This is a hidden gem! By far, the best restaurant I have found in the UP. Not pictured is house made soup and salad. Delicious. Fork tender ribeye. King crab served precracked with melted butter. Everything was great! Atmosphere, service, pre-dinner drinks, the old fashions were excellent. We did get there right at opening and the parking lot was full ( always a good sign), our wait was only about 15/20 minutes. However when we left it was about a 2 hour wait, so just be prepared to wait as there are no reservations taken. Worth the wait, 2 full bars to help pass the time. read more

This place is price-gouging former shell of itself. I previously looked forward to a great meal at the T&T on my twice a year family trips to iron mountain. They were always known for their $12 (now $25) steak "sandwich" - an 8 oz filet on sheet of bread soaked in garlic butter. But I won't get fooled again. We were a group of nine, in town on late October Thursday night. When we entered, the dining room seemed empty but the 'hostess" immediately routed us into the separate packed bar where they gouged us for drinks. This is their typical MO, especially for any group of more than four - you'll wait 1-2 hours ..Their new prices were off the charts... $12 house wine and $20 Manhattans (I'm pretty sure I can get one cheaper IN Manhattan). A couple hours later, when the dining room was cleared out and we were on the verge of not even being able to afford steak, we were "admitted' to the empty dining room where they served a subpar meal. The beef was overcooked and the poor guy who ordered salmon got sushi ...sending it back twice before giving up. Consider making your own cocktails by visiting the Aurora gas station across the street...they have a bourbon collection like no other. If you want a good Italian meal at a nice Wisconsin supper club, hit the El Capitan a few miles up the road in Florence. You've been warned. read more

Zero stars is where it should be with the new owner. 1st bartender made 2 drinks in a row that were so over poured they were not even drinkable. I went to the other bar and had to teach the bartender how to make a proper old fashioned. She over poured as well by at least 1 full ounce. I love a good strong drink but when you are making a cocktail like that it needs to have the correct ratio of alcohol to soda/juice. We knew it was a long wait and that doesn't bother me if the service and food are good. The decor is disgusting. There is literally shag carpeting on the booth we were sitting in. The carpet in the dinning room probably needed to be replaced a decade ago. None of the lights match in the ceiling, they are all different colors and sizes. The track lighting has so much built up grease and dust on them it made me gag. This sis directly over my table im about to eat at. If it looks like this where the public can see I'm afraid to see what is in the kitchen. Our table was soaking wet when we sat down as well as the nasty vinyl bench seats. They have extremely tacky house numbers on the walls for the table. The light switch for the light at the table was making shorting out sounds if we touched it! Super scary!!! The back bartender is an absolute AWESOME bartender. We honestly really only go here for her personality. She is polite, well spoken, and good company even when the bar is packed with people. She always greets everyone with a smile and makes drinks promptly. The place is very unorganized. 1 lady took our name, another lady (the owner) took our food order and proceeded to tell us where to sit by pointing to a booth in the corner and then walking away instead of showing us to the table and asking if we need anything. By this point both of our drinks were empty. Eventually a "waitress" (LOL! she was anything but) shows up at our table and asks how we are doing.... she looked right at both our empty drinks sitting on the edge of the table and never asked if we needed new ones. I said we needed new knives and forks as all 4 were visibly dirty with old food stuck to them. After another 9 minutes pass she returns with our salads that weren't even close to correct. Russian dressing is NOT 1000 Island. They are not interchangeable. IF I ask for 1000 Island thats what I want and not Russian dressing and vice versa. I am after all about to spend $150 on dinner so yes I expect to get what I ask for. The second salad was ordered with Ranch and French dressing with blue cheese on top. What I received was who knows what. It looked like parmesan cheese on top but tasted like nothing. It was cold and grainy and gross. We couldn't figure out what it even was. They brought out a small individual loaf of bread that was cold on one side and ice cold in the center. Wasn't even warm enough to slightly melt room temperature butter. It did have good flavor but would have been a thousand times better had it been warm. Mind you the waitress yet again looked at our empty drinks sitting on the edge of the table and still didn't ask if we needed new ones. Instead she spent her time talking to a table next to ours and let some 70 year old men hit on her instead of taking care of us. We have been at our table now for 26 minutes, she has yet to return to see why I haven't touched my salad, ask if we need more drinks, or anything else. This is after waiting over 90 minutes for a table to begin with. We have been here 2 hours and received only 1 drink each! One of those drinks I had to tell the bartender how to make it! Our waitress kept looking at our table, looking at us sitting there with empty drinks and food we were not eating and never once came over to see why or ask anything. Mind you she had the 2 tables right next to us! She was more interested in getting hit on by a few dirty old men then taking care of customers. Eventually we just got up and left. This used to be a great place to go. It is clearly not anymore. No comment on the food as we never received our order other than the bread and nasty salads. read more

