Cannoli after his vet visit :)
    Amber M.

Just started taking my cat, Cannoli, here. This is by far the friendliest vet in Frederick, and I would know after trying many and being disappointed in them. I love that they also have a welcoming committee: two super friendly kitties, Nick and Sprinkles. They made waiting enjoyable. I took my cat in with a specific concern, and the vet staff took me seriously and immediately addressed my worries with compassion and appropriate urgency. I was grateful that they allowed me to stay in the room as they drew his blood, aspirated a cyst, and drew a urine sample. As a nurse it is important to me that these procedures are done safely and properly. The whole team absolutely knocked it out of the park. They had answers for me quickly and I felt very reassured by their confidence and rationales. They have restored my confidence and desire to take my cats in more frequently for exams as they continue to age into wonderful senior kitty life. The best part was Cannoli seemed so calm during the entire visit. He is normally terrified of the vet and pees from nervousness. The team was so sweet and calming for him. He sprawled out on the exam table like a fat happy cat and did not really seem bothered by the whole ordeal. Thank you so much, Glade Valley team!

Lara dog doing great contrary to your recommendations!

It's been nearly 4 months since your doctor tried to bully us into putting our greyhound down, which was counter to two other opinions we obtained. Since that time, she has gained nearly 7 pounds since her surgery that your doctor recommended and her UTI. We shared a video with your office, where she is clearly happy and healthy. She had arthritis rather than a neurological condition, which your vet tried to push. Adequan, which your vet would not prescribe, has worked wonders. I hope no other pet or pet owner has to experience your care and how you made us feel.

We absolutely love Glade Valley!! Dr. Krammer is fantastic, knowledgeable, and down to earth -- and both my puppies are always SO EXCITED to go to the vet, which is weird and hilarious. All the staff is super friendly, and they accommodate my dogmom overprotective tendencies without any fuss at all. I will be a loyal patient here as long as we live in the area!! Highly recommend them to everyone.

It was easy to schedule a "meet and greet" with Amy and Andrew, who are visiting our two dogs (a quiet 9-year old and a 5-year old with attitude; both sighthounds) about 3 times a week. Since then Amy and Andrew have taken care of our pups for the past month or so. They are both responsible and have the kind of calm personality that all dogs feel comfortable being around. They've followed all our instructions, provided very detailed updates and pictures, and taken good care of our doggies. So far I am very pleased with the service. We love our dogs like children and feel good about entrusting Amy and Andrew with their care.

Kat was reliable, efficient, and immediately struck up a trusting connection with our 'boys'. It was challenging work for her, because she had to administer an inhaler treatment twice a day to one of the cats, Marlow, despite not having known him before. She did an absolutely wonderful job. He was actually in better shape and coughing less, after we came home than before we left. Both cats looked happy and relaxed. The cat area was left clean and tidy. I will look no further next time we need cat care. We also loved the photos and updates we got each day....it helped us relax much better while away!

Happily paid for any and all that was recommended. Even when Dr.Wilson removed what he said was a tumor from my then 4 year old chihuahua and it turned out it was a healthy, normal salivary gland. We didn't get angry or argue having to pay for what turned out to be a completely unnecessary surgery. We accepted that doctors are human too and moved on. We put our trust in them, gave them respect and never questioned their recommendations. We spent tens of thousands of dollars there. We sent them gifts in appreciation. And in return some of them have treated us like garbage. We had an issue with their groomer, Amy. My dog was injured during grooming(per their report)but again we weren't angry at the time or blaming. We figured those things happen sometimes. But her response was to completely shut down and refuse to give any information that could help treat my dog. Over the next few months, my dog had to have her toe removed. And still the management staff and groomer treated us like we had done something wrong! Again we never blamed, never asked for compensation, we simply said because Amy wouldn't communicate we didn't want to use her as a groomer. From that point many of the staff was cold and at times out right rude to me. When we finally expressed unhappiness with the treatment and handling of things the office manger, Marney made it clear our continued business was not wanted. They were happy to let a client of over 15 years leave because they prioritized their groomers ego over a long term client

Everyone was incredibly welcoming to a Mom that has not ever done this before and may be a bit of a worrier. I can honestly say that my boy will not ever go anywhere else! The peace of mind and reasonable prices were invaluable. Thank you so much Belquest Grooming, you are very appreciated!

No real issues with boarding, they seem to come back happy and everyone seems nice. My issue was that I agreed to them both being given a bath prior to pickup, which was heavily pushed (I suppose as a way to offset the "second dog boarded for half price" discount). They were given a bath and a nail trim before pickup and as soon as I got in the car, I noticed that my pug was bleeding everywhere -- two nails were cut WAY too short and bled for over an hour. We had to wrap her foot, as it wouldn't stop on it's own. I understand that these things happen on occasion, but no one bothered to mention it to me and I find it hard to believe that that amount of blood wasn't noticed. If they were in a hurry or the dog was too excited, I would have preferred that they forgo the nail trim altogether, as I never even asked for it. So, would recommend for boarding -- not so much for grooming (or nail trimming, at least).
