This place would be pictured next to the word Mid in the dictionary. Not that great of selection of food that's worth consuming that is. You have to pay and tip before the meal which I've never liked, left a 20% tip to start and only until I asked at the very end did I get a water refill even though my empty cup was at the end of table for a while. The place does look nice inside. Pre tip looking at $21 and it's just not really worth that. The chicken wings were the one bright spot, the cola chicken wings were great. Won't be back. read more

Oh my god. Let me tell you how hesitant I was because I've been to this location before which someone else owned. It would have to be someone else who owned it because this restaurant is run proper. It's everything about the one I love in Greenville without being seated a mile away from the buffet. Incredible selection and I love many things on the menu, especially the salt and pepper chicken. Stay away from it if I'm there, you may get run over. All of the food I had was about 3-4/5 stars save for the crab legs because they were way overcooked, so much that you couldn't crack the shells, they became soft. That's really it. A tip for the owner - you can order large amounts of ghee by the gallon. Will cost you way less than butter, and that's what you should use for seafood dipping, NOT butter. Ghee is a name for clarified butter. It's made by removing the fat milk solids from melted butter. It's what is used for popcorn in the movie theaters and for dipping seafood in because when you just use melted butter it will start to turn room temp and the solids clumping together while you're eating seafood - yuck, not for me. Another tip - is gives you excellent butter taste when using as a cooking oil but has a way higher burn point so it's great for frying and cooking things in a wok. Okay I digress! Hopefully someone out there enjoyed that. Let me know if you did! The ambiance is excellent and a parallel dimension from the old place. Here is my wish list of items I would love to see: Steamed dumplings Boneless bbq pork Lo mein- not made with spaghetti Orange & sesame chicken Egg rolls Anyone else find it weird that so many Chinese buffets don't have egg rolls? Avoid this place, they are rude and the food is bad! The selection of food isn't very large, and what was available wasn't very good at all. Everything was really, really mediocre. For the price they charge, it's not worth it. The restaurant was basically empty. And after eating there, I understand why. They charge a 12% gratuity charge for parties of 6 people or more, which is their prerogative. However, this isn't advertised until you get your check at the end. The sign, which they claim is in the front, is only a little bit bigger than and index card. When gratuity is added, the business must clearly communicate this fact to you. They went out of their way to hide it. I went with my son, just him and I. My mother took 4 of her grandchildren out. We were sat at different tables. We tipped our server well. When my son and I went to pay, the price was way over what it should have been. When I questioned why, I was told that they had added a almost $20 gratuity. It was explained to them that we were separate. The lady at the front desk tried telling me that because me, my son and mother and the 4 grandchildren were in the same party (we weren't, we didn't come in at the same time and sat at different tables) were in the same party, they put the gratuity on our check. When I asked to speak to a manager to see if they could help me to understand them adding the gratuity, the lady at the front desk was rude and snide and arrogant told me there was no manager. When I insisted, she called a random waiter who didn't know what was going on. The whole experience was frustrating and aggravating. I won't be going there again and would suggest going somewhere else if you're thinking about going. read more

Horrible!! Don't waste your money. Only time I had peel and eat shrimp that was rubber, couldn't bite off or cut. Wonton were stale and hardly nothing in them. Broccoli and beef was tough. Didn't try their hibachi bar, but sushi was ok, fried rice and egg rolls were also ok. If that's all you want then go there. Although Greenville has an amazing Ginza, Greer just never is as good. I've been a customer for many years before it was Ginza. It's always decent, just never great! $41 for two is steep, i expect Great! read more

Food is a bit better than your average Asian style buffet. Large variety, everything is fresh and changed out quickly if low or ran out. Very clean and quiet place to enjoy some lunch. Sushi was nice as well. read more

The food was good although they need to do a better job at keeping the actual food hot instead of just the water pans. Although I mainly ate the crab legs you have to keep asking for them and I feel that they should keep the pan filled as well as the other food. There be to many people standing at the bar waiting on crab legs. On the other hand the place is always clean and the staff is always respectful. Some of the food is ok, the chicken wasn't all that great, but as for the rest of the it was ok. Loved the crab legs ( not the fried ones there really wasn't any meat). The service wasn't that great, went long periods with out drinks being refilled or tables being cleared. The server gave their self an $16.41 unauthorized tip. I was told it would be refunded and it never was. Will not be eating there again. They don't deserve the one star. Ambiance I give it a 3 star very nice looking. read more
