We ordered the buffalo chicken wings. They were quite tasty. Mouse on the inside and crispy on the outside. Each of us ordered the bloody Mary's. They were quite good. Since this is a scratch kitchen, they also make their own Bloody Mary mix. We will be back to try more items next time we are in Telluride. read more

Took 10 minutes to be helped, people that sat after us got helped first. The fish and chips portion was terrible, 2 small pieces of fish for a huge plate of soggy, old fries. Floradora saloon is a great spot for a weekend brunch! If you can, get the seat in the window for the perfect, sunny, people watching spot. It was not crowded when we went. During ski season, it is going to be super crowded for dinner and not so much for lunch/brunch because everyone is out skiing. In the off season, they are more crowded in the day time... The food was really great! Three of us got the eggs Benedict. It was really good and a perfect portion size. The grits were okay, but as a person from the south, lumpy/watery grits are just not my speed, so I would not recommend them. The big brunch mimosa was only 15$ for a pint glass which I thought twas a steal, so would be a great place to just go and drink on a budget. Lastly, we started out with the baked brie which was great! Highly recommend to share with a group of four or so. My friends and I went camping near Telluride and stopped here for lunch. We walked in at about 1:15pm and were seated right away. I got the chicken sandwich with truffle fries and it was delicious. This is a nice tavern located in the heart of Telluride. The ambiance is welcoming and cozy. The service is friendly but not very attentive. This was our first time in Telluride and after driving all day we wanted a good dinner. We randomly selected this spot because of the good reviews and we will definitely be back if we are ever back in town. I had a steak salad and it was good. The steak is served cold which caught me by surprise so keep that in mind. The meat is also served medium rare so be aware of that. This isn't usually how I land my meat so it was not my favorite experience. The Diablo bowl was absolutely the best thing I ate during my trip it was delicious!!! Spicy but not too spicy. The broth was so tasty! We got vanilla rum cake for dessert which was 10/10z not overpowered by the rum taste as is the case with many rum cakes I've tried. We were told the dessert is baked daily on the premises and it definitely tasted like it! The service was good! Our waitress was knowledgeable, nice and attentive! Definitely top tier service! And the ambience was perfect for a date. Dim lighting and great music but too over powering. Very fun bar! Gave off the impression of an old mining saloon back in the day. I would recommend making a reservation as it seemed like there was a bit of a wait for anyone that didn't have one. We arrived around 7pm and were immediately seated. Our server was super friendly and down to earth and the service throughout the meal was outstanding! For drinks, we got the bacon old fashioned (not much of a bacon flavor but still good), gin mules which were nice and light, and the orange crush which wasn't too sweet. We started with the duck egg rolls (4 half pieces per order) and the squash fries! Both were very good. Make sure you mix up the sauce for the fries as the top layer is olive oil and the flavor is at the bottom! For entrees we got the Diablo bowl, pork chop, basil salmon and beet salad with blackened salmon! Everything was delicious!! We ended the night with cherry pie and rum cake...which is handmade but the original owner everyday in her house. Rum cake was amazing and a must try! 100% would recommend coming here for dinner or at least a cocktail at the bar! read more

My husband and I worked up an appetite post hike for burgers. Floradora has an awesome looking menu so decided this was the burger spot. Everything is to go and we were able to eat just outside the saloon in the closed off street area. We started with a pineapple Moscow mule and a margarita. Both were excellent examples of their respective cocktails. I ordered the tofu and quinoa veggie burger. It was topped with squash, avo, lettuce, tomato, pickle and lemon aioli. There was just a little too much happening and the patty itself was overly large and didn't offer much flavor. I ended up eating most of the veggies and taking out about half of the patty. The side of sweet potato chips were fantastic. Light and crispy with a hit of salt, I ate them all and the crumbs. The hubs got a beef burger with mushrooms. He also got a side of fries which were so good. They were thin and crispy but also perfectly tender inside as well. I snitched a few off his plate. He thought it was one of the best burgers he's had in a while. The customer service was awesome and the woman who took our order and brought it to our table was really nice. read more
