    Black bean sautée with avocado!

My favorite restaurant on the mountain!! That small kitchen whips out consistently the best food! The prices are fair and the views are amazing! I recommend getting there at 11 because it gets crazy busy! My go to is the black bean sautée with avocado or the blackened chicken pasta! Honestly you can't go wrong with anything!

Some of the best gumbo I've ever had and it was in Colorado on a mountain. Chicken, sausage, and crawfish with the perfect blend of spices. The fork and knife chili dog smothered with Chucks famous chili was equally as tasty. Looking for a nice casual dining spot with great views and quick delicious food then this is your place.

Had lunch for the first time, the food was fantastic. I had the sausage po boy. My daughter had the pulled pork. Both were excellent. I hear their signature dish is the black bean saute. I'll try that next time. There are a bunch of picnic tables outside, so on a nice day like today, you can eat outside and enjoy the awesome views.

Great place for lunch on the mountain! I had the black bean sauté from others' reviews and it was delicious and very filling before heading back down the mountain. My boyfriend had the beef po boy and the flavor was great. I ordered hot cider and it was a powder added to water (same for chai tea). My only complaint is I wish they had better drinks. Great food and you can't beat the view!!

Here is there winter menu which was hard to find online.

I enjoyed my lunch at Giuseppe's very much. I chose the muffuletta (1/4 size) and it was filling and delicious. Would definitely order again.

This gumbo was good for a tiny place up the slope's of telluride, not the hill Billys who served it!!!

Good options, few great...INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE!! Also, too crowded midday if the sun isn't out and "beach" isn't going.

The gondola ride and panoramic mountain views are breathtaking and were, without question, the highlight of our evening. Unfortunately, the dining experience itself didn't live up to the reputation or the price. Our dinner for two, including gratuity, was approximately $325, and we expected the level of food, service, and attention to detail that comes with a premier fine-dining restaurant. The meal started with promise. The lump crab corn soup was creamy and flavorful, but despite its name, there was barely any lump crab. I found myself searching for it throughout the bowl. It was enjoyable, but I expected much more considering the description and the caliber of the restaurant. The hamachi crudo was also underwhelming. While it was beautifully presented, the flavors were forgettable and lacked the freshness and balance we expected. My boyfriend summed it up best when he said he wouldn't even rank it as "okay." Unfortunately, the entrées never reached the "wow" factor that so many reviews led us to expect. My Dayboat Alaskan Halibut was slightly dry, and while the fish was well seasoned, the accompaniments were so tangy that they completely overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish. My boyfriend's Pan Seared Elk Sirloin was cooked beautifully, but the purée served alongside it simply wasn't very good and didn't complement the meat. Neither entrée left us saying, "We'd come back just to order that again," which is exactly the feeling I hope to have after spending over $300 on dinner. Dessert was enjoyable, but it wasn't enough to change our overall impression. My boyfriend's Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake was the better of the two desserts, while my seasonal peach tart was pleasant but not particularly memorable. Like the rest of the meal, both desserts were beautifully presented, but the flavors didn't leave a lasting impression. The service also lacked the attention to detail expected at a restaurant of this caliber. Our server never brushed the crumbs from our table between courses, and although I had clearly noted on our reservation that we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, no one ever acknowledged it with a simple "Happy Birthday." We weren't expecting a complimentary dessert or special treatment, but recognizing a special occasion is a thoughtful touch that many fine-dining restaurants consistently provide. The atmosphere was also disappointing. I understand Telluride embraces a relaxed mountain culture, but guests were dining in flip-flops, which took away from what should have felt like a special-occasion dining experience. Even more concerning, the woman seated next to us was vaping inside the restaurant. It became bothersome enough that I finally got up and politely asked her to stop myself. I was surprised that the staff never noticed or addressed it. Guests should never have to intervene in that situation. Overall, we left feeling that we paid for the incredible location and views more than the food or service. The scenery is unquestionably five stars, but the dining experience simply didn't justify the price. Allred's has a five-star view, but in our experience, the food, service, and overall atmosphere fell well short of the reputation that brought us there.

Either the reviews have been gamed or this restaurant has fallen off a cliff in the past couple of weeks. We had very high expectations and on OpenTable it showed two seatings . We chose the earlier seating because we understand that a tasting meal is spread out over a long period of time. It turns out the early seating must be something new for them and we seated on a patio all by ourselves. In retrospect, I should've spent more time on their website. The website only list the later seating which is why I am sure they are trying something new with the 5:30 PM seating. As I said, we were seated on a patio that was not particularly well kept. I had a view of a ladder and an exhaust fan. The rest of the furniture was pretty haphazardly arranged. Some of the plants were almost dead, and there was a lot of plant debris in the corners. This is something a good sweeping would've taken care of. The first three courses came out extremely quickly and it became obvious that they wanted us out by 7 PM. The 7 PM seating starts with a glass of wine on the patio and then the diners are invited inside for their meal. So as we were completing our meal guests had started to wander out on the patio to have their cocktail. The whole thing was really uncomfortable. The service and the wine pairing were good if not, a little rushed. The wine pairing was extremely well priced and he really knew his wine. It was a high point. At a restaurant at this price point one would expect fine stemware changing with each type of wine, but that was not the case here. The stemware was thick, stemmed and heavy, the type you would expect at a casual dining restaurant like Applebee's. We have dined at Michelin star restaurants and I know many reviews compare this restaurant with other Michelin star restaurants. I find this a bit unbelievable. The food had a couple of moments of brilliance, but the rest was simply average. We feel for the price, there are much better choices Telluride.

So I was definitely excited to visit on my anniversary and enjoy a nice meal for our special day. We were literal hostages there. Not a refill, no condiments on the table & the food severely lacked seasoning ( I fortunately had salt packets with me) NOTHING. About an hour later By chance a coworker saw us sitting there & we flagged him down - thankfully he got us boxes, printed the receipt & told us that he thought she might be in a break because he couldn't find her.
