In the heat. Our server was genuinely good when he materialized, which wasn't as often as we'd have liked. Food: the cheese curds earned their reputation. The Mekts burger was fine -- solid, no complaints. The Reuben rolls, however, arrived looking exactly like what they were: a Sysco product plated with minimal ceremony. Hard pass next time. As for the name -- if you're picturing a dock, pilings, maybe a gull or two -- walk outside and squint hard past the road and the rooftops. Big lake's out there somewhere. Technically. Of the different spots to get a healthy salad nearby like Panera and Cafe Zupas I'd say sweetgreen is probably the healthiest though it doesn't have as nice of seating as the other options, and a bit more limited selection of menu items as they focus on giving the freshest salads with quality sourced ingredients, but fewer options to choose from as a result. Fortunately, if going with friends that are looking for other options there's plenty of different restaurant options in this area of Deerfield. The bowls are filled pretty generously with a good amount of protein. Flavor combinations are good, probably the most savory feeling of the different similar concepts available. Service is quick and friendly, and prices are reasonable. Parking can be a challenge at times in this busy shopping center, so it's not a bad idea to get carryout outside of normal meal hours. Overall good choice if you're looking to eat healthy and tasty, without spending a ton of money for a filling meal.

I got the barbecue chicken salad while my husband had the harvest salad. Both salads were big and had lots of fresh ingredients. Everything was crisp and flavorful. I suggest getting the dressings on the side so that you can control the flavor. You could even see the ingredients being prepared. I enjoyed watching the greens they used being pulled off the branch. The salads were good but were too big to finish in one sitting. I hope that they add a half salad option to the menu. The servers were very nice and friendly. I will be returning to Sweetgreen.

When they put the sign up I was so intrigued as to what B&B would be. Much to my delight it was Greek American style! I grew up eating along this specific fault line of American favorites and Greek classics, so I was psyched to see something like that around here. As soon as I saw they were open I had to stop in. They nailed it here. The clean diner concept was friendly and comfortable. The family run business was putting out, for my money, the best gyros anywhere around! Spinach Pie, another classic and another must have. I got one almost every visit. They did a great job with American stuff, and even a few Mexican style dishes too! I'd get the taco meal a lot actually, it was a great hearty meal. The Greek chicken plates and the lemon chicken soup were some of the best here, these guys knew their way around a chicken! There's plenty more I could say, it's been about 3 years after all... this is a big loss on the community. Nothing hits quite like this spot, it had become a go-to for me.
