I often wonder in this economy, are prices truly that HIGH , or is it business owners knowing they have a consumer based poised to pay more and they just raise prices because they can??? Put in a take out order at 7:15, cashier said about 10 minutes. Didn't get food until 7:55. At 7:30 I asked how it was going, employee said they were working on it. At 7:35 I saw another employee check the order again after overhearing me ask and the realized the kitchen hadn't started the fettucine alfredo. That employee asked them to get it started. At 7:45 got my order, double checked and was missing 2 cheese fries. No fries were ready so had to wait again for fries. During this time I saw 3 different orders receive fries before mine. Of course by now the other food that had been sitting in the bag since 7:25 was cold. Not a happy experience after spending over $100 on food there. read more

What are disaster from the wait to paying our bill!!! I feel like no one in this place gives a damn about customer service or enjoying your meal. My husbands family from out of town suggested to meet here for dinner. Our party of 8 or so arrived at 6:30 pm give or take. We weren't seated until a hour or so later... FINALLY our Waitress shows up and is frazzled... barely got our drink order together! Food order goes in about 8:00 pm... Waitress never shows back up to check or ask if refills are needed. Our food shows up sporadically... 1 person received a side of cheese sauce (no food), 1 person got there salad... etc. Overall food was terrible! My Italian beef was almost in edible, so tough and chewy I could've made a belt out of it. I ate a few bites, but gave up on it. Everyone else said food was luke warm at best and lacked flavor. The real punch to the gut was our tab was $215... no discount... no I'm sorry... nothing... cool part is the gratuity was included for $31!!! I get things happen, but WOW!!! Only upside is my husband won $100 bucks from slots, so our food was basically a freebie... NEVER again will I step foot in this place... Thrilled that we stumbled into this place. We were staying in town for a business meeting and checked out the "local" listens at our hotel. Super "cabin" vibe complete with animals skins and taxidermy. We sat at the bar and asked "Gina" what she recommended. She said the pizza is the most popular. We ordered the small meat lovers double crust. OMG! So good. Heavy as heck and super stuffed with meat. We got extra sauce on the side. Great suggestion. Pizza is good but the noise level is awful so it's not a great place to eat and talk. The "private'" room is actually worse when it comes to noise. Staff was dismissive when I brought a small group of friends and said something about the private room being so crowded and noisy. read more

While visiting my girlfriend's family we went to one of her favorite spots for pizza. It was a little early so not much of a crowd. We started with the cheese sticks and fried raviolis which were good but, they did not prepare me for the main dish. The veggie pizza I got was so scrumptious. Perfect amount of sauce and the crispiness of the crust was on point! My girlfriend had the Ditka's polish sausage which was a perfect bite from a soft, yet crisp French roll. Coming from Austin, Tx which has quite a few of their own great pizza pubs, this was a wonderful place to grab a drink and a bite! read more

Had dinner tonight. The service was awful. Ordered drinks and they came fifteen minutes later. Ordered a small pizza and it came over an hour later without the waitress stopping by once. Once the pizza came it wasn't even what we ordered and it was burned. We will not be going back. read more

Ordered two large pizzas today for pickup at 3:15 in the afternoon. When I got them home for my elderly Dads birthday we realized both pizzas were over cooked. They tasted like cardboard. When I called to let them know the woman on the phone tried to blame me by asking if I picked it up on time because maybe it was in the warmer too long. I picked it up within the time they told me to pick it up. She did apologize but my impression is they really didn't care. I thought ordering at that time of the day before the rush dinner hour you might get a properly baked pizza. That was my last time going to Bills North just due to their lack of Customer Service. I was sitting at Bills Pizza TRYING to pick up a 20 piece chicken dinner to take to a friend's house who is recovering from surgery and can't get out. I called 4 hours ahead to give them plenty of time because the order was large. They took the order. Read it back to me. Gave me the total. Guess what?? The genius who took the order cancelled it. After talking to several people ( I was told I was in the wrong Bill's that the chicken was at their Mundelein location THEY DON'T MAKE CHICKEN IN MUNDELEIN) the manager agreed to remake it. We were going to be VERY late, but decided to wait the additional 20+ minutes. Argh!! They "comped" the order - NOT at their suggestion, I had to bring it up. Nice, none-the-less. Then, when we opened up the order (15 miles away) it was 8 PIECES SHORT, potatoes were only 1/2 correct and they did not give us the 1 1/2 lb of coleslaw that was suppose to come with it. We got 5 tiny containers. Given a second chance they STILL could not get it right. Argh!! Bills does a booming business (at least on a Friday night) and my negative comment will probably not effect them (please note that I also leave positive reviews when deserved), but I will NOT be returning and I suggest you think twice before you do as well. read more

