So many flavors!! This ice cream spot in downtown El Segundo is a great stop for a sweet treat. They have a ton of flavors, it's not exorbitantly priced, and they're so yummy. I got a single scoop of lavender honeycomb in a waffle cup. I'd definitely come back here for more whenever I'm in the area again.

Half scoop Butterscotch and Oreo fudge and burnt sugar vanilla

After having Mexican at another spot nearby, we needed something sweet (of course!) Good thing there wasn't a long line or people in there in general because we sampled plenty of flavors and didn't want to hold up any line. THERE ARE SO MANY FLAVORS HERE. There's something for everyone. They had an entire case of fruity/floral flavors, and an even bigger section of the sweet/desserty flavors. I was having a hard time choosing, but I liked how you could order two half scoops so that you could get two flavors without paying for the price of two (still 50 cents more though). I chose a half scoop of butterscotch Oreos and fudge and a half scoop of burnt sugar vanilla. I was a klutz and dropped my sample spoon of the burnt sugar vanilla on the ground, so I didn't get to try it, but it sounded delicious, so I opted for that flavor. I wish I hadn't because it was good but wasn't great. I thought it was unique how there were actual pieces of burnt sugar in the ice cream, but I guess the crunch wasn't what I was looking for in the moment. The butterscotch Oreos and fudge flavor, on the other hand, was superb. Exactly what you'd expect it to taste like. Both flavors were super creamy, so it was an error on my part for choosing a flavor I tried trying, but didn't know if I'd like it or not. I wish I had gotten the key lime pie or another vanilla-based flavor.

Five stars all day for Gingers Divine Ice Cream. The staff was fantastic from the second we walked in - patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited to let us sample basically anything we wanted. Which, frankly, is a dangerous level of power to hand an ice cream snob. And get this - they use washable silverware for sampling. What a concept. No mountain of plastic waste. Then the actual ice cream spoons are wood. Tiny detail, huge charm points. Love at first bite. The ice cream itself? Unreal. Smooth, fresh, and somehow both rich and insanely clean tasting at the same time. My daughter had the passion fruit sorbet and my son got the sour blueberry sorbet - both were absolute flavor bombs, like someone compressed an entire fruit market into a single scoop of frozen divinity. Meanwhile, I went full maniac with a double scoop of salted caramel and dark chocolate plus a mint chocolate cookie thingy drenched in hot fudge. Holy smokes. As a verified ice cream snob, I briefly considered asking them to install an IV drip on-site and feed that combo directly into my bloodstream once an hour for eternity. Divine indeed.

Quick and easy ice cream stop with a great variety of flavors. Love stopping here for a quick end of day treat. Exactly what you expect of an ice cream shop but better variety of flavors! It's a bit pricey but if you'd like more bang for your buck definitely go for a tub in the fridge. Staff is always friendly whenever we go :) Flavors We Love: Farmer's Market Strawberry, Banana Chip, Smoked Almond Rocky Road, Blood Orange Chip, Tuxedo Salty Caramel, and many more

I had been wanting to try this place so I'm glad I got to! They have many flavors, including many unique and vegan ones! I got a regular scoop of the dark chocolate salted Oreo. I should've gotten the kids scoop because the regular actually came with a lot! The ice cream was so creamy and smooth. The dark chocolate flavor was pretty good. It came with a good bit of Oreos too. I just wish it was balanced with a little more salt. I don't know if the worker helping us was just tired from the day but he wasn't super friendly and the other worker didn't seem to be either.

Grabbed some after dinner scoops of ice cream. You're able to sample their flavors before committing. They can also do split scoops. Their vegan ice creams are really good - for those that have lactose issues. Got a vegan ice cream and regular version. Both were spot on. The price is a bit high, but is really good ice cream. Will be back.

The ''vegan'' ice cream street sign caught my attention so I had to go try a scoop after lunch today. I ordered the dark chocolate with peanut butter and it was so delicious. The kids' size cup was more than enough because it was quite rich. I didn't specifically count, but I think there were about ten types of non-dairy ice cream. At most other ice cream shops, I'm lucky if they have one non-dairy flavor and a sorbet. It was unusual to see tasting spoons that were metal and to-go spoons that were wooden. As much as I liked the ice cream, there were two things that will ensure that I don't become a regular: 1) there was only outside seating and those chairs were quite low and looked uncomfortable 2) the prices were very high. A child's cup was $6.95 but I will say that the server packed in as much as she could. Though I won't be a regular, I will be back.

