I booked our stay before the grand opening, trusting only the few glimpses shared on IG and I am so glad I did. Every detail here feels intentienal and true to what is promised... peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by the kind of quiet that lets you disconnect and reconnect. The sunrise views, crisp mantain air, and thoughtful touches made our visit unforgettable. The cabins themselves have everything you need, robes, a hot tub, grill, small kitchenette with a mini fridge that can fit quite a bit. If driving I highly recommend bringing a cooler with ice and lots of easy to prepare foods if staying for several days. They do have a mini market on site, but not a big selection of items - at least at that time. There is also a Big Y grocery store about 20-30 mins away. We look forward to coming back and seeing how Hinata continues to grow.

(apple turnovers, fresh fruit cups, eggs, croissants, etc..) and dinners at the on-site Perch Restaurant are delicious. The entire team at Hinata are sooo nice and welcoming.. Great team ... Ed, Abby, Laney, Adam, Mark, etc.. so nice and friendly... owners/hosts Jen and Jeff are fabulous!!! Will come back every year for sure! The cabin is gorgeous, spotless, and beautifully decorated, located with the mountain view, and birds chirping in the background. The bed and bedding/pillows are soft and comfortable. I love the private deck with the firepit, hot tub, lounge sofa, grill, table and chair sitting area that we will enjoy eating our breakfast tomorrow morning, which will delivered to our cabin.. it doesn't get better than this.! Our dinner at the Perch Restaurant on-site was delicious. Our waiter, Mark, was so nice. The owners, Jen and Jeff, are wonderful hosts ! They make sure every detail is perfectly arranged for their guests. They were so patient and understanding with a food sensitivity and catered to my needs. I work long hours, stress filled job, with a painful 1 hour commute with horrible traffic each way daily and I instantly felt the stress melt away after only a few moments on the couch on the private deck. They even took time to make our stay was very special for our anniversary with a card, chocolate, candles, rose pedals, etc.. they think of every detail.. and provide very helpful instructions how to use everything in the cabin. The rooms are stocked with snacks and there's some local artwork you can purchase if you like. The upstairs suite doesn't have any kind of a kitchen, though there's a mini-fridge and I believe a microwave, so dishes are bussed out as you use them; don't plan on doing any food prep on your own. The hostess brought breakfast to the room (there's not a common dining room like most B&Bs) and pointed out the local ingredients including eggs from her chickens and vegetables from the garden. This is a real working mini-farm and it's fun to stroll the grounds and see what is going on. And it's VERY close to the northeast corner of the campus; we were able to leave our car and walk to his dorm (Van Meter) in about 20 minutes. Like the website says, the grounds are very rich in animals and there's an extremely friendly cat who wouldn't stay out of our room in spite of the management's desire to keep the premises pet-free. Keep this in mind if you have allergies.

The gas fireplace was amazing to have during cold days and nights. The decor is quirky with retro touches. Not for everyone, and I'm sure some people won't get it. I like that its NOT like every other cookie cutter hotel chain. Staff is courteous and friendly. There is a small hiking trail up the mountain behind the hotel. Parking was convenient, right next to our room. WiFi was pretty fast. Would stay here again if in the area.

It is a minimal fee, but for the price they charge for a room, that's just nickel & diming the guest. They also make you sign an agreement that you will not bring any alcohol into your room. You either purchase from their "bar" in the lobby, or from the mini bar in the room. Neither of us are drinkers so it didn't affect us, but they charged us for a bottle of wine that we didn't take! If you want to stay there, check your charges when you get home.

We brought a telescope along with us and I was able to show my kids a close up view of the moon and Jupiter through the clean and dry mountaintop air. The rooms were clean and the furniture was practically new. The pillows and beds were soft and comfy. From the street it looked like a charming New England B&B and there are plenty of those in the area. What sets this particular one apart, in my opinion, are the following: * At the back of this charming home is a beautifully crafted, lush garden with a hammock and benches placed in strategic nooks designed for optimal book-reading or daydreaming. At the top of the small hill is a pergola -- for more daydreaming, or if you are a bride-to-be looking for a romantic venue, this tops the cake. * The added bonus: you get your own entrance to a walking trail (please see picture below) that connects to a network of trails. It's beautiful now in the the summer time. I imagined how much more beautiful it will be in autumn. I must come back. * The breakfasts are to die for!! Imaginative and definitely gourmet. BTW, I had stayed in some expensive hotels before (the Four Seasons, etc.) -- in my opinion, this B&B's breakfast is better. Way, way better. On my first day, the second course was freshly-baked frittata with a side of steamed kale and zucchini -- picked from their garden. The cheese had just the right gooey to it, and the eggs were fluffy. Day 2: French-toasted croissant filled with creamy custard and drizzled with maple-orange syrup. Yum! * The Owner, Lynn is a wonderful person who had lived in Brattleboro for a very long time and knows its ins and outs -- from where to get great cheese to Brattleboro's unique home architectures. Engaging when a guest needed help and wonderfully welcoming. Yet, I always felt I had my privacy. She has mastered how to be a great host. BTW, the rooms are clean and well kept with a touch of history and modern amenities -- for example: I had a double shower head (a rain shower and a handheld). One last thing: In a hotel or an Airbnb, I always felt unsafe -- locked and double locked. In contrast, in the three days that I stayed here, I left my windows open at night to feel the cool evening breezes from the garden, and during the day, I left my door unlocked while I ate breakfast at the dining room. Priceless. I would come back for the breakfast, or the garden and walking trails, or the wonderfully warm, welcoming atmosphere -- better still, get all three. This one is definitely worth going back to again and again whenever I find myself looking for a great place to stay in Vermont. Highly recommended!

We were in awe of the home, the decor, the homemade desserts, the little touches that made our trip very special. The suite was extremely clean and stocked with lovely linens, fresh fruit, coffee, and even fresh autumn leaves for a beautiful decorative flair. They were kind enough to pick us up from the Amtrak station and really attended to our every need. The suite was more than we had imagined, and the online pictures really do not do the Crosby House justice! Thanks The Crosby house for making our stay relaxing, romantic, and unbelievable!!!

We've camped here two years in a row and this is an awesome family campground. We love the tent…read moresites on Evergreen, and there are also cabins and lots of RV sites as well. the tent sites come with enough flat space for a few small/medium sized tents and they also include a picnic table and a metal fire ring. There is parking for 1 or 2 vehicles at each site. We enjoy the shade of these sites as well as the proximity to the bathrooms. Country Aire also has a playground, an in ground pool with a slide, a volleyball court, a game room, a laundromat, and a camp store where they make delicious fresh donuts every morning. The bathrooms are clean and the coin operated showers are nice and hot - I've never had a cold shower here. The camp store sells wood and lots of other items. Wood is reasonably priced and we've always managed to find lots of sticks for kindling right around our camp site. Looking forward to returning here next season!

I will never be back here what started out as a great. First night turned into a nightmare the next…read moreday. We were going to stay another night and the lady looked at us and said no your not. We asked why and she said she had complaints of us breaking sticks for the fire had music to loud after hours and thr fact I couldn't make it to the bathroom and puked in the woods. Apparently my puke offended them to the point where I asked if we were banned and she said yes. We never once got a warning she did not come to us with complaints we had to go to her. We just laughed in her face because all the complaints she had are literally the definition of what camping is. Have been here multiple times with My kids who get rowdy never had an issue. You couldn't pay me to go back here . After she kicked us out she still took our money for the shop there greedy condescending see you next Tuesday!!!
