Chicken parm and breadsticks. Yes it is as bad as it looks.

Absolute worst meal I've ever paid for. Looks and tastes like high school cafeteria food. Am I eating it? Yes. Because I read the reviews about how they treat customers with bad experiences.

Spinach and Chicken Pizza with tomatoes and onion. Hot traditional Wings

On a business trip and decided to stay in my room and order pizza! Food was fresh, made just as I ordered (except the wings could have been cooked a little bit longer for me). Delivery was on time, he actually arrived a little early! I recommend to my friend the next day! Wish there were a Pizza Care here in Georgia! Thorough enjoyed!! Pizza was even good out the fridge cold, for breakfast!! Lol!

Gluten free margarita pizza! Served with a side of ranch

Ah, Pizza Care...the variety you offer lives up to your name so well done on that front. The price for the quality of the healthy options? *sad face emoji* I've ordered from this place twice and I'm delighted to report that the food was tasty & delivery service was fast. Since the location teeters on the edge of the Hill District, I've never been inside the joint. They do, however, deliver to Mt Wash! The latest meal I ordered was a gluten free margarita pizza. The gluten free crust was thin and crispy. I've attempted GF pizza crust countless times and it's a difficult task to master. I'm not sure if Pizza Care buys their GF crust from another company or if they make it in house but either way, round of applause! The crust was delicious. Their margarita style was served with tomato sauce (not diced or sliced tomatoes which I would have preferred) mozzarella slices (not shredded, a plus in my book) and shredded basil. The basil wasn't scarce but it wasn't enough to enjoy in every bite. The ranch served on the side is a nice gesture but I thought it took away from the margarita pizza experience. Now I know what you're thinking- why the 3 star rating if the food was good and delivery was fast? Allow me to clarify...the pizza was small and priced the same as a large non-GF gourmet pizza. Delivery charge was a $1 so with taxes, my order came to $20 and change. When I say small, I mean it was slightly larger than a personal pan pizza. Enough for two people but not enough to justify the price. Especially with the lackluster basil and tomato sauce instead of slices, I can't place Pizza Care on my list of go-to GF pizza joints. My fellow foodies: don't rule this place out if you're not concerned with the price!

Finally, a pizza place that is accurate, delicious and has worthwhile specials. This was our second time ordering from here and we have found a winner! Our new, go-to pizza delivery place that does not disappoint!

Vegetable hoagie on whole-wheat. Over-priced and nothing special, but better than the pizza.
    Shannin Z.

Ordered a vegetable hoagie on whole wheat and a 16" X-Large Whole Wheat Pizza - Tomato Sauce, Mushrooms & Spinach on one half, Fontinella & Broccoli on other. The whole wheat bread with the sandwich was either incorrectly made with white bread or a really sad attempt at wheat. $6.50 was too much for the sandwich, but it was edible. The pizza was awful. The whole wheat crust was dense and noticeably sweet. Completely wrong for good pizza. The sauce wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Toppings were fresh enough, but fontinella cheese was bad choice for half the pizza. The mushroom/spinach slices were better, but still not even up to the level of mediocre. I won't order again, but at least the dog has treats for a few days. Finally, delivery took more than an hour.

Pizza Care has great pizza! I've tried a couple different pizzas & they've all been really good. I recommend the multi grain crust, it's flavorful, crispy & not too doughy like some pizzas. Also love the side of ranch they give you with the pizza to dip your crust in. I've also had the veggie & the fish hoagies. The hoagies were ok, nothing special. Not really worth getting, I would stick with their pizzas. I really like that they are using healthy ingredients. No preservatives or trans fat, use olive oil in their crusts, healthy crust options & their cheese is all natural. I know pizza isn't exactly healthy for you however it's nice to have a healthy choice if you are going to eat pizza once in a while. Pizza Care is a great addition to the city & I don't believe there's any other pizza shops around Pittsburgh that have these healthy options.

    Fresh Wings (hot)

The first time I ordered from here I just got some "fresh wings" which are classic bone in wings. They were great. Ordered again recently and the food was great again. I got a large pizza, wings, and Buffalo fries. The fresh wings (hot) are my favorite. Perfect amount of heat and crispness. No complaints, easily becoming a favorite place to order from.

We got to the restaurant, approached the podium, I expressed the reservation and was told that they did not have one for me. We were asked to sit in the penalty box until they were able to find a table. We were fortunate and were seated. Our server was great. Very personable, helpful with the menu, made recommendations, etc. We ordered cocktails, which were very good. We then placed our order for dinner. My spouse had the beans and greens which were found to be quite good. I had the house salad which was also very good. For an entree, Bo ordered CACIO E PEPE and I ordered, BUCATINI all'AMATRICIANA. This is where we started to descend into food limbo. The cacio e pepe was flavorless with as little pepper as possible. So few, in fact that you could accurately count them. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. My entree was another disappointment. In the description, it states: "Bucatini Pasta, Guanciale, San Marzano Tomatoes, Pecorino Romano" Now, can any of you, off the top of your heads, tell me what Guanciale is? Guanciale just happens to be, an Italian cured meat made from pork jowl or cheek. Its name comes from guancia, the Italian word for cheek. It is rubbed with salt, black pepper, and spices, then aged for several weeks, creating a rich meat with a high fat content that is prized for flavoring classic pasta sauces. In my entree they were small cubes, meat-like, and one side of each cube was burnt to a crips, solid black and real crunchy. It gave the whole dish a burnt taste. Not the best. For dessert, Bo ordered the Banana Sundae Cheesecake. I bet you thought it tasted like bananas. Nope. It tasted like cheesecake. I passed on dessert. My choice was determined by the quality of my entry. Atmosphere. There are some restaurants, these days, where you have to raise your voice to talk to one another. Here we had to literally scream but still not be able to hear one another. It's all too common now to forego a suspended tile ceiling and carpet on the floor, which absorbs the sound. This was absolutely the loudest dining establishment I was ever in. Looking around, it seemed that most people have bought into the notion that this is as good as it gets when it comes to dining ambiance. Look, I'm old school and this just didn't cut it for us. There certainly are a lot who love the restaurant and grade it accordingly. I'm just not one of them. Bon appetit!
