some additional flavors through nori and sesame seeds so that it was a bit less sauce dependent than other versions I've tried. The wontons were super crispy and avocado was nice and creamy. The mix of serranos, white truffle sauce, sweet soy ginger sauce, sriracha aioli, cilantro, and green onions all mixed together to create a great flavor. I was very impressed with the amount of flavor packed into a dish that's only 880 calories. The crispy traditional wings were also cooked nicely, the skin was nice and crispy while the meat was not overcooked. The buffalo sauce was a bit light for me, though good if you aren't looking for something that's too tangy or spicy. The Korean chili garlic had the right level of sweetness mixed with a good amount of garlic flavor and a light level of spiciness. This is one of the better preparations I've had outside of Korean Fried Chicken specialist restaurants. For entrees the Ahi Tuna Crunchy salad is one of the better versions of this dish that I've had as well. The field greens, broccoli slaw, and crispy wontons were a nice base with the soy vinaigrette -- but the star of the dish was the seared rare and blackened ahi tuna. Super flavorful and prepared just right, this was better than the steak I had eaten for lunch and again a very healthy way to pack a lot of flavor into a low number of calories. On the flipside, the kurobata pork sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've had so far this year. The berkshire pork isn't super fatty, but just enough to have a great level of tenderness and flavor when grilled. The candied bacon, white american cheese, and house-made blueberry ketchup did a fantastic job of adding some saltiness and just a bit of extra fat (without seeming excessive) and giving the dish just a little acid. The total combination worked perfectly in harmony and is worth making a special trip to eat again. I ended the meal with the S'more brownie meltdown. This was done well -- with a nice fudge brownie that had great chocolate flavor and matched perfectly with the graham cracker toffee. This would've been the highlight of the dish, had it not been for the delicious combination of the marshmallow gelato and dark chocolate sauce. I'm not a giant fan of marshmallows, but this gelato was amazing and tied everything together perfectly. Overall, an unexpectedly great experience from a restaurant chain that I've gone to many times. Without a doubt, I know which location to take my friends and family to for special meals in the future.

We went for happy hour and enjoyed very big portions of appetizers! Can't miss their fried cheese curds, those are outstanding! We also tried the brussel sprouts appetizer- not bad but a little greasy. We also tried a pizza that was ok Unfortunately I missed the pics from the appetizers. Next time !!

We came here to celebrate my birthday, and it couldn't have been a better choice. From the moment you walk in, there's a welcoming, neighborhood feel that strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and polished service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and I especially appreciated that I never felt like a burden being the only gluten-free person at the table. (All gluten free items are marked!) The beautiful lake view added to the experience and made the evening feel even more special. The food truly impressed across the board. I had the gluten-free lamb chops, which were incredibly tender and cooked perfectly. Other members of our party ordered a variety of dishes, including steak, fish and chips (which were massive; come hungry!), risotto, and pasta with marinara, and everyone genuinely loved their meals. To top the night off, they brought out a birthday chocolate flourless cake, which was such a thoughtful and delicious touch! I'm honestly surprised we slept on this place; it's a must-try for anyone looking for delicious, well-executed food. Mundelein is lucky to have a place like this. If you're nearby and craving quality comfort food done right, this spot is absolutely worth a visit.
