We were out in this are before work because we both have very busy work days with calls and meetings. I am a vegan, and keep a vegetarian kitchen. My husband likes meat, so we go out to eat fairly often so that my husband can get the foods that I do not allow in the house. We went to Niko's Breakfast Club and my husband loved it. There was truly nothing for me to eat except hashbrowns. They were very good, but it would have been nice if they had at least a few vegan options. Vegetarians always have plenty to eat at a breakfast spot. I believe that eggs and hashbrowns (no toast) are suitable for Celiac/gluten-free diets. They do have one gluten-free pancake. The service was fantastic! 5 stars, but they need to expand their menu offerings for people of different dietary needs/choices. Personally, we would not return due to the distance but mostly because they have nothing for me to eat. read more

This place was suggested by Google so I decided to give it a try based on the already amazing reviews. Needless to say, they weren't wrong. This place is amazing! From the beginning, it knew this was gonna be good when I ordered my coffee. Delicious and warm. Then I was given the menu. There's so many choices I didn't know what to order! I sat at the bar in the back adjacent to the kitchen. It wasn't until then I decided on the Irish Skillet breakfast after seeing a plate. It came with corned beef hash topped with 2 eggs over easy and 2 fluffy pancakes with a dash of powdered sugar on top. The portions are large and satisfying. Unfortunately I couldn't eat it all, but I did hesitate to compliment the owner and staff for their service. This place is a little bit of heaven tucked in a small shopping area. This morning my husband ordered 2 skillets from the Romeoville location, one with over easy and the other with fully cooked / over hard eggs and both came runny. He attempted to call and speak to someone, the receptionist apologized but then a woman claiming to be a "manager" took the call and got defensive almost immediately, versus hearing him out. The call was allegedly dropped from their end, so he calls back and the "manager" again wants to argue about it. I'm unsure what going on here, but I don't think we'll be back. I came here with my family for brunch and tit was a great experience. Starting off with the service, it was amazing. We were leaving IL after an event and I suggested stopping for brunch. This popped up in my Yelp reviews and it was a sign from above because the food is DIVINE. Service is fantastic with everyone being super friendly. Who I think is Niko himself was walking around the place, helping with the breakfast rush and greeting each and every table. He also personally thanked us for coming in as we left. Our server was pleasant and kindly kept coffee refilled. They were unfortunately out of potato pancakes so I went with the breakfast tacos. I kid you not, these were the best breakfast tacos I have had the pleasure of eating in all my 28 years. They are served in warm, sweet corn tortillas and filled with fluffy eggs, salty chorizo, crispy lettuce, then topped however you want with salsa and sour cream. The combo of salty/creamy/sweet/spicy/fresh is incredible. I cannot stress enough: get the baja breakfast tacos! They don't look like much but they are delicious. The hash browns were also very tasty. This will absolutely be a place I return to next time I am in the area. So good! Party of 6 on a busy Sunday late morning and even though they were busy, only a short wait to be seated. Small-ish place, but not too loud. At first, our experience was great because we got seated as soon as we walked through the door with friendly smiles and greetings. Upon ordering our food, our server with a blue shirt and glasses asked what drinks we wanted, which is normal, but left her coffee stain from her coffee pot on the table. She saw it multiple times and even came back to pour my partner coffee and still didn't acknowledge that she left her coffee stain on our table, didn't clean it or apologize. Who wants to eat on a dirty table? So my partner had to clean up most of her mess. After some time we got our food, which came pretty quick considering it was a little full in the restaurant- kudos to the chefs because the food was banging. Another server with glasses and a pink shirt brought our food, but we were caught off guard as she slammed the food on our table so hard that my partner, who was on the phone, was startled and confused. Before we could dig in, we wanted some hot sauce but had to sit for 5 min before we could get some, and even then we had to ask the busboy to grab it! After about 10 minutes or so, our actual server finally returned and asked us if we needed anything and so we finally got napkins after having to use the same one napkin they use to wrap our utensils... the server placed our additional napkins on the leftover stain might I add. By the time we were ready to go, we had to ask the busboy for a box. Food was good, busboy was great and friendly, chefs were doing their thing, service was awful. Oh! I went to Niko's on Father's day 2024 and had a WONDERFUL experience! The staff was very attentive, the food delicious and the food came out quickly. I'm guessing this is why this, unlike every other restaurant in the area, had a less than 1 hour wait. Niko and the rest of the staff were friendly and accommodated every reasonable request. We ordered omelets with corned beef hash and pancakes on the side. The pancakes in particular were very tasty! And the coffee was perfection. I will definitively be back. read more

Really enjoyed my gyro skillet. Very tasty. My only complaint would be that the skillet was very small. I tend to get skillets when I go out to breakfast and this was much smaller than the skillets served at other breakfast restaurants. Most places have skillets the size of dinner plates. The waitress was great and friendly and accommodating. One other thing, their register system still charges you a fee when using a debit card to pay. Fees are only supposed to be charged on credit card purchases. Because the credit card company charges a fee to the restaurant. In Illinois, you are not allowed to charge fees on purchases bought with a debit card because debit cards come from the customers checking account and are not true credit cards. So the restaurant is not being fined anything and therefore shouldn't be taking a fee from that customer. They just need to update their payment system to recognize the difference and not take a fee from their debit card customers. read more

I happen to be in Romeoville, IL over the weekend and was looking for a classic diner to enjoy a late breakfast with friends and family. Let's start with saying the place was packed! There was a wait to get seated and the diner was small....but don't let that fool you. This was probably one of the best mom and pop diners I've been to in a long time. The wait was about 10 mins which wasn't bad. After getting seated our waitress hustled to serve us and all of her other tables. The wait for our food was impressive due to a full house and how much food we ordered. While we dined, I observed organized chaos in perfect rhythmic harmony. This little restaurant had a system to navigate through a busy culinary and customer service process. There was definitely team work involved and everyone was friendly.
