The venue is stunning- but this is a review and a thank you to the valet team. I was working at the wedding. On my way there, I hit a pothole- made it to the venue with a torn tire. A and F Tires came to replace the tire, but I could not leave the wedding. The valet team facilitated the repair while I was inside playing music for the wedding. Hats of to the valet team. Recently attended a wedding here and was blown away with the experience. Giorgio's aced everything. It was a rainy day, which unfortunately meant for the couple the ceremony was indoors and the beautiful grounds couldn't be utilized. Still, the staff did a great job of flipping the space during cocktail hour. The staff was all friendly and helpful all night long. The food was plentiful and delicious. I don't know if it's their standard practice or a special event from the bride, but everything was clearly labeled with gluten free allergens. It was the most comfortable I ever felt eating at a wedding. During the reception each table got their own waiter/waitress. I wish I could recall our waitress's name. She was phenomenal above all else. She remembered everyone's drink order and would bring them more drinks right as they were finishing up. She remembered my entree order was gluten free and brought me freshly baked, warm and soft gluten free cookies during dessert!! She was also helping guests box up leftover entrees and desserts to take home. I was impressed by this venue all night. They certainly are top notch. read more

Giorgio's is an 11 out of 10. I recently chaired a Fundraiser at Giorgio's. I can't believe the service, quality of food and professionalism of the staff. I cannot say enough good things about my wedding at Giorgio's. This is a family owned place that really really cares about the people they're taking care of. From 7am-1am I felt like I was in the best hands. Their staff are polite, hands on, and treat you like family. Jean was my morning attendant and helped us out with our breakfast & getting ready and then again when we went to pick up our stuff the next day. She is so sweet and great to work with! Brianna was my attendant for the rest of the night and let me tell you, you can trust her with your life. She kept us on schedule and makes sure that nothing will ruin your day, and even when something goes amiss as it always does, she'll make sure you have no idea it happened . They also provided shuttle drivers to and from our hotel blocks. They were polite and one of them even made sure my 89 year old grandfather got to his room safely with his walker! The food was A+ but anyone that has ever heard about Giorgio's knows that they serve quality food that goes beyond other catering halls! I had friends and family come up to me to tell me how much they loved that everyone working there did so much for us and they wish they had that experience where they chose to get married at. One thing I do wish I did as a bride, was to be apart of rehearsal. I messed a few things up because I wasn't really aware of what was going on but it didn't ruin anything either. This is my first time at the venue, every year we plan a large Christmas party for about 100+ business people at a large venue on eastern Long Island. After a few years rotating to the same places, it was decided to try something new. Everyone, I mean "everyone" I spoke with said the food was amazing! From the carving stations, to the fresh cheeses, pastas and more importantly the bar! Total perfection. I always laugh when I see adults at an open bar. A Bloody Mary?? What the heck dude. Scotch. Ice. Done. As business folks, we had a picture photo booth close to the bar as well as a professional DJ. Visit Date: November 11, 2018 Hubby and I came here to celebrate our friend's 40th birthday. There were good aspects and bad aspects which is why personally I'm giving them 3 stars. It seemed the party was a general brunch that the restaurant might have every standing Sunday but I can't verify this. So the party host paid for our brunch as guests of the party. I didn't like where they seated our group for the brunch. We were in a corner of the brunch area blocked off by walls or a screen and there were two or three tables, the seating and space was very tight. I felt they could have handled seating us a little better. The food was pretty good, I got an omelette, a bunch of veggies, some different kinds of meat that didn't seem like there were many carbs in it, stuffed fish and eggplant parm. I also had a mimosa and coffee. The coffee was very good. I got too big of a plate so I only managed to eat half of it, I probably shouldn't have taken as much as I did. I tried a tiny sliver of chocolate cake but I was disappointed with it so I took one bite and left it alone. The grounds were beautiful so that's a plus for them. Everything was so pretty, hubby and I took our son out on the balcony and went for a walk outside with him. Zero Stars. By far the worst place you could have a wedding or event. The service is not good, but the managers/owners are what brings this place to absolute zero. They seem to enjoy cursing and talking down to their staff and their customers too, mistreating women in particular. The food was was not good, reminded me of maybe a slightly upgraded Olive Garden. We have done Easter/Mother's Day brunch at tons of restaurants before, but never Giorgio's. We came here on Easter Sunday this year and we were blown away. The food was INCREDIBLE, service was EXCELLENT and the experience was MEMORABLE! Joe, who ran the event, made sure to greet every single guest and wished everyone a Happy Easter (he also worked a family party I attended at Giorgio's in January and he is truly a remarkable, friendly person). I've never seen so many different food & dessert options: cotton candy, popcorn, full served ice cream, cookies galore, French toast station, omlettes, you name it! I've been here for a few weddings, most recently this past weekend. The venue is beautiful. The staff is friendly and attentive. When