This was a hard one to review .... Don't go in a rush, don't expect them to have complementary chips for the dish you order bc they run out, don't expect them to have consistent gas for cooking... that aside - nice very nice people esp given what they have to work with, the raw oysters and clams are fantastic - pro tip ask for horseradish on the side. My son like his lobster roll - had a lot of lobster meat. Hubby like his friend oysters - as is as well as on a roll - both were good (I liked the tomato jam - didn't think I would but tried it and was pleasantly surprised - hubby didn't like it) We all liked the raw bar Bring your patience and have a nice day of it.

Adorable, tucked away, spot on the water. The food was fantastic. Oysters were perfect. Shoe string onion rings, which is uncommon. Good portion sizes for the cost. Staff was friendly. Little store is a great bonus too. Looking forward to returning.

What a great hidden gem! This is such a great spot, the location is everything, and the food is darn good too! Beautiful ambiance -- The workers were super helpful in accommodating our preferences and were knowledgeable with the menu, helping us make great food choices!

They really are putting out some great food with a great menu. I always get lobster rolls wherever I go and there's was pretty great but the rest of the food was so good too!! Fried clam roll with a cherry pepper gastrique (what?!) the oysters casino were my fav! The flavors were awesome and I'm not usually an oyster girl. Corn on the gob was good. I felt the prices were fair to comparable places. I just love the vibes, by the water with shaded picnic tables. You could see them shucking all the oysters. The staff was working sooo hard! Yeah we waited a little for our SECOND order but it was worth it! I even brought an extra chair since the picnic table only comfortable seats 4 and it seems like others had a similar idea. BYOB amazingness thank you for that!

Perfect weather requires lunch on or near the ocean. Today we had the house salad, the lobster roll which was great, and for the first time the oysters were a bit disappointing. They were a third of the normal size . However, the quality was as good as ever. Today 's lunch gets a 4.5 but I will round it up to a five.

I'd been craving a lobster roll all summer and as a huge fan of copps oysters I was super excited to hear that the shack was open! The benches are a nice addition to the area to sit and enjoy lunch outdoors. My husband was expecting to pick up Nardelli's, but they were randomly closed. He is allergic to crustaceans and having not expecting to pick something off this menu he was able to give the clam roll a try. Both his clam roll and my lobster roll were nicely loaded, fresh and cooked to perfection. The fries were also nicely cut and fried. Sure the prices were a bit much but this was an enjoyable $50 lunch by the shore. The copps stand is still available for oysters and clams to go. This is up there for one of my favorite CT lobster rolls.

Onion rings are to die for!! Lobster roll is outstanding and I'm very picky!

Outstanding. Everything you want and more. Stunning views, clean, prompt and insane quality. Can't wait to come back here for the sunset and byob for date night.

I like to save the 5 stars for white tablecloth places with renowned chefs, but since Pete Wells gave a NYT's Critic's Pick to a food truck, the sky's the limit here. Their littleneck clams were fresh, juicy and served on a bed of ice. We both agreed that hub's fried clams (and he's an expert) were some of the best we'd ever had. I grew up where Peconic scallops washed up on the beach, and I had them raw right from the shell. Their Stonington scallops were very close to perfection, without that salt preservative flavor which means they were either very fresh or dry stored. They're served with your choice from a selection of interesting sauces. Everything is right off the boat and tastes like it. The view? Beautiful boats (one of which was a gorgeous vintage mahogany sailboat), fluffy clouds, green sea grass across the way, planters with fresh flowers and an exemplary water expanse. Who cares if you're sitting on picnic tables? Just show up early so you can get one. It's BYOB, so don't forget the corkscrew or bottle opener.

The adorable food truck, beautiful location on the water.

Delicious oysters and fresh lobsters. Encountered lots of locals buying from them, indicating our drive from New Haven was worth the trip!

I ordered the French Toast, but the food truck owner told me they had a special with French Toast, drizzled with Chocolate, and Bacon. So I decided to go with the French Toast special, and I'm glad I did. The French Toast was delectable and had a great texture. The chocolate drizzle was delicious, and you could tell it wasn't cheap chocolate. It was definitely a better grade of Chocolate. The Bacon was divine as I ate it; it literally melted in my mouth. It was crispy, and it tasted like it was Maple Bacon. The French Toast special was sprinkled with some sugar, and it was heavenly. I would recommend this food truck hands down. The customer service was fantastic, and I will definitely be back.

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.
