- Not Real Technicians, Recommending Other Companies…read more So I will keep this short, but basically, these are a group of people who are going around claiming they are techs for HVAC systems, when in fact most of them are just random contractors looking to make some extra cash. Basically, we had this 'Max' guy come on out and basically charged us $500.00 to put taping around our system to contain "leaks". We were having an issue with our airflow pressure, A/C, and the fact that it was not cool enough. Then he talks about oh call my friends to rip out your floor see what's going on. Ya no thank you. Today on October 29, we called another trustworthy company, and here is the breakdown: 1. The fixed both our heather and A/C 2. Cleaned filters we didn't even know about, and Max didn't care to look for. I mean they were really really bad. The previous owners were filthy, disgusting people and we didn't even know those hidden filters existed. 3. Airflow is 10x better 4. Cooler and Heater works 4. It only costed $85.00 and no bullshit from them. So whats really the moral of the story, yes I should have paid more attention to a scammer just looking at a system and saying here is the problem it will cost $500.00 to fix, but we were desperate and fixing up a brand new home we bought. The other lesson here is, calling them out for it, so other people can avoid these businesses and call upon other honest businesses that do you the service you need for the price that is fair. So I will say avoid these guys and go somewhere else.

Matt repaired my Samsung fridge for freezing at the back panel. First, in Oct 2022, he installed an extra heating element for $340 and promised me that the issue is permanently addressed. Then, I had the same issue again within 4 months in Feb 2023 and this time, he replaced the evaporator cover assembly for another $75 and promised me that this is the ultimate fix and I would not have to worry about this issue again. Now, I have the same issue for the last 3 months and when I contacted them, they are essentially asking for another $537 to fix this issue and claiming that they won't even come and check why their fix didn't work because the fix is out of warranty. I would expect any decent technician to at least find out why their "ultimate fix" did not work and do what they can to address the same issue for which they were already paid $415. Please avoid because ultimately what matters is whether they stand up to their work and not whether they are nice on their first visit.
