I was charged $52 for 2 skillets and a cheeseburger w/fries. I looked over the menu online and this cost does not match the menu prices, not even close. The total should have been around 30 - 35 dollars. I was just there a hour or so ago, the cashier noticed my phone was blowing up - so then he decided to throw out a price to see if I would notice the difference. Which I didn't at the time. He didn't offer me a receipt copy either. I'm not broke , but I don't care for people blatantly stealing from me & my family either. I fully suspect the cashier knew that he was stealing.. If he's the owner I will suggest people stay away from his restaraunt or check your bill very closely. read more

I've been on a ham-and-cheese-omelet quest across Orland Park, Lockport, and Lemont, and Al's is the undisputed champ. Big, fluffy, moist, cheesy, and full of real ham off the bone--exactly what an omelet should be. Hash browns were crisp, pancakes were a nice bonus, and the service was genuinely great. The space has some miles on it, but it's clean and feels like a neighborhood classic. I'll be back--probably sooner than I should admit. read more

I was very surprised. Ordered the fried chicken, and it's seriously the best fried chicken I've ever had. It's cooked to order. So you need to wait 30 minutes. But it is SO worth it. I chose the baked potato as a side. They said baked potatoes weren't ready yet. So I opted for the Greek potatoes. Very glad I did. The Greek potatoes were Awesome. Highly recommended. We were heading towards another restaurant to have breakfast but they were too crowded so we popped into Anthony's instead (just hoping for the best). The staff was friendly and inviting and took time to rearrange tables to fit our party of 9. The service was very good (attentive to the details of our various orders) and the food was YUMMY! I told my friend that my skillet (ham, egg, green pepper and onion served over hash browns) was one of the best I have had. She felt the same about her french toast and my sister-on-law had made a similar comment about her skillet. My sister had the breakfast sandwich and really enjoyed that. The other members of our party were members of the "clean plate club" so I know they enjoyed their meals too. Thanks Anthony and staff....we'll be back!! read more

We just finished breakfast and we are looking at McDonald's for respite. We had good service, nice Christmas music, clean but worst food I have had in years. For a pancake house the pancakes were horrible, maybe frozen, they were rubber, you couldn't cut them or tear them, super spongy. These pancakes make McDonald's seem like gourmet. I had a chorizo omelette cook perfectly, onions jalapeños and tomatoes, hash browns were ok. Potato pancakes were disgusting, basically unseasoned mashed potatoes no flavor or consistency. Coffee was terrible. With so many other places to go to I can't see how they stay in business. Avoid this place! read more

Would not recommend. We were seated right away then waited about 10 minutes for our waitress; when she hadn't shown up yet, the hostess went to find her. She got the attention of the one waitress who appeared to be working in our section who told the hostess: "that's not my table, stupid. Unbelievable" Our waitress finally showed up another 10 minutes after that (the hostess very nicely got us coffee in that time, at least). She got our food, never checked on us again, and then brought us our check (after we sat for a while with empty plates). Ordered carry out Thanksgiving dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Very generous portions of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, and corn. Cream of chicken soup was delicious. Custard pumpkin pie was also included. Staff working Thanksgiving Day were kind and wonderful. Hard to replace a home cooked Thanksgiving meal, but family circumstances this year would not allow. Our dinner from Anthony's was just what we needed. Based on this experience, we had carry out over the holiday weekend. Everything was delicious - patty melt, burgers, Malibu chicken sandwich, onion rings, cottage fries, soups. All packed up securely. We have supported Anthony's through the years and especially during Covid as small businesses are extremely important to the community. The last couple of to go orders of soup were very disappointing. The clam chowder was extremely watered down. I understand things happen. Before writing this post I reached out to the owner to have him aware of our disappointment. His reply was "Thanks for your feedback ! We've been in a pandemic for the last year!! Trying our best". Decent breakfast. I had a breakfast sandwich, my daughter had Mickey mouse pancakes and husband had a skillet. Our waitress was really sweet. No complaints on the food, your basic breakfast, nothing fancy. The coffee was horrible though. However, I will NEVER go back based off the recent yelp reviews of the owner's comments. I am so glad I didn't experience such a horrid man while I was there. I probably wouldn't have returned anyways because the atmosphere is outdated and uncomfortable, but a man with such poor customer service does not deserve a business. Stopped by after a long flight into O'Hare. Went above and beyond expectations. The servers and polite, personable, and extremely accommodating. The kitchen made our eggs over easy instead of over medium and they simply offered to just make ours again real quick. Service is prompt and pleasant. The food is beyond amazing. The eggs were double yolk and very delicious, bacon is perfectly cooked, and a must try is absolutely the peach pancakes with whipped cream! I moved away from Lockport several years ago, and I only miss a few things from the area. Anthony's is one of 'em. My family's been coming here for over a decade, and we've always been treated excellently by the owners. Of all the times we've been in and ordered out -- hundreds, by this point -- only a few times has a waiter or waitress been not-so-good. (Happens everywhere, with a big enough sample size.) But the real point of a restaurant is the food, and the food is great, and usually quite plentiful. The omelettes are huge, and made with twice the eggs the menu says they are; the roast turkey dinner makes me feel like I've stuffed myself at my mother's Thanksgiving. They've got a big menu, and prices are especially good for the tastiness and the amount of food you're getting. So, while I'm sure some people have come to Anthony's once or twice and had some bad experiences, after the hundreds of times and dozens of different dishes I've eaten there, I have nothing but high praise for the place. read more

I've really only tried the a few things let's start off with the burgers in my opinion they are bad but idk about you. Next the chicken tenders amazing I love it. Best family restaurant in the area, I've never had a bad meal. The homemade lasagna is super delicious, chicken parmesan is fabulous, and the chicken rosamarina soup is especially tasty. Don't forget to get the rice pudding, it's awesome. Breakfast is always good here too. Prices are good and food is great. Lunch specials and sandwiches are pretty cheap, full dinners are more but you're going home with a box with enough for another meal. I would never eat here again. After we finished our meal and they took our plates away. I look down at the table and there were tiny ants crawling all over the side of our table.
