We came to Cornerhouse on a chill Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty and we got a nice seat outside in front. I think the side has better outdoor seating though. Service was alright and prices seemed okay for the area. I got a Ruben that was really good. The fries were stellar but it can be a bit heavy with a burger or sandwich. They did mention some substitutions like cole slaw but I'm picky with my slaw. The bar indoors isn't too big but it was busy. Seems like a good place to catch some sports games or party with friends. All in all, it was a good visit. I'd come back here again.

A absolutely beautiful day in Telluride, CO. The sun is out, light cool breeze and the water pouring off of Bridel Vail Falls. Nothing sounds better than lunch outdoors at the Cornerhouse Grille for a sandwich and fries. We ordered and sat out front under the Aspen trees. Our Reuben sandwiches, fried chicken sandwich and fries was delivered quickly. The Reuben was served on marble bread with melted cheese, kraut and dressing. There was an abundance of meat. The fried chicken sandwich was crisp and a hit dry. The fries were decent and not soggy. Overall, the food was good and a beautiful out front patio. If you are looking for a good lunch spot while in Telluride, Cornerhouse Grille is a good spot to try.

Very very small, but friendly place. The chicken sandwich started great, but was so dang chewy I couldn't finish it. They were out of a lot of things on their menu.

While we weren't able to enjoy many meals out in Telluride due to being swamped by movies. We did have a couple quick easy bites around town, surprisingly, Cornerstone Grill was the highlight. Who would have thought that sliders, wings, and fries would have hit so hard. Yes, this was the best meal of our trip and it was so unbelievably satisfying. This was just a really wholesome experience. College football was in full swing, we were sitting at the bar, listening to wild stories from the other patrons, yep this was a great time. If I lived in Telluride, this place would be my spot. You can't miss on their weekly deals, dive bar setting, and quality food. Check em out if you're in town.

Ambiance of this place reminds me of back home LA! Loud and homey. The food was just absolutely delicious!! We found this place on yelp and the food did not disappoint. You order from the bartender and she brings out the food. She was super cool. I loved trying all the dipping sauces. We got fried pickles and Mac and cheese triangles for apps. Both good!! I got the buffalo sandwich no blue cheese and add on chicken noodle soup. Fiancé got the burger and YUM!!

One of the cheapest places to eat in Telluride. We split fish & chips for two since the portions were so big. The outdoor area was nice to sit in. Free tampons in the bathroom!

So instead we are awkwardly shuffled into the bar and given one menu. Couldn't even focus on the options I hate when restaurants are a bait and switch with an uncomfortable atmosphere. The waiter then comes and doesn't introduce himself or say hello in anyway he just blurts out are you ready for wine? Keep in mind we are only allowed one menu so no I haven't had a chance to look at anything and you also lied on the phone to get us to take a trip up the gondola only to make us feel unwelcome. We decided to leave and hated every second of the experience. Coming from Los Angeles and having worked in restaurants for years they should look up the concept of modern fine dining where you offer a friendly relaxed environment while also providing exceptional food and service. This restaurant is a relic of a time where restaurants could treat you like trash and expect you to return.

For drinks we ordered dirty martinis. They were filled to the rim which was nice but could have been colder. The menu looked great. We went with burgers. We ordered the Smokehouse burger medium rare with cheddar, house bbq, crispy onions, bacon plus all the toppings. It was cooked perfectly. It came with a spicy slaw. So delicious. We also ordered the Truffle mushroom burger medium with a mixture of cremini, oyster, shiitake mushrooms plus Swiss cheese and truffle aioli plus all the toppings. It was cooked perfectly medium. It also came with the delicious slaw. The buns were a bit big but at least they were soft and delicious. The dessert. So tasty. Honestly $27 is pricy for a burger but it was very good. We would come back to Smuggler union try other menu items next time we return to Telluride.

The inside of the restaurant is warm and cozy. The outside has beautiful fire pit seating. We sat inside. Our server Reka was professional and attentive. Very knowledgeable about the menu and what options were available. Her assistant, An, was so sweet and friendly. He always had a smile on his face and even offered to take our photo when I pulled out my phone. The table was beautifully appointed. Every item we ordered was delicious. We started with the Cheddar Biscuits- grilled benton's bacon, pimento cheese, pickled onion. Very tasty. I ordered the king trumpet pasta and added chicken. The chicken was tender and the pasta dish had good flavor. My husband ordered the salmon with Risotto. He orders salmon quite often and said this was one of the best salmon dishes he has ever eaten. Our friends ordered the shorts ribs as well as a salad and added chicken. Both really enjoyed their meals. I would say they could have done a better job with the martini.
