My friend and I order from here when I stay over at her spot in Milford. We like the delivery service. I come from West Haven where we (in my opinion) have some of the best pizza spots in CT, so I consider myself a pizza snob as well. Gino's has a solid pie, not bad at all. I brought home the leftovers for my husband he said it was excellent as well. We have ordered from them several times and last time we had to call to see what happened to our order. The driver got lost and unfortunately that happens sometimes. That will not deter me from ordering from Gino's in the future. This was my first visit to Ginos "new" location. I used to frequent their first location, further up Barnum Ave. I ordered 2 pizzas, with a 20 to 25 minute pickup time. Reasonable for a Saturday night at 6 PM. The pies came out on time but one sat on the counter in an open box, uncut, for a few minutes while staff tended to other things. Then they sat on the shelf for another 5 full minutes before anyone figured out they were mine. One of the pies was the buffalo chicken, listed on their specialty menu as a "white" pies but available with red sauce. I asked for it with red sauce, the girl who took my order said "yeah it comes that way. " OK. It didnt. No sauce, was a bit dry as a result. The other pizza was fine. Nothing exciting, but OK. If you live in this neighborhood and can tolerate poor service, try it out. If coming from across town, there are plenty of better alternatives. read more

I really enjoy the pizza at Ginos!! Found this place from a fellow yelpers review. I figured why not give it a try. I have ordered from here a handful of times. I love that their large pies are actually large. The slices are a decent size and I love the crust. So far my orders are always the 2 large and wings special. The wings are not the best in my opinion but they are by far the worst. I'd like to try their cheesesteak. The place doesnt have a room for much seating. We ordered from here tonight, not only did I have to repeat my order more then 3 times to then I was also clear no tomatoes, onion, or lettuce and that is exactly what I got on my sandwich. I think the only thing they got right was the chocolate milkshake. Also out delivery took 2 hours. I am not impressed and being sick, and not being able to eat I was really looking forward to this. Stopped by here after a long shift coz I was craving pizza. They did not disappoint! I ordered the works and it reminds me of the great old school pizza that I used to eat. The crust is not too thick and not too thin. I ordered the wings as well. I love the crispiness but it can be mixed better. This is the same Gino's that was closer to West Broad in Stratford. I don't think people know it moved, but it's bigger it's better than when it was over near West Broad. There is lit parking they usually dont mind bringing your food out to your car, they always have good pizza deals but I mostly like them for their veggie wraps the owner is always friendly, very thankful, he always shows gratitude, and he doesn't forget a face. But now, their prices are ridiculous... for example, $15.25 for 6 fried ravioli appetizer, $12 for mozzarella sticks, $9.50 for ONE Jamaican beef patty!, specialty pizzas start at $20.95 for a small, $18.50 for a calzone, $9 for ONE hot dog!, $16.99 for a panini, most pasta dinners start at $20, and desserts-- my God-- $9.99 for ONE PIECE OF CAKE or ONE CANNOLI, $10.25 for a piece of tiramisu, $10.99 for fried dough or ice cream.. I mean come on... I will not order from here or recommend it until/ IF their prices come down to what they were pre-covid. They are not the only gig in town that makes good Italian food but they are the only one with these insane prices! One of my coworkers recommended Gino's to me a few years back and we ordered from them often, but even she agrees they are crazy for their prices and she won't order from them anymore either and hasn't in a long time. The only thing worse than their pizza was their service. Where do I begin... The meat lovers pizza had meat piled on meat, literally, not cooked into the pizza. When I tried to pick up the soggy slice, half the toppings fell off. I will say, they didn't skimp on the meat, I just wish they could have assembled it into an edible pie. Unfortunately, this was the best part of my first and last experience with this Ginos. I ordered pizza delivery on a Wednesday night. I made the mistake of ordering on my credit card. I was hung up on as soon as I finished reading the card number, without being told the total or delivery time. It took 75 minutes. When the driver arrived, he didn't have a pen, nor did he give me a copy of my receipt. Upon further request from the driver and calling the store for a copy of my receipt, they still failed to provide one. I will be disputing this charge. If I could give a review lower than 1 star, I would. Absolute TERRIBLE service. We ordered the buffalo tenders for delivery and not only did it take 45 mins to an hour to arrive but it also was wrong!! The tenders had no buffalo sauce on them as we had requested them WITH sauce while ordering, but as I called the establishment the manager was rude and refused to listen to the fact that we ordered BUFFALO TENDERS and he did not understand the fact that we wanted buffalo sauce on them. He continued to argue with me that the buffalo tenders come with no sauce but at that point just write chicken tenders instead of BUFFALO TENDERS on the menu. We were offered no refund or even a sorry that it took so long to arrive or that it came wrong.
