Cool Little place with 4 or 5 tables in front a nice little side patio and an old school bar inside. I'm just going to say the burger was great, perfectly cooked and nice and juicy. The fries were fresh and cooked perfectly and delicious. Close to the downtown area fun crowd what's not to like? I liked it a lot!

We came to Cornerhouse on a chill Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty and we got a nice seat outside in front. I think the side has better outdoor seating though. Service was alright and prices seemed okay for the area. I got a Ruben that was really good. The fries were stellar but it can be a bit heavy with a burger or sandwich. They did mention some substitutions like cole slaw but I'm picky with my slaw. The bar indoors isn't too big but it was busy. Seems like a good place to catch some sports games or party with friends. All in all, it was a good visit. I'd come back here again.

A absolutely beautiful day in Telluride, CO. The sun is out, light cool breeze and the water pouring off of Bridel Vail Falls. Nothing sounds better than lunch outdoors at the Cornerhouse Grille for a sandwich and fries. We ordered and sat out front under the Aspen trees. Our Reuben sandwiches, fried chicken sandwich and fries was delivered quickly. The Reuben was served on marble bread with melted cheese, kraut and dressing. There was an abundance of meat. The fried chicken sandwich was crisp and a hit dry. The fries were decent and not soggy. Overall, the food was good and a beautiful out front patio. If you are looking for a good lunch spot while in Telluride, Cornerhouse Grille is a good spot to try.

Very very small, but friendly place. The chicken sandwich started great, but was so dang chewy I couldn't finish it. They were out of a lot of things on their menu.

While we weren't able to enjoy many meals out in Telluride due to being swamped by movies. We did have a couple quick easy bites around town, surprisingly, Cornerstone Grill was the highlight. Who would have thought that sliders, wings, and fries would have hit so hard. Yes, this was the best meal of our trip and it was so unbelievably satisfying. This was just a really wholesome experience. College football was in full swing, we were sitting at the bar, listening to wild stories from the other patrons, yep this was a great time. If I lived in Telluride, this place would be my spot. You can't miss on their weekly deals, dive bar setting, and quality food. Check em out if you're in town.

Ambiance of this place reminds me of back home LA! Loud and homey. The food was just absolutely delicious!! We found this place on yelp and the food did not disappoint. You order from the bartender and she brings out the food. She was super cool. I loved trying all the dipping sauces. We got fried pickles and Mac and cheese triangles for apps. Both good!! I got the buffalo sandwich no blue cheese and add on chicken noodle soup. Fiancé got the burger and YUM!!

The gondola ride and panoramic mountain views are breathtaking and were, without question, the highlight of our evening. Unfortunately, the dining experience itself didn't live up to the reputation or the price. Our dinner for two, including gratuity, was approximately $325, and we expected the level of food, service, and attention to detail that comes with a premier fine-dining restaurant. The meal started with promise. The lump crab corn soup was creamy and flavorful, but despite its name, there was barely any lump crab. I found myself searching for it throughout the bowl. It was enjoyable, but I expected much more considering the description and the caliber of the restaurant. The hamachi crudo was also underwhelming. While it was beautifully presented, the flavors were forgettable and lacked the freshness and balance we expected. My boyfriend summed it up best when he said he wouldn't even rank it as "okay." Unfortunately, the entrées never reached the "wow" factor that so many reviews led us to expect. My Dayboat Alaskan Halibut was slightly dry, and while the fish was well seasoned, the accompaniments were so tangy that they completely overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish. My boyfriend's Pan Seared Elk Sirloin was cooked beautifully, but the purée served alongside it simply wasn't very good and didn't complement the meat. Neither entrée left us saying, "We'd come back just to order that again," which is exactly the feeling I hope to have after spending over $300 on dinner. Dessert was enjoyable, but it wasn't enough to change our overall impression. My boyfriend's Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake was the better of the two desserts, while my seasonal peach tart was pleasant but not particularly memorable. Like the rest of the meal, both desserts were beautifully presented, but the flavors didn't leave a lasting impression. The service also lacked the attention to detail expected at a restaurant of this caliber. Our server never brushed the crumbs from our table between courses, and although I had clearly noted on our reservation that we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, no one ever acknowledged it with a simple "Happy Birthday." We weren't expecting a complimentary dessert or special treatment, but recognizing a special occasion is a thoughtful touch that many fine-dining restaurants consistently provide. The atmosphere was also disappointing. I understand Telluride embraces a relaxed mountain culture, but guests were dining in flip-flops, which took away from what should have felt like a special-occasion dining experience. Even more concerning, the woman seated next to us was vaping inside the restaurant. It became bothersome enough that I finally got up and politely asked her to stop myself. I was surprised that the staff never noticed or addressed it. Guests should never have to intervene in that situation. Overall, we left feeling that we paid for the incredible location and views more than the food or service. The scenery is unquestionably five stars, but the dining experience simply didn't justify the price. Allred's has a five-star view, but in our experience, the food, service, and overall atmosphere fell well short of the reputation that brought us there.

Outdoor, inside and banquet dining booths are all seating arrangements available in this quaint and minimalist setting. Happy hour selections are available along with small plates or hearty servings. Reservations were required due to the Film Festival crowds. The menu is divided into crudo, small shares, from the field and mains. We started with the fried green tomatoes with crab escabeche, lemon-caper aioli, green olive, pimenton oil and pickled celery. A delicious flavor with a hint of sour and beautifully crisp fried tomatoes. The shaved fennel and grape salad contained spinach, whipped goat cheese, grapefruit slices, almonds and a honey vinegarette. The flavor was a bit bland and needed more fennel. The roasted cauliflower with smoked paprika, pistachio dukkah, lemon and green olive tampanade. The pistachio dukkah and olive tampanade was unique and refreshing. Our final selection was the prawn skillet with garlic, pimenton delicious la vera, guindilla peppers, sherry reduction and toast points. A simple but delightful dish with an incredible sauce. Again, more toasted points for the sauces would of been perfect, but still a memorable dish. Even though we had an early seating, the restaurant was fairly busy. The fried green tomatoes, prawn skillet and roasted cauliflower were delightful and flavor packed. Side Work provides an unique option to the busy Telluride dining scene. Off the beaten path of Main Street, they hold their own. Coupling the different selections and size with good flavors warrants Side Work being on the Telluride good haunts. Please give Side Work, a new addition to Telluride food scene, a chance with your dining dollars.
