What delicious food here. Quite impressed with how good the sausage/ pepperoni thin crust pizza and sausage dinner was here and very reasonably priced. Right at $40 for both and 2 drinks. I'm just traveling through West Virginia and was staying in Elkins West Virginia and came upon this restaurant sort of by accident, but I am glad I did. Delicious food and a great value. I found on their Facebook page that Wednesday night was half-price pasta night so I decided to check it out. I decided on the lasagna which was made with cottage cheese. It was excellent. The lasagna dinner came with salad and bread. The salad had delicious homemade ranch dressing and was topped with pizza cheese, which really made it. I upgraded to the garlic bread and wasn't disappointed. Now the atmosphere is fine for casual dining. It is a pizza house after all. And now for the best part with the lasagna being half-price pasta tonight, I got a generous portion of baked lasagna, garlic bread, a side salad and an iced tea for around $10.50. You can't get crappy fast food for that price and dip. The lasagna was so good. I can't imagine how good the other items are baked manicotti fettuccine Alfredo, baked spaghetti, etc.. I really wish I had a place near me in Pittsburgh that had good food and really good prices like this restaurant has. Even on regular nights the pasta dishes are only $11.59 which is a great deal because they come with the salad and bread. read more

Came here with my husband for a quick lunch. We ordered the supreme pizza and a baked manicotti. Salads came out beforehand (fresh), and the entrees were great. Our server was so friendly and accommodating. The dining room might be the original from the 70s, very "late night pizza hang out" vibes. read more

This restaurant is not consistent with their food. The pizza tonight was pretty good although I don't think it had extra cheese since one area had no cheese. The salad was the disappointment tonight. The lettuce was just soft and wilted like texture with the gross white hard parts and the tomatoes were very hard and nowhere near ripe enough. I like the ranch so we do order from here around once a month and the pizza is hit or miss. Tonight it was decent. The one girl working though my husband called her ms personality. Apparently she was a bit on the rude side and nobody wants to deal with a rude person. They're just definitely not as good as they used to be. read more

I ordered a pizza for delivery. # 1 it was cold, #2 I asked for extra cheese; don't ever do that it's a rip off, #3 it looked like a toddler made it! I asked for black olives all over and green olives on half. The green olives were on maybe 2 pieces. # 4 it just didn't taste good at all, plus there was barely any sauce on it. My child said, "I don't like it I want something else" Nothing was evenly distributed. Totally not impressed; Ginos used to be good. Okay service (Elkins doesn't seem to be a friendly place) and so-so food. We were at the visitor center and the lady there suggested Gino's for pizza. Alas, the pizza was probably the worst item we got. I ordered an antipasta salad with oil and vinegar, which is near impossible to mess up. It has a little too much pepperoni but otherwise it was a nice salad. My son ordered a small cheese pizza. The waitress asked if he wanted extra cheese and he said no. Apparently she was giving him a hint - get extra cheese. When it arrived, his pizza had almost no cheese! The crust was great. Never really went here because my old roommate worked there and she was super gross. Thought I should try it again because it had been a few years. Decided to get something simple, just some garlic bread with cheese and some pepperoni bites. The pepperoni bites were alright, nothing special. The garlic bread however...anyone can grab some sandwich bread and add some cheese and get a snack. Not restaurant quality whatsoever. Anyone would expect more from an establishment, especially a chain restaurant. The roof of my mouth is now sore and I'm still hungry. Definitely not worth paying for. Pass. read more

Ordered a large pizza & bread sticks for delivery. Food arrived cold (I was staying 5 mins away drive time) Ordered at 6 pm and got it at 7:40 pm. Called to speak to a manager and was on hold for 24 minutes and the only reason I got to speak to one sooner was because I called them again on another phone & explained how pissed I was about being on hold still. The best part of of my meal was the homemade pizza crust it was very good. The toppings was okay not a lot of toppings for the cost of the pizza. $17.38 for a 14 inch 4 topping. One of my favorite places to eat...ever. If you're looking for fancy balsamic-aged feta cheese-heart of palm pizza you are in the wrong place. This is thin floppy crusted fold-it-up-to-eat-it pizza. Get the large with extra cheese, extra pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. Get a 6 pack of Rolling Rock beer. It's transcendent. Again - if you are looking for a fancy pants experience... Well, Elkins isn't for you anyway. If you want pizza that requires an AED nearby, you are there. read more

Nasty. Never in my life have I experienced that filthy of a restaurant. They used to be great but now they can't even wash dishes properly. I got my food and rotten spaghetti and cheese were on the plates. Hard to tell if the utensils they made our pizza with was even clean. Will never eat there again. read more

We went to Gino's Elkins this evening . We ordered two spaghetti dinners with salads. Our Server promptly brought the salads and bread to the table. The salads were bland with ice berg lettuce tomatoes and cheese. The four pieces of plain sliced bread were frozen as well as the butter patty's that were frozen like a piece of steel. Next, the spaghetti arrived at the table, the pasta was cold not even warm, the meatballs were not quite luke warm either.... the sauce had a heavy foul sour peppery smell and taste, it was not consumable, if we had I am sure that it would created havoc so to speak. The server a polite young lady, did apologize but this was not her fault, she further stated the kitchen staff was busy attending ta steam table issue. ....." Huh" ? I cannot fathom how Gino's could possibly serve something this bad as it goes beyond description. Sadly, this was an unbelievable bad experience. read more

I may have lived in Elkins too long but I often crave a Gino's Italian Cold Cut Sub (6" or 9") served on a warm roll. Their French fries are also good as is their coleslaw. The pizza is also great, but very pricey. The beer selection is limited to Bud and Coors, but it is cold and the service is good. You can pick up a 6-pack of better beer to go from their refrigerator on the way out. The dining room is nothing fancy, the food is nothing exceptional, but if you eat enough of Gino's Italian Cold Cut sub, you too, can crave them late at night. De-lish. read more

Gino's is always a go to spot. I love the Hot ham and cheese. Have had these for years. The the pizza from the time of post little league football games to being out with friends was always a good choice. read more

The food here is bad. Garlic bread is literally white bread with a little garlic butter. Cole slaw is 70% mayo. Poor quality cheese on the pizza and the crust is terrible---not crispy at all. Local is not always better. Pizza Hut is far superior. read more

Buyer beware. If you aren't from around here, this is a chain and has pretty mediocre food. They deliver. That's all I can say.

The one in Elkins, WV Can't get orders right we ordered a meatball sub meal and an Italian sub meal and an extra fry well instead we got two Italian sub meal so I called them back and they swear we did not order the meatball and they hung up on us twice and was very rude. Don't try talking to the manager because she is the one who took the order and got it messed up and get this the workers were standing by her and could hear what my mom told the "manager" bullshit I was standing right next to mom and I couldn't hear her so how the hell did they hear my mom and why were they not working and getting there orders straight. read more

Love the food - it is great! The Italian sub is to die for! However, I think they have cut down on the amount of meat and cheese they put in it these last couple years. Dining room leaves a LOT to be desired. Tables are sticky, I guess because they use a harsh cleaner on them and the tabletops are not designed withstand it. Also it seems dark in there, and the floor looks dirty all the time. I don't know if it's because the carpet is so dark or because they don't keep it clean, but they definitely need to change that carpet to something that looks clean. I live in the area and would frequent it much more often if it looked clean inside. That is a big turnoff. I usually just get my food to go. When I do go in to the dining room, I usually go with other people and we have a time getting waited on. They never have more than one waitress and she can NOT keep up when it gets busy in the evenings at at lunch time. Don't go at busy times unless you have plenty of time to wait!