WOW!!!! Some of the best ice cream I've ever had and a great selection of vegan flavors!! This is my second time going and I was so excited to again get the vegan chocolate covered strawberry and to this time pair it with the vegan chocolate peanut butter cup! Shout out the Rosen the chosen and Lilly for helping me decide on this dynamic duo flavor combination! This will definitely be in the rotation. Fingers crossed that a rewards program of some kind gets developed!!! And maybe even some more new and yummy vegan flavors + toppings!!!

If you're an ice cream lover with divine taste, stop what you're doing and head to Ginger's Divine Ice Cream in El Segundo -- this hidden gem is seriously scoop heaven. I popped in on a warm afternoon, lured by the buzz on IG, and let me tell you... it did not disappoint. I went for the Rocky Road (because nostalgia and chocolate, duh), and WOW -- the flavors are next-level. This isn't your average rocky road. We're talking velvety rich chocolate ice cream, loaded with fluffy marshmallows that melt on your tongue and perfectly roasted almonds that add that satisfying crunch. It's indulgent without being overly sweet -- a balance that's hard to nail but Ginger's does it effortlessly.

Never have I seen so many vegan flavors and regular flavors!! Many of them are unique too like prickly pear sorbet and blueberry pie. The ice cream tasted really good and gourmet. They even let u sample which is nice but after my daughter's 5th flavor sample, the guy seemed kind of annoyed but then again I don't really blame him.

Ginger's is just what its name says...DIVINE! Here's my summary! Options: There are very few ice cream shops that include more than 2-3 vegan options. I'm so tired of being offered sorbets because they're the only dairy-free options! Also kudos to this shop for treating vegans like we deserve to enjoy goody goodness of yummy ice cream. I selected 1/2 chocolate covered strawberry vegan ice cream and 1/2 chocolate. Customer Service: good and quick. We were offered samples because it was a first time there. Afterwards we sat outside in the chairs supplied by the shop. Parking: street parking or small parking lot shared with multiple other restaurants Pricing: inflation is real people but the price was to be expected Location: downtown, Main St area of El Segundo

My cute split scoop! Chocolate and Vietnamese Coffee

Great ice cream! Cute little ice cream shop and great service. The worker was very kind and allowed us to sample the ice creams. He was very patient with our party of 5. THERE WERE SOOOO MANY FLAVORS! I think I counted over 40 flavors? I had a hard time choosing! There were a ton of vegan flavors too so this ice cream shop is vegan-friendly. All the ice creams I tried were delicious, I think it just comes down to whatever you personal preference is. I love chocolate and tried a few chocolate flavors and loved them all. I ended up doing a split scoop with my husband of Vietnamese Coffee and a milk chocolate flavor that I can't remember the name of (it was milk chocolate ice cream with bittersweet chocolate chunks or something like that). A tasty combo! I'd definitely come back!

Gingers Divine Ice Cream was indeed Divine! The staff member who helped me was personable and engaged me in conversation as I sampled my way through the case. They had unique flavors and I loved the whiskey chocolate one. The space was spacious and I enjoyed my scoops on the cozy chairs outside. Whenever I have to go to LAX, I'll make it a point to go to Gingers.

While I've been here a few times this is my first formal review. I came with my family one Sunday evening on a hot July day, bypassing several chains on the way, including the new(er) Salt and Straw across the street. The inside is packed to the brim with sweets, small toys, and people, much like a candy shop of old. After reaching the front of the winding line our family shared a Banana Split ($13) - three scoops of ice cream, a split banana, hot fudge, a single dry topping (we chose coconut), whipped cream, and a trio of cherries - about as classic as it comes. The ice cream was good but not exceptional. The chocolate and strawberry were fairly generic, but I liked the third scoop of banana foster ice cream which had a nice banana kick. I doubt this ice cream is home made. The complements and construction to the sundae were great, however, and the flavors came together well. As I would hope for a location like this, the staff are local youths who served with patience and passion. In cases throughout the store are several of their other specialties - ice cream cookie sandwiches, dipped frozen bananas, and more - inviting repeat visits. Prices are elevated but not crazy for such a trendy area, although I would say with the middling quality of the ice cream a couple dollars less would be fine. Overall, Manhattan Beach Creamery is a local landmark worth at least a single visit for anyone in the area. If you can get past the generic, if a little boring, ice cream flavor and rampant commodification of the interior, you'll find a classic ice cream parlor with great service and history. Is it worth a repeat visit? I leave that to you. Food: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5