seated for dinner the waitstaff frequently checked in to refresh our drinks and water. There are two bars that we had the option of going to as well but it was nice to not have to get up during the speeches, dances, and cake cutting. The food is phenomenal! I waited to right this review until the end of the party. Well everyone, I can truly say with 100% certainty, that Giorgio's is truly over the top. From the start, valley service perfect. The cocktail party was probably the best that I've ever been to. They had sushi, sesfood gra Diablo, beef short ribs, mussels, pastas, cheeses and so much more. It was all so perfect and fresh. For dinner, we had a choice of stuffed fillet (they have you 2) roasted duck, chateu briand, chicken, vegitarian dish. Each dish was outstanding with plenty to ready. Now the service, I have never seen any better. I literally watched the staff control the entire room throughout the evening seeing to everyone's needs. A glass had broken on the dance floor and within a minute, they swarmed over it and it was all cleaned up. Truly amazing. I can't express enough how PHENOMENAL this venue and all who work there truly are. Every single detail went above and beyond our highest of expectations. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with multiple photo ops. The cocktail hour is unmatched and food throughout the night the highest caliber. Our guests were gushing each step of the way and our Viennese table dessert room truly felt like we were in Disney World! Throughout the planning process Nick and Ashley would answer texts and emails immediately and were incredibly kind, flexible, and accommodating. We felt so taken care of from start to finish from planning through the actual wedding day. Day of, everything ran smoothly and on time with every potential hiccup being taken care of immediately and behind the scenes so we had nothing to worry about. A huge part of that was the AMAZING bridal attendant, Brianna. You don't realize how critical this role is until day of. From helping bustle my dress in less than 5 minutes, to blotting a red sauce stain out of my dress (oops!), to getting deodorant, bobby pins, shoe glue for an uncle, a shirt and bow tie for a brother in law, and even a portable fan at my table to cool me between dance sets, Brianna went above and beyond to make my day special, seamless, and perfect. She helped give advice and comfort every step of the day and looking back, I can't imagine not having her by my side. Overall, everyone at Giorgios (especially our Maitre d' Nick) went ABOVE AND BEYOND on every single detail. Our wedding day was not just magical for us, but also all of our guests. We are still basking in the glow of the aftermath of our son and daughter in law's wedding yesterday at Giorgio's. Finding the right venue these days can be as tough as finding the one to marry! Long Island has so many places to choose from. It has to be a perfect blend of fabulous ambience, great customer service and delicious food. GIorgio's encompasses all of these! The grounds are spectacular with beautiful unobstructed views of lush green hills and the Long Island Sound. For me, this epitomizes what our beautiful native area is about. The inside is lovely and tastefully done. It is spacious, with elegant decor and beautiful ambient lighting. Both the Bridal and Groom's suites are well appointed and tastefully done. When our son and daughter in law asked us our advice in choosing the right place to get married, one thing that I thought was of utmost importance was the inside area for the ceremony. Although the wedding was during the warm weather, we took into account the possibility of inclement weather. July 1, 2018 was a scorcher! We were all prepared to have the ceremony at one of the beautiful outdoor sites. Last minute, due to the excessive heat and humidity, it was changed to inside. The staff did an incredible job in quickly transforming and setting up the room for the ceremony. There are many other venues that have rooms however, they are "lower level" (basement with no natural light). The ceremony was set up with floor to ceiling windows with the beautiful Long Island Sound at sunset as a backdrop. Perfect! The food was over the top. The cocktail hour had a huge variety of delicious, freshly prepared foods. It was certainly enough to please anyone from die hard carnivores with several carving stations, to seafood lovers, to fresh vegetables. Honestly, there's too much to even list! The sit down was dinner delicious with an impressive choice of main courses. The desserts were delicious and fresh. There was a variety of cocktails, wine and after dinner liqueurs served in chocolate shot cups. A very elegant touch to top off the evening. The staff was incredibly attentive, polite and aimed to please. Our Maitre D' Joshua, was a gentleman and kept everything going at a smooth pace. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding on 7/23/23. I was extremely impressed by the attention to every detail the staff provided. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The food was outstanding again along with staff service. The display of food at the cocktail hour was impressive. The bride and groom must of picked the extravagant food package because it was outstanding. I love the way they brought extra food to each table. Our waiter's name was Jake and he was Totally on point. The bathroom was top notch clean. I only have one complain, the bus driver from the hotel to the event and visa verser, was rude and extremely impatient. He actually left a guest at the hotel. I never order salmon, and I loved it, it was cooked to perfection and I had seconds. They give more than the usual amount of choices of entrees, which was remarkable for those who were picky. All our guests kept coming up to us during our reception and telling us how fantastic the service was and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I still hear at family functions how amazing our wedding was and