The service provider: Alex, was on time and very knowledgable. He was able to diagnose the problem right away. He didn't have the part that needed to be replaced so drove to the supply store & returned to finish the work. He got out dishwasher running again! A huge relief after several days of it being broken. The cost was very reasonable and did not increase despite Alex having to drive about 40 miles round trip to obtain the necessary part. The company repairs many types of appliances and based on our great, 1st experience with them, we will be using their services again. Thanks again, Alex, for your excellent work!

He was able to get me on the schedule for the very next day with a free diagnostic visit. Nik arrived right on time during the 10-12 window we discussed. I was worried the freezer wasn't staying cold enough and feared a major mechanical issue. However, Nik was incredibly honest and thorough--he identified that the problem was actually just a broken drawer preventing the unit from sealing properly. Rather than charging me for unnecessary repairs or a complex diagnostic, they were extremely fair and didn't charge me for the simple fix. It is rare to find a company and a technician this honest. I will definitely be using them again for any future appliance needs. Strongly recommend asking for Nik and this company because of: 1. Prompt Communication: Claude was very responsive and confirmed the appointment immediately. 2. Honesty: Nik could have easily upsold me, but he found the true, simple cause of the issue. 3. Professionalism: They followed my specific entry instructions perfectly and were very respectful of the property.

Several competitors leaned heavily on sales-driven recommendations and were quick to dismiss questions or concerns. North Breeze was the opposite. They approached the project from an engineering perspective -- thinking through system design, airflow, zoning behavior, and real-world use instead of just quoting equipment. That made a huge difference in both the decisions we made and the final result. Their communication throughout the process was excellent. They were responsive, clear, and willing to engage thoughtfully with detailed questions, even when we were trying to understand more nuanced behavior of the system. I never felt brushed off or pressured into a quick decision. After installation, we had a specific question about how one of the zones was behaving. Rather than dismissing it, they came out, spent several hours diagnosing the system, and made adjustments to ensure it was working as intended. That level of follow-through and willingness to dig into the details really stood out. Four months later, the system is now working well, and we feel confident in both the install and the support behind it. If you're looking for a team that treats HVAC as a system to be designed and tuned -- not just sold -- North Breeze is a great choice.

From the start, his response was incredibly prompt. When I mentioned the specific error code I was seeing, CJ immediately identified the true root cause: a known design defect specific to Thermador units, rather than the simple tube replacement I'd been told. He worked efficiently, replaced the supply tube quickly, and addressed the actual underlying issue that the other guy completely missed. It's rare to find someone who knows the engineering of these high-end appliances this well. If you have a complex issue or a high-end brand, don't waste your time with anyone else--CJ is the one to call!

However, the pricing was extremely disappointing. The issue turned out to be worn drum rollers -- a relatively inexpensive part (around $30) and the repair took roughly 30-40 minutes. Despite that, the total charge was very high and far out of proportion to the parts and labor involved. For only a few hundred dollars more, I could have replaced the entire dryer. I felt taken advantage of due to my lack of technical knowledge about appliance repairs. Because of this, I would not use his service again and recommend others ask for a detailed quote and parts breakdown beforehand, better yet, find someone more reasonable.
