That says something. This is a carryout place, no seating. You have your choice of a pasty with or without rutabaga (we chose with), but they don't offer gravy or ketchup. We were out of gravy, but we still had some ketchup packets in the car, so we used those. This pasty was slightly different in that the dough seam was on the top instead of along the edge. Again, it was filled with lightly seasoned beef, onions, potatoes and rutabaga. It was delicious and filling, even though I only ate half. Service was friendly, and the signage on the building makes this place visible from 4 different directions. Food was good, bartender (ahead of being seated) was great, atmosphere was good. Service was SLOW and inattentive. There were multiple times where we waited 10-20 minutes with no food or drink in front of us. No one ever followed up for additional drink orders outside of the first. After about 1 hour & 10 minutes, I flagged down a bus boy and asked them to find out why we still hadn't gotten the main course. They said we were behind a big table and it should be about 5 minutes. 5 minutes later I flagged down my waiter and asked what was up. I was told that it was my fault for asking for our focaccia, appetizer, and main course to be spaced out. (the only options that were given were to have all items at once or spaced out) At this point I asked for a manager. The manager (owner) came out hot, acting like the soup guy from Seinfeld. He had the waiter repeat what she told to me earlier and when I tried to interject, told me to stop and listen to her. I reiterated that at this point we'd been there for over an hour after being seated (late) (also at this point it was almost and hour and a half since being seated) and that it was unacceptable to still not have been served the main course, whatever their excuse was. There were at least 3 servers, and not over 20 tables in the entire place. Instead of offering anything at all to make up for it, acknowledging any of the issues, or least of all apologizing, the owner told the waiter to "get us out of here". The waiter wound up bringing the entree in a bag and the check (including the entree) to us. I had to demand I wasn't, at all, paying for the entree in order to get it removed from the bill. (I left it on the table) The bottom line is that, the entree could've been the tastiest dish in the world, but this place doesn't deserve your patronage.

The manager inquired about our meals and we were very honest with him. His response was " let me see what I can do" and he never returned to our table. When we left and walked by the server area, he turned his back to us and walked into another room without doing anything about our terrible meals. The waitress did nothing when we told her about our meals. I'd be ashamed if I were the manager at this horrible restaurant!