My Food was not very good. I ordered the cowboy ribeye. It was ordered medium but came out rare. The steak was very tough and not tender sent half back. I told the waitress and all she did was throw if out My wife's lamb was also ordered medium but came out rare! Sent it back and came back medium rare. Very good flavor and tender. I have been here a number of times and always recommended it as a great place to eat. Bill came without an adjustment for the bad steak! Do not know if I will give it another try? I am in Iron Mountain, MI area for a work project and went here tonight for dinner. I ordered the Saturday special: Prime Rib. The steak is EXCELLENT. I requested it to be cooked medium rare and the temperature was on point. The meat was so soft that it melted in mouth. I got the soup with it and today they had French onion. This dish was also delectable. They put the perfect amount of cheese on top. I was not a fan of the breadstick. It was quite generic. But I didn't mind because everything else was fantastic. The service was great. The staff was attentive. The hostess and waitress had me in and out in a very reasonable amount of time: I was seated right away. The atmosphere was fun. People were having a good time and enjoying the food. One side of the restaurant was the restaurant and the other side was a bar. The lights were slightly dimmed which created a nice ambiance. My only main complaint with Thai place is none of the staff members were wearing masks. Currently the pandemic isn't over and numbers are increasing drastically. I was a a little uncomfortable. Luckily I was 6 feet away from everyone so I think I managed safety. Also, it would be more appealing if this place offered take out. I would love to go back and try their lamb chops. But due to staff not wearing masks I will not return here during my business trip. I highly recommend the food! I would give this place 5 stars if the staff wore masks. read more

This review will discuss the upsides and the few downsides of going to the T & T Supper Club restaurant in Aurora. My main complaint: the interior decoration of the main seating room (not to be confused with the bar area) was, quite frankly, bland. The walls were very monochrome and there was not much character nor ambiance from the decorations and thus it did not leave an impression. My other smaller complaint: the salads were tasty, however their presentation as well as variety (they were just iceberg lettuce) were slightly subpar. The dressing for the salad was in a small plastic cup, and the salad had nothing in it but iceberg lettuce. Other than that the salad was good. The soup that our party ordered was the French onion. It was typical French onion soup, but was a bit heavy on the cheese. If you really like cheese, order the soup. The entrees were great, and of huge portion. I, personally, ordered a 16 oz tenderloin filet, which had the perfect combination of peppercorn sauce and steak. My father ordered a 30 oz T-Bone. Be warned: it's a little heavy on the salt. The mushrooms were great, however, and the sauce was good. My other father ordered the salmon. It was one of the best salmons he had ever had. It was moist, fluffy, and had an amazing honey mustard glaze. My brother ordered the tenderloin sandwich. He really liked it, and he thought it was cooked to perfection. The green beans that came with it were great. Finally, my sister ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken was a little bit too chewy, and the Alfredo sauce was a little watery. She also ordered the fried green beans, which she loved. Now for the service. The service was prompt, efficient, and welcoming, not to mention cheerful and bubbly with an awesome UP accent. The food was ready for us nearly instantly as we sat down, and it was great. Overall, I would highly suggest this restaurant! Other people may dislike it due to the ordering in the bar, however, the bar staff were very nice and it's just a different way of doing things. Try it out! read more

Same BS as before - they write your name down when you come in, and then you wait at the bar forever (1+ hour) for them to come and take your order. I ate there last night (4-30-16) with three other people - despite not being busy they put us through this routine. We had the privilege of eating sub-par food while the wait staff cleaned tables around us. My prime rib was fine but my side of gnocchi s were tough, sinkers that I couldn't finish. My boring iceberg lettuce salad was served on a almost flat plate - making it difficult to eat without having it end up on me or the table. When I pay for one of the most expensive items on the menu - I find out my choice of side (supposed to be included in the dinner) incurs an additional charge! I will never go back and intend on advising NOBODY else to patronize this place. There are much better choices in the area - like R's in IMT and El Cap. in SE/Florence. read more

