This isn't a glitz-and-glam gym. There are no flashy lights or influencer vibes. What you get instead is something far more valuable a healthy, structured strengthening program with real guidance to help you become a better version of yourself. It's about movement, longevity, and building strength the right way. What really sets this gym apart is the coaching staff. The coaches are consistent not rotating in and out which makes a huge difference. They know your name, your goals, your strengths, and where you need improvement. That continuity builds trust and real progress. The community is amazing. This isn't just a place to work out. Members volunteer with local pet shelters, connect outside the gym for pickleball gatherings, and host educational sessions on topics like perimenopause giving women knowledge and giving men insight so they can better support the women in their lives. That kind of environment is rare. Every month there are new challenges to push yourself, plus self-achievement awards that recognize individual wins. And I have to say the spicy stickers are a nice touch. Small detail, but it shows they celebrate effort and consistency in a fun way. Beyond Measure isn't just about lifting weights. It's about building strength in your body, confidence in yourself, and connection in your life. If you're looking for community, accountability, and long-term health plus fun this is it.

Additionally, the staff cares about your diet and wellnes, etc and they provide many options to better yourself in that way. I've never felt better about myself and I know it's because I am in a very supportive environment and there is never any judgment to anyone there based on what they can or cannot do. Everyone supports each other. I highly encourage you to give it a try. You won't be disappointed and you will see results.

The staff feels like friends/ family, the workouts are always challenging, and the members are the most accepting and welcoming group of people. Don't expect a refund and realize it is very difficult and costly to get out of a membership. This place draws you in on the 6 Week Challenge but it is all a money scam. The staff push the membership instead and offer you a flash drive with meal suggestions which they consider the nutritional offering. Maybe if you hesitate enough, they may even throw in a pair of gloves. But you pay for them too because you can't easily get your membership cancelled. The staff "forget" to cancel your membership or there is a paperwork error only to realize you are continuously being charged. I had to call my credit card company and tell them to block this charge in order to get it to stop. This was only after being charged an additional $200 "early cancellation fee." The whole thing is a money scam. I met very few people who were regular members and stuck with the exercise plan. In fact I witnessed health crises where people had to break from the class to rest or actually leave the facility only to be called out by the staff and humiliated for taking care of their own health. There is no acknowledgement of fitness and out of shape people are brought into rigorous classes with no regard for health and conditioning. It's a scary health situation that is a disaster in the making. I recommended the staff create leveled classes. For example, beginner to learn the fundamentals, middle to push the exercise, and advanced for the full out program. I was told this is not the place for that and if people couldn't keep up they shouldn't join. But clearly many out of shape people looking for a chance to get back into exercise are signed up with no regard for health and ability to keep up. There is a heart attack waiting at the door of this place. It is not worth it especially because there are many well respected and caring trainers available to work with people for far less the cost than this place. Think before you sign.

It's personal training in a small group setting. The workout changes every day so over the course of a week, even if you don't go every day, you work your entire body. Some days are strength training, some are cardio, some are both! I typically burn 300-400 calories - and the workouts are only 45 minutes long - including warm up and cool down. You can't get more efficient than that. The trainer, Grant, will help you modify any exercise to your fitness level. The equipment is state of the art and very clean. They offer FREE CHILDCARE, which is a massive benefit. My kids beg to come with me to Burn because the play room is so much fun, full of (very clean!) toys, arts & crafts and very warm and loving childcare workers. I've been bringing my youngest since she was a baby and I've always felt comfortable with the care provided. A bonus is that you can peek in on the kids through a window throughout your workout, which is great for peace of mind. I had no expectations when I joined Burn 2 years ago. To say it's changed my life is an understatement. I've dropped pounds, inches, and lowered my percentage of body fat. I have more energy than ever, a better attitude and I've made some pretty fantastic friends along the way.

I tried the free trials at 3 other local gyms that were comparable to Burn. In the end I chose Burn for the the childcare aspect, the community and the classes. Child care is huge for me because of my smaller Children. The community is great. The culture is uplifting and welcoming. The owner Robyn goes out of her way to make everyone that walks through the door feels welcomed and informed. Grant and Diane follow suit. They train and encourage all members. There are other trainers but I have not worked with them. But from what I know of the culture I'm sure they have that same welcoming and encouraging strength. The classes have different levels of difficulty and can be modified for any type of comfort level. Amy and Jackie are usually at the front desk checking people in and welcoming everyone. They have taken the time to know my kids names and also welcome them when they walk through the door. Truly this place is such a great place for everyone. There is also a sit down consultation to find where you can improve on your eating and see results of the progress you're making. I do not take as much advantage of this but I probably should. I'm not ready to give up my food but I can say I feel stronger and there has been a change to my body. I will recommend Burn to everyone I know. If you're on the fence I say jump. You will not regret it.

What I love most is that she provides Polar heart rate monitors to wear during the workout, and your heart rate zones are always projected on her TV in the gym. She has a clean gym with tons of equipment; free weights/bar, dumbbells, medicine balls, ropes, jump ropes, resistance bands, TRX, rowing machine, pull up bar, boxes, you name it- she has it! Becka is wise beyond her years in nutrition and fitness. Most personal trainers focus only on your form and weight when you attend. She cares so much more about you than your weight. She encourages you to set attainable goals, and be more in tune with your well-being. She's gentle, kind and so knowledgeable! He is the…read moremost disrespectful, arrogant, unprofessional, and egotistical human being who has degraded me and my body with his insensitive and highly inappropriate comments. The orientation with him was the first red flag but I really wanted to work out so I looked past it and signed up for a 1-year contract. He has done the following: Called me a "big girl", body-shamed me, made sexist jokes, belittled my efforts, stands & stares while you work out for way too long, made way too many comments about how flexible I am, touched me to make exercise adjustments without my consent, asked me how much I weigh in front of a group of people, and he has zero respect for boundaries. He completely overcomplicates weight/fat loss and he will talk forever about things that aren't helpful while not listening to what you have to say. In June 2021, I told him that his sexist joke and his comments about my weight made me uncomfortable and he agreed to leave me alone up until the other day, December 27th, 2021. He decided to criticize my efforts and disrespect my boundaries by insulting me and my body. I confronted him again and told him that his comments make me uncomfortable and asked him to not talk to me about my body anymore. He didn't apologize, he asked me if I was joking and he became very defensive and aggressive. He also threatened me with his attorney. I have the messages to prove this interaction. It is an expensive gym membership for $200 per month. If you still want to go to this gym, I would highly recommend that you do not sign up for a 1-year contract if you can avoid it because if you ever need to cancel you will still have to pay the FULL amount remaining for the year. $200x12 = $2400. That's a big sum of money. Zack denied me the ability to cancel my contract without penalty and he is forcing me to continue to go to a gym where I feel extremely uncomfortable. If I cancel anyway, then I would have to pay ~$800 since I have about 4 months left on my 1-year contract. I would have never supported Zack's business by going to this gym if I had known how terrible he is. I am so disappointed that Zack has created such an uncomfortable environment because when he is not at the gym (which luckily has been often), I really enjoy the workouts and the other trainers are great. If I could just rate the other trainers, I would give them all high ratings. The facility, the layout, and the equipment are good. I know I am not the only one who has gone through this with Zack and I'm glad that I had the courage to call him out on his BS and set boundaries for myself. The fact that Zack treats people so poorly especially during a pandemic when his business is already struggling, is shocking to me. I hope Zack learns how to be respectful and empathetic to others.
