we haven't been to Davidson's in a while. I remember the food being very good. We walked in and the hostess was just sitting there and I had to ask if we were in the right spot to be seated. I got a steak. ordered medium. it was cooked medium but the cook cut it in half. It was very dry and wasn't the greatest. The steak came with asparagus. The asparagus was very tasteful but the cook did not trim the asparagus so I got a big bite of the hard to chew "woody" part of the stalk. The mashed potato's were ok but dry. My wife got the chicken and steak fajita. She said they were good but you can de tell that the meat and vegetables were prepared with little to no seasoning. I tried some of the meat and it was very bland. The food was definitely not worth the money that we paid. The steak entree was 35$ and the fajitas was 30$. We will most likely not be returning to davidsons any time soon. read more

I've been here on and off over the last 8 years since my family and I moved to Lockport. We stopped going here for about 5 years because the menu changed and just didn't like the food anymore. We decided to give it another shot. We visited it twice in the past month and half. Very disappointed. Tonight my wife and I got their filet mignon and the chicken on the entree menu. Both items were overcooked. Anytime we seem to go here they overcook everything. Last month my breakfast burger was overcooked and my wife's steak sandwich was overcooked.....Definitely will not be going back anymore read more

Davidson's has the best fish tacos I have had anywhere including Florida. The Mahi and Grouper are extremely delicious as is the beans and rice. The gluten free corn tortillas option are great tasting too. I order this dish here exclusively as it is so good and unavailable elsewhere in the area. Went to Davidson's for lunch today. Great food and great service. If you haven't been there for a while, check out their website for daily specials. Today was 1/2 off burgers. The burgers are 1/2 pound, huge, and delicious. Burger and wonderful fries, at a sit down restaurant for $8.00. They also have started a Saturday and Sunday all day brunch. While were waiting for our food, reviewed the Brunch menu. They have an 8 oz Ribeye, 2 eggs, potatoes and toast for $25. Can't wait to try it. Besides the great service we received from our server, there was also a gentleman that went by and also check to make sure our food was good. I had their mini burgers on a pretzel bun. They have a large menu selection for food. Food was great but the ambiance was really loud. I haven't been here for a while and we met a few friends for dinner here last Friday. Around 8:30 pm the music all of the sudden was blaring, it was all about the bass LOL you can feel the vibration through your seats. We weren't sure if that was typical on Friday nights that it seems like it was turning into a club? I know sports are typical loud but this was really up a notch. It was really hard to have a conversation because of it. We all had great meals, a few laughs about how loud it was in there and maybe we were just getting old LOL. read more

Use to frequent Davidson's frequently. Food quality has gone downhill recently and pricing has gone way up. Now they charge for using credit cards and we will not be back. Credit cards are a cost of doing business for a restaurant the same as take out containers, dining rooms etc. read more

Our experience this evening was absolutely awful. The bartenders never even checked in on us after we received our appetizer or main courses. When we needed anything we had to flag them down for any type of attention. The bartenders played on their phones when we had empty drinks. I wouldn't normally rates a "sports bar" with a 5 star, but this plays goes above & beyond. I haven't had anything to eat here that I didn't like and I'm a bit picky when it comes to that. I've ordered drinks here that a lot of places have to look up (nothing fancy e.g. an Old Fashioned) Extensive liquor and beer choices, large menu and great service. The two guys who run the place, brothers Nicky & Pete are very cordial hosts. I hate to admit this, but my favorite part is that they have bingo on Wednesdays. They also have gambling machines. We come here all the time with the kids for dinner, and I come in sometimes for a beer with friends. The food is great, the service is excellent, and they always have a good selection of ice cold beers on tap. Excellent place. UPDATE.:: Food quality has taken a precipitous nosedive over the last year or so. Don't know what happened, but it got so bad we quit going. Ordered a burger, literally the worst one I've ever had. Tasted like it was microwaved then coated in salt. Just awful. The "manager" seems more interested in flirting with the help and looking cool than monitoring food quality. Been here a few times and food is always good. Love that they show the UFC fights! Staff is always friendly and kind. Never a long wait.

Be forewarned When ordering wine at this establishment you will get the more expensive wine not the house wine. You can by the bottle for less. $32 compared to $40 for 4 glasses. Leason learned.