My husband and I drove about an hour to eat here for Valentine's dinner last night. We did not have a reservation, so when we walked in we had a 2 hour wait. I originally didn't want to wait, but we found some spots at the bar and had a few cocktails while we waited. The bartenders were friendly, and the drinks were good. The hostess and our server were both so upbeat and friendly. We ordered so much food, and we were impressed with everything. We had oysters, escargot, and French onion soup. For entrees, we both ordered the filet and lobster tail with mashed potatoes. We didn't even get to try our steak and potatoes because we were so full from everything else, but our server packaged everything up for us to take home. I'm happy we waited the 2 hours, and we will definitely make the drive again! read more

The steaks were exquisitely prepared, the lobster melted in our mouth, and the garlic marinated shrimp amazing! My husband was dying for chicken and since we were not from around here we looked up a place to go. We started with onion tangles and calamari. The tangles were very greasy and we didn't eat them. The calamari was right out the bag frozen- no tentacles (the best part). We ate a few bits and had the waitress take them. She didn't ask why they were going back and we were charged full price for them. We ordered the "broasted" chicken. We both got coleslaw, meh. I got a baked potato with my chicken a it was barely warm. I asked the waitress to nuke it. She took it, brought it back- STILL COLD and I gave it back to the waitress and she asked if I wanted something different- nope, I'm done. My husband got the broccoli and seemed to like it. They cook their steaks in butter. There I said it. That's the secret. Its soooo good. And when you ask for medium rare, your steaks will come out medium rare. At other restaurants, I have to order rare so that I get medium rare. This place makes it just right. The bread is freshly baked and delicious with butter. The cod is really tasty too. It's baked just right so that it's firm but not rubbery. Kinda tastes like lobster - it's that good. If it's your birthday, your meal is half off. read more

Let's start with the most important thing - the food. Everything was good, with some things being excellent. I didn't get steak as I can get that anywhere. I decided to go for the Walleye as folks told me that's the common local fish. I'd never had it before so I can't compare, but it was fresh and had a good texture. The flavor was pretty mild. The sauce was excellent and really made the meal. The vegetable side was also excellent. Steamed just right in butter - they made eating your veggies a joy. I had the French Onion soup as well. It may not have been the best I've ever had, but it was quite good. The weakest part was the bread sticks. They were a bit heavy and thick. Some people have complained about the decor - sure, it was dated, but it was clean. The one thing that brings me down from the 4 is the initial greeting and wait leading to dinner. The floor was just under half full - about 5 of 10 tables in use. The greeter sounded harried and invited me to the bar and she would get to me ASAP. I went to the bar to be ignored for 20 minutes before the greeter took my order. About 5 more minutes she came back and said my booth was ready. I love that their "petite filet" is 12 oz. I think that about sums this place up. If you're in the area and want a steak, this is your place. It's not Ruth's Chris, but it's at least as good as any steak you'll find in the area (with the exception of the Chippewa Club). If you go on a Friday or Saturday expect to wait for quite a while (probably 45 mins or more depending on the size of your group). They typically have customers order in the bar and then bring them in when their table is ready, so you'll have a place to hang out and contemplate which giant steak your going to get for a while before you have to decide. Definitely worth checking out as dining options around here are somewhat limited. I believe they have some sort of "all you can eat" chicken special during the week. You go in give your name and then sit at the bar for a drink and order your dinner at the bar. One the salad are at the table the call your name to be seated. I had the Ribeye and it was awesome. Truly if not the best steak I ever had it is certainly at the top. I was with a group and each of the steaks were cooked to their order and everyone was very pleased. I'm not much for desert usually but they had a home made butterscotch pie that was outstanding. In addition to the awesome food our server did a wonderful job with a group of eight. I was just in this weekend for a great meal at T&T for the first time. I was with a group of 12 in town from Chicago for a bachelor party. We are pretty big steak fans and could not have been more impressed. The bartender (sorry, forgot her name) was fantastic and made a special drink for the man of honor. Our waiter, Kevin, was also top notch. Drink refills never took more than 90 seconds (not exaggerating) and he was extremely helpful to our large group. Overall, we couldn't have been more impressed with the food. I ordered beef tenderloin, which was perfectly cooked and done right (light butter, light seasoning). We also had ribs, stuffed shrimp, crab legs and lobster passed around the table that were delicious. When the bill came, you could have knocked any of us over with a feather - IN A GOOD WAY. I would have been ok with the meal costing twice what it did, really a great bargain. I am lucky it is 6 hours away or else I'd be at the T&T every weekend for their delicious steaks at a great price. I am actively trying to come up with reasons to get back to this area so I can go to the T&T again! read more
