This is a super fun place with a lively atmosphere, friendly people both working and hanging out there, and karaoke (at least the night I was there last Winter). I drank a beer or two, sung an Elvis song on the karaoke and bowled a below average game, but had a very warm time inside while old man winter settled in outsid. read more

The owner made my 17 year old niece feel very uncomfortable. Lots of intoxicated people cackling like hyenas outside, not a bowling alley but more of a nightclub/bar. And not a fun one, strange people, atmosphere, and owner. The lanes are awful, as is everything else related to the bowling aspect of the business. The 'psychedlic vibes' don't work here. Go anywhere else. read more

Nevermind the fact they don't oil or treat their lanes in any way whatsoever (hardly a bowling alley), but this place is a tweaker Palace. They play loud, grating, bass heavy music until 2am 7 nights a week and ruin the peace in an otherwise tranquil and beautiful town, with plenty of more tasteful nightlife options to give your time and attention that do things right. The owner has been too high to formulate a coherent sentence every time I've gone in (which I'll never do again). Good luck having a conversation in there. If you like to take drugs to the point of total incoherence, stare at seizure-inducing lights and drool on yourself, this might be the place for you. The bowling balls were terrible, the lanes were always breaking. Spent most of our time waiting for the guy to fix the lane. Not exactly the best bowling experience. The lanes were also not very oiled and the balls would just turn and roll random directions. Definitely would save your money for something else. read more

I love all the great changes to the Glacier Lanes Bowling Alley in Columbia Falls! Such a family friendly and FUN place to go! I love the outdoor seating, games, super cool antique bus and friendly atmosphere. The inside has been completely renovated including a stage which houses a ping pong table when there's not local musicians performing, not to mention the amazing bowling lanes! We are a family of four and love this place! It might not be for everyone, since it hasn't had many upgrades over the years (it does have automatic scoring and video screens). However, that's what we like about it. The people are friendly and the place isn't usually very crowded. They've always been good about reserving lanes if we've asked them to. This is the 1st time in years i have come to this bowling ally, and i will NOT be back. The older lady at the front desk is so rude. She is in customer service and has no customer service skills AT ALL. My 14 year old son went to get change, she assumed he wanted a soda cup and said "Didn't you just buy 4? ". .... he just needed quarters. Plus, this is a business and wouldn't more drinks equal more money? She was terrible from the start, this business would be much better without her. Doesn't need to be fancy to be a great place to go, but it does need friendly employees. read more

Took the family here on a rainy day that ruined hiking plans to go bowling. It was definitely a fun experience that we'll log away as a "I can't believe we didn't turn around and walk out" experience. The lanes are old. There's no sugar coating it. They don't work well. We had to switch lanes multiple times because of technical difficulties. The lady working likely won't be winning any awards for customer service anytime soon, but the lanes are located in an old, small-town casino, so not much can be expected. She was helpful enough. They've got a metal roller for kids to use to help them bowl straight, and the lady swore she had kids bowl better than adults using it, but we couldn't get it to line up straight for the life of us. It was fun though. Fortunately we were the only people on the bowling lanes so we could change lanes when ours broke down. I don't think I'd go back, but we made the best of it and had fun. read more
