Excellent NY Style pizza. Our normal go-to place is closed on Sundays, and I have to say, Giuseppe's is our new go-to favorite. The crust is nice and crisp but thin, and has good flavor. The sauce isn't too sweet and adding on extra cheese makes for a perfect pie. The sub sandwiches are made on pizza dough style homemade bread and are nice and crispy but soft. Large enough to feed two people with a side of cheese fries. I loved the turkey and provolone. The onions were strong, just the way I prefer them. Quick service and friendly staff. read more

Yum! We received coupons in the mail and decided to give Guiseppe's a try. Pros: The food was good! Portions were decent. Everyone waiting to pick up food was social distancing and wearing masks. The croutons are really good and taste homemade (and I usually don't like croutons at all!) Cons: It was loud and hard to decipher questions over the phone when ordering There wasn't a ton of chicken on the chicken Greek salad The menu online doesn't list out ingredients in each item, so it's hard to make decisions Overall, this was a positive experience. I got the chicken Greek salad and it was pretty good. I wish it had kalamata olives instead of sliced black. The chicken did have a nice seasoning/marinade to it. The bread sticks were great! The pizza was delicious as well. Pretty standard for pizza you find in this area. Guiseppe's was a good choice, but nothing to rant about. Well there Z fans her we go let's get into this "experience" I got two large pizzas from this place one cheese one pepperoni and onion both were not worth the almost 30$ I spent on the things First the crust was like eating tree bark it was super hard and burnt on the bottom of both pizzas the cheese pizza had 10x more grease then the pepperoni which don't make any sense They had to put like 6 home onions on it once I got it into the car the whole car reaked of onion I might as well have just eaten a raw onion The parking is limited and it's off of simpon ferry getting in and out can be challenging Other then that the people behind the counter were very nice and professional Never the less thank you for my supper gieseppe pizza I'll try your sub next time read more

Very average pizza. If you're measuring on a NYC scale, it gets a 2. If you're measuring on a central PA scale, it gets a 3.5 Sauce is pretty basic. Toppings are pretty ordinary. The dough is hit or miss. Sometimes it's perfect. Sometimes it seems a little over or under done. They do have square pizza in addition to the regular pizza. I haven't tried it, but I saw one come out and it looked great. If you want basic pizza parlor food, this is a good choice. The place was clean, the speed of service was good. The size of the slices was good for the price. I'm pretty sure they don't make their own pasta - if I'm wrong, I apologize. I couldn't tell if their sauce was homemade, purchased, or purchased and enhanced. They have several different salad options. So, if you're cutting the carbs, you'll probably find something you can eat on the menu. They have several sub and cheese steak options. They also have hamburgers and wraps. They also have several entrees - if I remember correctly they were all pasta except for the parmigiana dishes. Sides include fries and onion rings and other fried items. The people behind the counter are some of the nicest people. Seriously, even though the pizza and other food items are pretty similar to a lot of other pizza places in the area, the people are super nice. read more

I had an appointment nearby here, so I was trying to find a place to eat lunch before that happened. This place came up when I looked on Google Maps and I thought I would try it. It's your basic Family Owned place, decor was pretty cool. Like other places, order at the counter and bring it out to your table. I ordered 2 slices of BBQ Chicken Pizza and an order of fries. Speed was good here as I only waited 10 minutes. Portion size was huge! It was like an Extra Large pizza that they took 2 huge slices off of, and the order of Fries, think a Large from McDonalds but less salty. I barely had enough room to finish my meal considering I also bought a drink. Staff was also friendly and no politics on the TVs, This is actually one of the better Italian places I have been to in recent years, not beating out Caruso's of course, but honestly, I don't go to Mechanicsburg often enough to frequent this place. I was in shock. I have given this place business for the last 10 years. A sub a month ago cost $7.65. I walk in yesterday to $8.95. How can that be justified? The whole menu went up significantly. I went elsewhere for subs. They have lost my business. An increase of 50 cents I can see but $1.30 is ridiculous. I noticed as I drove by today the lack of cars in the lot. Since my original posting, we have returned numerous times for their traditional plain cheese pizza. While I enjoy all varieties of pizza, we simply can't get enough of the plain. On our last two visits, the owner threw in some extra slices at no additional cost. Omer (sp?) at the register is always pleasant and friendly. This place looks busy all the time. I live very close by and the parking lot always looks full. Tonight my kids wanted pizza so instead of ordering our usual from Zeiderelli's we decided to try this place out. When I called the man who answered was so rude, "Can I get a chicken parmesan?" He says, "Do you want the sandwich, the meal or what? You have to specify." He had such a bad attitude and to be honest I'm pretty sure it was the owner. The cheese fries were awful. They put mozzarella cheese on them. Hard, flavorless mozzarella cheese on floppy undercooked greasy fries. The pizza, cheesesteak and chicken parm were not horrible. But I will tell you that the crappy attitude when I called left the worst taste in my mouth. We will probably stick to our usual. read more
