Okay! I Yelp'd "diner" in Whitefish, MT and I can tell you having been to all of the places that popped up and most are not diners by any traditional definition. Sadly! This place is a recreation center and family oriented: among their offerings are: a laundromat and a diner! Yup a genuine diner! The food is classic diner fare, yeah! The service is classic diner too. Our waitperson (I imagine she would prefer the term waitress) has worked here for more than 40 years! Now, we're talking real American Diner! Unfortunately, a couple times now we had to leave when Dawn was working because she smells heavy of cigarette smoke, which ruins the dining experience. The last time we tried going, she smelled like smoke again. We tried to tolerate it, but we noticed after she came in from outside, she did not even wash her hands before serving us. The lack of hygiene and sanitation is a deal breaker. I appreciate your follow up for the earlier event. We tried coming in again several days ago. However, Dawn was serving that morning and once again, smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. So we left again. But I don't want to eat ribs and wings for every meal - but the food is so damn good that's exactly what happens. These wings are spectacular. Super model level in terms of size and taste. My husband and I took our grandson bowling. There were only four people bowling when we went. The lightest ball fir a child is # 8. We also had the bumper that comes up on either side to keep the bowling ball from going in the alley. There is also a large plastic looking slide for kids to roll the bowling ball down to hit the pins. We'll my grandson did such a good job he beat my husband The have a casino, pool table, bar and restaurant next door. The place looked clean, we never had a chance to try the food. read more

Mangers and bosses are dehumanizing. The lanes are constantly breaking also so pricey ended up paying $100 just about for one hour. most of the staffing is rude when it comes to the bowling alley.. The restaurant, there are very few good servers, they treat there employees poorly from what Ive heard. They are never fully staffed when it comes to the restaurant and Ive alway wondered why until I found out management had a big play in it! Save your money and go to glacier lanes or grizzly lanes! read more

Was looking for a home style place to eat in the area,, just happened by this place, met by friendly young lady when we entered was nice since we were driving and sightseeing all over the area, my wife ordered a steak and mashed potatoes, it came out hot and she thought it was awesome , there was lots on her plate and she did what she never does,, cleared the plate said it was terrific, I had a clubhouse on sourdough bread and the bacon with the turkey was one of the best sandwiches i have had. Went on a Saturday night, during winter, with friends and kids. This place was packed! Normally, I would have left, but we were greeted by the "Flathead Dude," rockin' his Pendleton Westerly. I had no choice but to say to him 'The Dude Abides,' because he was totally abiding in all possible ways. The line seemed unusually long for a bowling ally, but as our turn arrived, we found out why--the employees were trying to find every possible way to accommodate the evening bowlers, while also juggling birthday parties and prearranged events. Long story short, we were on a lane within 10 minutes. The setting was perfect--disco lights flashing, shoes glowing, and that all-to-satisfying sound of pins being smashed by the bowling balls. The line for the bar was long, but with the wait--3 bartenders were working their tails off filling pitchers, mixing cocktails, and delivering food. Long story short, the crew at pin & cue worked to accommodate all within the perimeters they had. Worth going to on busy nights, even if you hate crowds. read more

Amber was such a great waitress. She took excellent care of our group of 7. The poutine tots were the best part of the whole meal. All of the food is quite big so easy to share with someone. Took my family there and the stuff that was there was rude. Our lane had broke a total of three times and when we went up for the second time he was rude and said "again, fine i'll go get it for you" I had asked for a refund on our remaining time because it just kept breaking and he didn't give us more time, nor did he give me the money back we had to wait for him to fix the lane. read more

Came here on our way into Kalispell for breakfast. Ample parking and lots of room to sit. We were greeted after selecting our own seat and the drink order was taken. They have good coffee which is a plus. I had one biscuit and gravy, hubby had the biscuit and gravy meal and our friend had a pancake. The biscuits and gravy were very good with nice hunks of sausage in it with a good soft biscuit. My husband's came with eggs and sausage which almost looked like a bratwurst it was so big but he said it was great. Our friends pancake was huge now we know why he only ordered one!! Good coffee, food and service for breakfast and it was a clean restaurant to boot. We'd come back for breakfast and maybe to try out their lunch or dinner the menu looked appealing. read more

Looking for a lunch spot and after seeing the crowds and wait times downtown we found this restaurant. Nice as we go in and they said sit anywhere. Our server immediately asked for drink orders. I ordered the Buffalo wings. They were great 5 stars and just enough spice. I ha the burger with pepper jack cheese and all the goodies. They came with hot fries. 4 star for sure. My wife had the turkey sandwich with gravy. If was not hot. She asked to reheat but still not hot. About 2 stars on that one. Service was great. Super clean and following covid protocols. read more

The place is ok and bowling is always fun. Just too bad that the Manager Mike, was not polite or understanding. Before our group game was over, the hour was up and when I went to renew it they were careless and we lost all our scores. It was all gone to waste. Mike did not even apologize for h it a mistake or compensate us in any way. I just find that the managers don't really have any empathy with his customers. All he has to do is have the decency to apologize and understand the frustration. After all it's about having customers happy and wanting to feel considered. The service is very welcoming in all areas, the laundromat is kept very clean as well as everywhere else and everything is reasonably priced. I have been to Pin and Cue many times. It's older bowling alley but such a good value! We had my daughters 17th birthday party there. The staff goes above and beyond to help you. We ordered pizza from the kitchen and found the pizzas were really good. The kids had a great time bowling. I was able to decorate the lane for her special day. The employees worked hard even helping us clean up. I brought a birthday cake in and they were fine with it. Great place to have a party and the staff go above and beyond. For two large pizzas, soda and 8 kids bowling it was about $100...great value! read more

I thought it was cool with neon lights but they charge bowling by the hour not the game. I had a family of five and had 1 1/2 frames left and time was up so we didn't get to finish the game. When we turned in our shoes they didn't offer to give us just a few more minutes to finish, nothin just a thanks and have a nice day. Was told they "couldn't" do something when I've asked and it's been done before. They're too lazy to do things. Food with either be bland or give you food poisoning. I stopped by here recently with my wife and her parents for our morning coffee. We had driven past the Pin and Brew a few times before and thought that it looked interesting. My wife and her parents were confused by the name of this place until I pointed out that it sat outside of a bowling and pool place named Pin and Cue and so was a play on that name. In any case the Pin and Brew was a coffee shack with 2 drive through windows which were being worked by 2 baristas. On this day I went with my usual drink which happened to be a 24 oz Americano with an extra shot. Usually I also order a splash of cream with it and tried to do so here as well. Unfortunately I ended up with both cream and sugar (my wife told me I did agree to the sugar) due to my apparently not paying attention. Since I always let my coffee cook a bit before drinking it we were already pretty far away by the time I had noticed this. Even with the sugar, which I was surprised had been done with a light hand, I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee. It seemed like a lighter roast and thus was lighter on the flavor than most coffee I was used. The bottom line for me is that I probably wouldn't head to the Pin and Brew again in the future. While there wasn't anything wrong with my coffee I tend to like a stronger and darker roast which I did not get here. read more

Combos you choose how your eggs are done, diced potatoes or crispy hash browns, choice of bread for toast or English muffin (gluten free available). I love corn beef hash and it was good.
