Update 3/12/2026: I…read morerecently bought a house in San Jose that came with a pond. Unfortunately the previous owner had passed away and left no instructions, so I had absolutely no idea where to start. I've never had a pond before and knew nothing about how to maintain one. I remember having a great experience with Aqua lab back in 2016 so I called them back up and Kent was incredibly helpful from the start. He took the time to walk me through everything and explain how the system works without ever making me feel dumb for asking very basic questions. We decided to do a one-time deep cleaning to restore the pond. Before the scheduled cleaning, Kent stopped by to check out the system and figure out what actually needed to be done. He ended up fixing a broken part, doing a full deep clean of the pond and the filter/skimmer, and adding beneficial water additives. Since I live about 3 hours away, he kept me updated throughout the process with photos and messages, which I really appreciated. He even left me some pond tools to use and offered to come back another time, at no extra charge, when I'm at the house so he can walk me through the system in person and show me how to do the regular monthly maintenance myself (or help with that if I decide I'd rather have him handle it). His pricing was very fair and actually came in lower than other local shops I contacted. Overall just a really great experience. I've attached before and after photos of the pond. Highly recommend Aqua Lab and working with Kent. What a great guy!

I am very happy with my appointment. It has been two weeks, and I am still so pleased with the…read moreservice Melody N. provided. I knew I was in great hands when I arrived early in the morning and took time to read the team bios. I was especially happy to learn that Melody is known for working with Shih Tzus. Although I do not live nearby, I would absolutely love to return. The service I have been receiving at my local PetSmart made me give up on them after four years of taking my dog there. Melody was thorough, addressed all of my concerns, and went above and beyond to educate me. She even updated the notes as well. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend her! :)

I have been a regular to this store in the past couple years, not only purchasing something, but my…read moredogs also stayed in the PetHotel couple times a year. I used to book the exit bath on the hotel checkout day to make sure that they were clean to go home, then switched to a dedicated grooming service after they discontinued the exit bath. However, in last year, they did not trim my dog's nails and did not clean her ear either for one stay. When I found the issues at home and called them, I was told that they could hot handle my dog, so just totally skipped these two steps that I paid for. Though I was not satisfied, I thought this was an one-time accident and not reallyworth bothering with, but I then avoided booking grooming services with them for the subsequent hotel stays. Now I just checked out today for another stay which I tried again with their grooming service since last year's incident, to give them another chance, and purposely double checked her ears - all were full of wax in her outer canal! And even in some part of outer ear. When I returned to the salon and they cleaned it again, though I told him that this is the second time that they did not do the service, he said that they don't clean ear canal. However, the wax is still on her ear hair, and I can even easily wipe out more with just a tissue - after he cleaned them **again**. If this is the standard of cleanliness of West Dublin PetSmart, their bar is too low to earn customers' business. East Dublin PetSmart has been my regular grooming service provider since the first incident in last year and they don't have this issue at all. It's so funny that a box store does not have a consistent standard across all their stores. The corporate HQ should review the store's performance seriously.

Avoid this store or Petco. I went there to purchase equipments for my daughter's pet. I was…read moreintroduced the Vital Care Premier Plan by one of the staff. He told me that I could sign up for the plan to get discounts and cancel it later anytime if I did not like it. A couple of months later I found I didn't really need the plan because I could buy many things from Amazon with cheaper prices, so I decided to cancel it to avoid the monthly charge $10.96. Then, I realized that I had signed up for a membership plan with an annual commitment, which was never mentioned by the guy who helped me. I suddently felt that I was tricked. How many people would actually read all pages of the contract? Fine, I could cancel it after one year. I wanted to make sure my membership won't be renewed after one year. Guess what! There was an option of turning off the Auto-Renew Plan function on Petco website and Petco App on my phone, but I was not able to switch it off (it's a fake switch). I was shocked and thought about whether the company made this on purpose. I wanted to visit the local store where I signed up for the membership, but I was too busy to go there and forgot about it. During the Christmas break, my daughter wanted to buy a light bult at the store, so it reminded me of asking my Vital Care Premier account. I showed the Petco app on my phone to one of the staff that I could not turn off the Auto-Renew Plan, and surprisingly she had no clue and suggested me to contact the Customer Service. A couple weeks later, I decided to try it one more time on Petco website. I used the online chatting function on Petco website to look for a solution and received a customer service phone number (They could not help me from the online chatting). When I was typing another message to explain my situation, the chat session was ended by the representative. Shouldn't the representative wait for my response to end the session? I then called the customer service and explained the situation. The lady who helped me could easily switch off the Auto-Renew setting from her side. This is RIDICULOUS! The company made the option available on the website and app, but customers can not do it by themselves. I had to waste my time to get it done (one trip to the store, online chatting, phone call to customer service) instead of a simple click on the website or app. I doubted that they knew it and just wanted to make the cancellation more diffcult. Be careful about signing up for the Vital Care Premier plan! Not sure if any other customers had the same experience of cancelling the membership. No more Petco. Go to PetSmart or Amazon.

After she disappeared the only other person was in the grooming area. When we were ready no one was around. I yelled several times. I didn't get any response.