how our wedding is compared to others as being the best! I had Gabby as my Bridal attendant. She was excellent!! We celebrated our daughter's wedding there on a rainy Friday. We had the early arrival package to get ready. The staff was amazing. Our bridal attendant, Brittney, made us feel like a very special family member was taking care of us for the day. She even attended the ceremony which was at Saint Isidore's in Riverhead. We found the most beautiful church thanks to the suggestion of the owner, George Regini. Guests from both sides told us how beautiful the ceremony was and we have Giorgio's to thank for that as well. MaitreD, bartenders, wait staff all beyond amazing; we went with such high expectations and they crushed them all. So far exceeded our expectations! Everyone was saying how great the staff was for days. The food was amazing! I had the best espresso martini ever. Giorgio's is beautiful, the rain I mentioned didn't matter. They had an area under the awning decorated beautifully for fall it was a wonderful background for pictures. Their staircase made for the most emotional first look for her dad that I had to walk away because I started to cry. It was such a beautiful moment. Went to a wedding here this past weekend and I was surprised at this venue. As someone attending the wedding and knowing how much money the couple spent for their party I was surprised at the quality of service. The service of the waiters was subpar. They were spilling and dropping things and the bars were running out of alcohol. In the beginning of the reception we had to try three different bars to get the signature cocktail!!!! How ridiculous is that! When we finally went to the last bar the bartender didn't even have the ingredients to make the drink so we had to wait 20 minutes. Also, I witnessed one girl valet with blonde hair who was very rude and confrontational with the guests. If she would have sad the things she said to me I would have been complaining to her boss that night! I'll give this place one thing and that is the property is gorgeous, but if you have a rainy day like we did it doesn't matter. I would not recommend this venue to anyone because it is not worth the ride out east from where we live in Nassau county. There are much better places that are much more closer. read more

Last night, my husband and I attended a friends wedding here. Everything was top notch. The cocktail hour had so much food ( my husband had a ball), but being Keto adapted I stuck with what I could eat. The waitstaff was attentive and service was just plain great. Dinner choices were salmon, chicken, filet, vegetarian. Waiters came around asking if anyone wanted seconds or just wanted to try something else that they offered. Words have not yet been invented to describe what Giorgio's can do for you on your special day. From the very first appointment with George himself we felt, as they say, like family. George took us around every corner of Giorgio's, gave us the history of his beautiful catering hall and did not push for us to book. My fiancé, now husband, wanted to book right away and George told us not to make any split second decision that we could always think about it and come back and take another look. We did not take his advice and booked right on the spot. BEST DECISION OF OUR LIVES. Every bride I have ever met is always stressed, crazed and sometimes even confused when planning their wedding. NOT ME. You can ask all my bridesmaids my family and even my husband, I may have been the most laid back bride ever but it was only because of the staff at Giorgio's. First of Ashley, what an angel! I may have emailed and visited Ashley about 1000 times in just a year and a half. I had the smallest questions they biggest questions and Ashley was never rude always patient and very honest. Thank you Ashley for everything you do. Fast forward to the day of Nick, Joe and Vicky!!!! These three can rule the world. Nick himself drove the shuttle that picked up our bridal party from the venue. We were running late and so were the limos to pick up immediate family so he gathered everyone and put them in the after party room before 5 pm although we were told that was the earliest we could be there. He was there for our first look and even help with our very cranky flower girl. There was an incident with a little bit of drama with one of my guest and I never found out until the next day and not by Nick himself but by another guest. Nick was so gracious, so understanding and really kind about the whole thing. Until the very last person that left Giorgio's that night Nick stood right by that door and shook everyone's hand to say goodnight. What a treasure. Now lets talk about Joe, what an amazing human being. There's no telling how stressed we may have been if Joe didn't exist. Right after the ceremony waiting for us with a glass of ice cold champagne, took us away from the crowd to get us some pictures. Right after pictures when the crowd started to bombard us saved us once more and made us sit down and eat and enjoy our very first moments as husband and wife alone, which we both appreciated so much. After we were done eating he took us out to the cocktail room to say hello to our guest when he saw were getting a little overwhelmed once more once again Joe to the rescue. At this point I stopped counting how many times Joe had saved us and truly was so confident that for the rest of the night I had nothing to worry about. When we entered our ballroom for the first time I was so emotional and really shocked at the beauty of it all, the photographers wanted to jump in to pictures right away but Joe literally made sure I had my moment to take it all in. That first moment in that ballroom with just us will truly be a moment I will never forget. This was Joe for the rest of the evening, making sure the kids were in place everyone was having fun and everything running smoothly. Ill never have enough words to thank Joe for such a wonderful experience. Last but definitely