We were checking out places on Yelp and found Giuseppe's and decided to try. When we pulled into parking lot realized it was in a BP parking lot. When we walked in very little seating if you're planning on eating there. Our server was very friendly and they do seem to have a lot of regular customers that come in to take home orders. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon wine and a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni and onions. Our pizza was brought out and the pizza looked good but after put on our plates it really didn't look like it had any sauce on it. The pizza was ok, really could have used more sauce and I'm not a sauce person. Just a FYI every bottle of wine is 29.99 regardless of what kind. Definitely not a date night place to go but if you want a takeout pizza you probably would like. read more

On the way back home from a mini vacation and saw this place close by. It's located right next to a gas station. Perfect spot for a quick bite and fuel fill up. The prices are reasonable and the place is small and intimate but also cute. The young lady who took our order was very pleasant and welcoming. We ordered a slice, mozzarella sticks and graphic knots to try a little of everything. The mozzarella sticks were good, the slices were also good but the garlic knots were the hit. The perfect blend of garlic and butter. Overall it was the perfect spot for a quick bite to eat and fuel fill up. Nice spot. read more

This quaint tucked away gem was such a lovely finish to our evening! All the cozy family owned vibes here and Absolutely worth the stop! Just a quick jump off the highway and you're there. We ordered the garlic knots, pizza Extravaganza, chocolate cake and cheesecake which came highly recommended and for good reason! The garlic knots were sooooo yummy! Garlic, buttery goodness with a delectable marinara sauce on the side. We gobbled them up immediately! The pizza extravaganza was bursting with flavor! 11 toppings and you could really taste all of the savory and deliciousness of each topping! More than anything I want to comment on the outstanding service! We were tended to as though we were invited to dinner at someone's home. Such a delightful experience. Hello, We ordered delivery for a stromboli at 6:56 P.M. The girl who took my phone order stated it would be 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes for delivery. At 8:23 I called to inquire about the delivery. The same girl who took my order stated "it just came out of the oven and the driver is on her way back to pick up your order. I asked why it's taking so long. She said she wasn't sure, it's possible someone else got your order but I don't know. At 8:26 the girl called me back and apologized that my order was still in the oven. And the driver is there waiting for my order to deliver. The driver Karen contacted me when she was on her way. She explained everything. My order was given to someone else who did not pay. So I had to wait 2 hours for delivery. So the girl who I spoke with knew my order was given to someone else and did explain what happened. No one has offered a refund for the restaurants error. Karen was awesome and is the reason I am leaving 3 stars. The stromboli was average. Lacked cheese. I feel it was thrown together to get the order filled after their mistake. Karen brought us a slice of cheesecake that she paid for to accommodate the restaurants error. Please see my photos read more

Come on, it's a gas station and next to it is a very small Italian restaurant. It can't be any good, right? Wrong. Service, awesome. Food excellent. We want to try several items because we live in Halifax Station. So we went in for lunch. Pizza (margherita), salad, and a small order of Pasta Alfredo. It was all excellent. We've had both pizza's and other items several many times and never have been disappointed. Enjoy! read more

I've had this pizza about 4 times in the last year. This last time we picked it up. We liked it a lot. But, in the past the crust has been crispier and the toppings were more completely baked. It was still a good this time but the garlic was raw tasting and the crust wasn't as crispy as usual. Strangely, the green peppers seemed to have been precooked. Maybe I never noticed that before. Anyhow, the rating above is for this time's performance. Pizza by the slice is always perfect. They warm it up for you just like in NY, using the pizza oven. Piping hot and crispy. Usually they have pepperoni, cheese, and some combo slices. We like the Extravaganza combo. The web site is very old and clunky. It's clearly marked that delivery is available after 4pm. However, I wasn't able to place a delivery order despite reading a login complete with payment information. I think last time I ditched the website and called, because the nice delivery lady commented on our new address and delivered a perfect, hot pizza right on time. This time I pushed through the web ordering and it wanted an 18% tip which I changed to 0. Hubby could tip upon pick up if he was feeling it. It was during the football playoffs and the restaurant was packed and he said there were to go orders flying out of the place, so they were very busy. Standard times are 30 minutes for pickup and 60 minutes for delivery. I've also had the spanikopita a few times. Strangely, it comes with a mystery cheese baked on top. I like it better without that. It's pretty good! Hard to beat having it almost at my doorstep. read more

I stumbled into this place on accident. I stopped off to get gas and saw it in the same strip. I was going to the beach and wanted a sub. It's a local small business and the owner was working the register and cooking the food. She made me a toasted Italian sub snd it was delicious! I was very impressed! Check them out! read more

What a great find. Don't let the location fool you. This is top notch, New York quality Italian cuisine. The Calzone was packed full of meaty and cheesy goodness. I added the garlic knots, mostly to bring home to my bride to demonstrate the great authentic delicacy that these are. Heard great things about their pizza. Very disappointing. One pizza was supposed to have extra sauce and cheese. Crust was burnt. Extra Sauce looked like maybe 2 teaspoons on top of cheese. Not enough extra cheese. Better NY pizza in Wyoming! I gave one extra star bc they had GF crust. Pricing VERY confusing on this. Ordered a Margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella. I was in the area and Giuseppe's came up in my search on Yelp. I miss good NY style pizza and they had decent reviews so I decided to give it a go. The slices were thinner than what I am used to, but both slices were great! The slices were huge and cost a little over $6. Def worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

Good spot off the highway (I95 exit 278). It has a mini mart. A gas station. And a pizza shop all in won! Giuseppe's pizza is delicious. Baked ziti delicious too. Clean bathroom. And table service directly from the hot pizza oven. I do know good pizza. I better, I'm from Brooklyn New York. I have been visiting this spot for ten plus years. Good place for a quick slice or two.They have a lunch special of 2 thin slices of cheese and a drink for $5.99. Added some pepperoni to one of the slices for a small upcharge and pepperoni was a little greasy. We were in and out in about 20 minutes just to fill the void of a late lunch and a looming early dinner. The place has seating for may 20 people so guessing the majority of their business is take out or delivery. They did have a nice wine display but IDK how many folks are coming to an establishment connected to a gas station - with no public restrooms - to have a sit down dinner with wine. read more

Completed a taste test of the two pizzerias in the area at the Old Dixie | I95 exit. Giuseppe's NY was Florida good (nice flavor), but not NYC pizza (so please do not market NY), they were slow and slices were soft (completely missing that crunch)... if they had that nice crunch under carriage it would have been four stars. To get five stars from me, you need to come correct with crunch, taste, speed and be original (if you ain't in NYC, don't say it). read more

Everything I've ever ordered from this gem of an Italian+ restaurant has been excellent: tasty, well-prepared, generous portions. Their true New York style pizza is delicious . . .especially love the white! If you order the spanakopita, get extra cheese on top. Also, crazy as this seems, they have the BEST French fries I ever ate! Crispy on the outside with some type of coating, and tender and flavorful on the inside. I've been back many times since then and have tried different items when I go there. Everything is fresh and delicious. You know they "key" to a successful restaurant??? Consistency! This place has nailed it! You want delicious authentic Italian food then you've come to the right place. Don't be fooled by it's size because there's a lot of talent behind the scenes.