Anyway, she dropped off menus took forever to come back to get our order. Took almost 40 minutes to get our food, and she never came back once to check on us as I was dying of thirst and needed some water or at least a refill on my watered down "specialty" Christmas cocktail . Husbands fish dinner was ice cold when served. My broasted 4 pc chicken was all breading and very little meat and totally dried out almost inedible.. one of the pcs was a "back" with spine and no meat!. The prices charged were not worthy of the subpar food, poor service. Have come to Bill's pub for years, but it has gone downhill drastically so we will not return. read more

Bill's has truly some of the best pizza around! I joined a large group here for a reception after a funeral, and we had a buffet with several thin crust pizzas. They were so good! This place also serves bowls of peanuts, and the traditional is apparently to leave the shells on the tables or ground. That part creates a bit of a mess and also seems sort of random at a pizza place, but whatever! I've really only knocked off a star because our group had a reservation after the funeral, and we had to wait for quite awhile for the room to be ready because another party had the space before us and was still in there when we arrived, then we had to wait for it to be cleaned up. With a more organized party/reservation system, I'd give it 5 stars for a super casual destination with great pizza. Peanuts optional. read more

Very spacious restaurant with ample parking in the back of the restaurant. The place had a lot of vintage hunting decor, a little area with slots machine and another area for arcade games. We had a private party for a birthday which our server was accommodating and nice. She got everyone drinks order in and refilled throughout the party. Pizzas were good. My favorite was definitely the Bill's Special. Reasonable price pizzas that are delicious. read more

Decent sized pizza place near the local community college. They have vegetarian and gluten free options which is great. They seat you with a bowl of peanuts to toss the shells on the floor when finished. Coke products on tap. Wonderful French fries. The gluten free pizza wasn't great. The crust and sauce wasn't for me, but GF crust is rarely good anywhere. Sauce caused major heartburn though. Service was wonderful. Wouldn't mind going back, would probably just get a salad though. read more

Bill's Pub is my go to for thin crust pizza. They also make a very good double decker. They have a good selection of specialty pizzas as well. I love their crispy crust! Our pizza came out hot and quickly, the service was friendly. The outside and inside of the restaurant is made to look like a lodge. First time we have been here and it was great. Very busy but not too loud. We had a great server, Art. You're greeted by a basket of peanuts and there are shells all over the floor. A down to earth joint. We had one of their signature pizzas. It was really good. My wife is very picky and she loved it. Thin crust was a little crunchy without being over cooked. Went in to order a pizza and leave. It was a late order around 8ish. The host seemed really helpful and the waitress took my order. While I waited she gave me some peanuts that are free for anyone. Also gave me a drink while I waited for the pizza to be made. Took the pizza home and it was good. I'd say it's definitely a 7.1 for everything. Not to mention eating it when it was cold the next day was also good. It's hard to find a pizza that you can snack on cold if you like that kind of thing. Very disappointing Pizza today. Something did not taste like it used to. We even asked if they changed the sauce or something else. Waitress came back and said "No, it's all the same". We even left the 1/4 of the pizza as neither one of us wanted to take it home. Okay one I never write reviews but this warranted a review. Last night myself and wife along with my daughter and brother in law stopped in for dinner. We were sat right away and I was excited after hyping up the group to try a new pizza that I knew they'd love. Well we never got served. We got our drinks after a while. Then our server never made it back to the table. Waited 15 min and finally just left. Why on earth did the manager have this server all over the place. She had a party in the party area I'm assuming. She had tables in main dining and tables on the opposite side. Mind you, there was a bar full of employees doing absolutely nothing but staring. I get it it's the restaurant business and serving isn't exactly a team sport but honestly that embarrassing. Terrible floor plan on whoever the foh manager is. By the way I'm a local and I'm extremely disappointed after getting my group all excited for pizza that we never got to eat. I'd give you a 0 if I could. This was the worst service and food. Justine was good when we first arrived but failed to check in with us after most of our food arrived. Had to ask several times about my son's pizza which he did not get until after all of us were done eating. She brought checks to all the tables that came in after us. We went to the lady's that were at the register to ask for our check. Justine and another waitress were less than happy when we asked for the check and wondered why all the other tables around us received their checks. We ordered five pizzas and none of them were good.
