First of don't let the outside (strip mall) or the inside (cozy and order at front) fool you into missing out on this sleeper. I have been craving a good Stromboli because they are hard to find. Well Napoli exceeded my expectations as it was excellent from the dough to cheese and filling ratio, excellent dough. A nice sweet but not too sweet sauce along with a just right bake on it. Their salads are huge and the house dressing is superb. Their gentleman working the counter and the people making the food were all very nice and you could tell they have a ton of regulars come in. My wife and I are from the Philadelphia area. When we moved out this way it was impossible for us to find good pizza. We looked and looked. We would get pizza that was not crispy at all, no flavor, just bland sub par pizza. Then we found Napoli. The pizza here is not like back home, but it's solid. This place has a very good Sicilian pizza and I'm not a fan of thick deep dish pizzas, but man this one hits the spot and will leave you full. Five freakin stars all day long!!!I I ordered a simple large cheese. And let me tell you, it was the best Cheese pizza I've had in years. The sauce is tasty but not spicy and certainly not bland. The cheese combination they use is excellent! I got delivery so I can't comment on interior ambiance or cleanliness but the food is definitely 100% on point! I also ordered the bone in buffalo wings. They were spectacular! Crispy yet meaty and tasty. The sauce was not too hot. Although you can order it that way if you want. Delivery was quick and under 30 mins. Based on the hotel clerks recommendation I decided to try Napoli. This is a small sandwich pizza shop located in a strip mall. First thing I noticed when I walked in were all of the construction guys. I took that as a good sign. Having been a a construction guy in a previous life they tend to eat at places that have filling food at good prices. We ordered the cheesesteak sandwich with sauce. The bread is made in house. Very soft and fresh. The cheesesteak was super satisfying comfort food. Very cheesy please and the fries were piping hot and soft with just a little bit of potato skin. We eat here every time we come into Carlisle to visit our daughter and her family. This time I had the manicotti and it was fabulous. It came with a salad and garlic roll. The salad had too many black olives and peppers for me but the son in law gladly ate those. The garlic roll was great but then so was the cheese bread on the side. I ordered 2 dozen hot wings asked for extra blue cheese dipping sauce receive 2 little cups for 2 dozen wings beside the fact that it was 41.00 . When I called they said dips are extra cost and sorry they forgot the extra and they would send more out at an additional fee. Guy was very rude. I and my wife shared the house supreme pizza that was by far a great pie but made the old fashioned Italian style NYC style. The pie was thin crested and crispy the toppings were excellent. The sauce was the correct amount to the excellent mozzarella cheese was tasty and stringy. Being originally from South Brooklyn this pie was a treat and not a disappointment I highly recommend this restaurant and will make it a stop on my next trip back to NYC ! read more

This place has a really good NY/Neopolitan-style pie. I got one to take back to my hotel while on a business trip in Carlisle and was pleased. First time visit to Napoli Pizza... Found it to be a very nice "hole in the wall" type pizza house. On that note, we find that most "hole in the wall" restaurants are in fact - GREAT places to eat. That being said, Napoli Pizza was FANTASTIC... Had a 12" cheese with green peppers. The flavor was superb... I have eaten quite a few pizzas over time. Most leave much to be desired in the "flavor" department, but Napoli Pizza was EXCELLENT beyond approach. Wife had a pasta dinner. This too was nothing less that SUPERIOR IN QUALITY AND TASTE... Delicious pizza, fantastic customer service, clean, bathroom was totally clean. We got three different slices: Grandma Pizza (they call it Old Fashioned on their menu), Meat Lovers, and Cheese. All were great! Love the authentic New York style thin crust, the sauce is delicious, and the cheese is top quality. Their sauce is flavorful, and, word to the wise, it's a lot saltier than typical New York pizza sauce, so be ware of what toppings you choose. The Meat Lovers meat toppings are a bit of a sodium overload with their sauce (especially the ham, which is very salty) but this is not a complaint, just a good piece of data so you can make sure to tailor your pie to what you're looking for. Family owned, these folks clearly take great pride in offering great food at reasonable prices. And they are just SO nice, friendly, and welcoming, which puts them way over the top from 4 stars to 5+++! (Although honestly I'd give them 5 stars for the pizza even if their customer service was robotic, because it was just that tasty : ) ) Happily, although we don't live in the area, our normal travel route between our current home (Virginia) and family (New York City, hometown) takes us past Carlisle PA on Interstate 81, so we will make it our business to stop at Napoli Pizza anytime we need a meal while traveling this way.
