In the mean time, it's trash night, they moved my trash cans from my property to get the car. None of this would had been a big deal if they would had at least put my property back rather than leaving it how they did it for something that had nothing to do with me and my property. Additionally, the driver apparently isn't suitable for this type of job because he had to get another neighbor help him move the vehicle as well - and not the neighbor whos property it's on. It's all recorded on my security cameras.

I bought a 2012 Honda Civic on June 3, 2012. (1). First thing that happened: on dashboard light…read morewas flashing about a tire sensor. They did send the car to Goodyear and they fixed the issue. (2)second time I carried it back and told the office that it was dying on me when I would turn a corner. The mechanic said there was no problem because I just didn't hsve the key inserted properly. (3) third time I carried it back I told them that when I like stopped at a stop sign then start to go forward, it would hesitate then this BIG SURGE forward would happen. It would scare me. The mechanic said "well, the engine light does not come on so maybe you need to use a higher grade of gasoline." So, I go to Polk's and fill up on their most expensive grade the had and spent close to $50 filling up because I was going to Mobile to my sons for the 4th of July. (4th issue) When I got to Mobile, and got out of the car, my grandson was at the door to greet me and he said "NANNY, there 's smoke billowing out from under the hood of your car." It scared the heck out of us both and when I let it cool off, it would not crank. My grandson had to bring me back to Long Beach because I had appointments the next day. Because the car wouldn't start, Chuck Ryan had to go get the car in Mobile and bring it back to Long Beach. I didn't hear from them yesterday after they got the car and so far today (June 7th) I haven't heard from them as to what they are going to do about the car By the way, I told them I didn't want the car and could I have a refund. I paid $2000 down and made one $450 payment. One of the managers named Kelly said they didn't give refunds, but they own the company, so I would think they could if they wanted to. The selling process that CarMax has is great, very straightforward and easy. I would always consider them if I ever have another car to sell. I sold my Benz to this location and bought a 2019 BMW 530i at this location. The BMW upon the test drive and initial look of it seemed in good condition, 1 previous owner, low miles etc so we decided to move forward with the purchase. THANK GOD they have a great 90-day/4,000 mile warranty upon purchasing any car from CarMax because come to find out after taking my car to the BMW dealer there was $11,000 worth of issues with this car. The most dangerous one was that there were 2 faulty ENGINE MOUNTS!!!! Now CarMax claims they do an 120 point inspection on every single car prior to putting them on the showroom floor and it obviously was not the truth with this car. There were so many huge issues with this car that it was dangerous to drive upon purchase. But it was sold anyway. I had to take off work to come bring the car back and I had to get a loaner car from them to drive while this car was being serviced. The first car they offered me was dirty in the interior and needed an oil change. I had to point out the obvious "oil change needed" light that came on upon almost driving that car off their lot. They apologized and gave me another better car. They had my BMW FOR 3 WEEKS. Finally got my car back and STILL one error message is coming up on my dashboard and I had to again take time out of my day to take the car BACK up there for them to let me sit there for an hour - to say that they were able to fix it... got in the car - STILL NOT FIXED. Now I have to go BACK TO BMW.... Waiting on that appointment this week. I will say that the service rep Mia and the Manager Jay were and are both very nice and helpful and are doing their best to resolve the situation but CarMax really disappointed me and put me in a position to drive a dangerous car which should've never happened.