not least Vicky, you are the star at Giorgio's. Vicky introduced herself to me as my bridal attendant and from then on I worried about nothing the entire night. Vicky helped Joe on his rescue missions, she had a drink in my hand all night long and this poor wonderful angel was literally on the floor looking how to bustle my ever so detailed dress (impossible but she did it). So patient so kind and the most attentive person I have ever met. At the end of the night she packed everything exactly the way I did when I dropped it off. She also packed us a ton of food and the top of my cake for me to freeze which I asked her to do 9 hours ago, how she remembered after all she did beyond me. Besides the amazing service and all the wonderful staff the food was ridiculously good not only the quality but also the quantity, it truly is extravagant. Lastly the grounds, you will have people talking about the absolute gorgeous location, the sunset, the golf course, the vineyard the impeccable cleanliness for many many years to come. I bounced between 1 and 2 stars here, but I'll give them the 2nd star ONLY because of the fact that they appear to be able to cook food properly. That is to say, "correctly", not "wonderfully", or at all with any degree of specialness (yeah, it's not a word but it should be - I'll lobby Websters about it tomorrow). My wife and I were there for their "special" Thanksgiving buffet. They managed to irritate me right from the doorway. We got inside, walked to the podium, and then had to stand there for five minutes while the maitre-d argued with the girl working the podium about which waitress he'd move to what table. Through the whole time, neither of them even had the courtesy to look up and acknowledge that we even existed. No.. "hello, we're sorry just one moment please", not even a nod or smile. It took me several coughs and a funny noise through my nose before either of them managed to note the fact of our existence. The quality of service did not improve. What's worse, is that they have the audacity to add 18% "gratuity" to the bill, when they can barely mange to pick up a dirty plate. Food was good. Not at all exceptional. The "antipasto bar" was nothing more than a few pasta salads, a fennel salad that had the whole bulbs cut in half (nobody eats fennel that way), and a tray of sad looking ultra-thinly sliced mozzarella pinwheels. The "bread table" did have a lot of nice bread. Unfortunately, there was no where to put your plate down while attempting to cut from the loaves - all of which were arranged for a left handed person. Not that I have anything against left handed people, but statistics show they are not in the majority. We watched many people struggling to get bread. "Salad bar" consisted of grated carrots, a few dressings and some cucumber. No onions, egg, bacon, beans, any of what one would traditionally expect. "Fish Station" was a dry cooked cold salmon, a smoked whitefish, raw clams (good), and shrimp (ok). There was sushi, but no bowls were provided for soy, ginger or wasabi - so you had to drizzle from a big pitcher and by the time you got back to your table, your sushi had fallen to pieces... With the "thanksgiving dinner", there were 3 kinds of potato, and only ONE vegetable - string beans floating in a sea of butter. The turkey was cooked well, juicy - but the accompaniments were completely without flair. The desert table was clearly populated by items extracted from institutional boxes. I've seen better at a Chinese buffet. Just because you have a chocolate fountain doesn't make you special (and haven't those been out of style for about 100 years now?) What's worse, the pastries were DRY - day old at least, if not more. Repulsive, in fact. The WORST irritation came with the bill. When you charge $42.95 PER PERSON for a buffet, one does NOT expect to see soft drinks (diet coke & ginger-ale) itemized at $1 per glass. WTF? Sorry - I would NEVER go back after that - I can't believe that Sunday brunch would be much better. Sorry - I'll stick with Rothman's even though it's an hour's drive - I'll get charged about 5 dollars more, and drink Mimosas and Bloody Marys until I can't see straight - not ONE of those will show up on the bill, and neither will the soda. read more

Giorgio's is a beautiful place for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and inside is too. The staff couldn't of been nicer. Everyone was professional, super kind, and so helpful. Joe was so kind with my 86 year old mom. She was so happy and she felt special. The food was delicious too. My sons wedding was absolutely wonderful at Giorgio's. read more

We attended a wedding at Giorgio's yesterday and everything was wonderful. The venue is beautifully decorated with an outdoor arbor overlooking the LI Sound where the ceremony was held. The grounds are nicely manicured and the food was delicious from the cocktail hour to the main meal. I had the salmon which was very moist and my husband had the filet mignon that he found very tasty. The staff was incredible. I had recent surgery for cancer and had to use a walker. The owner, Nick, came to me before the ceremony and personally walked me out to the ceremony area before everyone else so I would not be impacted by the crowd. After the ceremony, he guided me to an easier way back to the cocktail hour so I did not have to climb the steep steps. There, he cleared the way through the crowd to get me to a table where I could sit. Just before the reception, I felt a tap on my shoulder to find Nick again there to assist me to the main room before the rest of the guests got there. I felt like I had my own personal assistant. Thanks, Nick, you made attending this event very easy at a difficult time for me. Our waiter was just as helpful. When my husband asked where the bar was for our drinks, he offered to get them for us. I can't praise the staff more. If you want a special place for your wedding where the grounds, food and staff are superb, this is the place for you. read more
