I go to get them in that time and guess what? They say they've already put them up and I should've come sooner. When I have the text saying I have five more days to pick it up! The pump took my card like it was swiping into a top-secret vault, and the screen blinked at me like it was thinking real hard about whether I deserved fuel today. Inside, it smelled like a mix of air freshener, hot dogs, and ambition. I passed a guy trying to buy three scratch-offs and a Slim Jim with exact change, and the cashier didn't even blink--just nodded like, "another day at the Tiger Mart." The snacks were stocked, the bathroom was... survivable, and I found the coldest Dr Pepper this side of the Mississippi. Back at the pump, a random dude waved at me like we were old friends--pretty sure he wanted to sell me a mixtape or a lawnmower. Who knows. I fueled up, hit the road, and honestly? I left feeling weirdly accomplished. Like I survived something, but also got my snacks. Three outta five stars, and a good story to tell.
