I hired them to "wall mount a few TVs and hook up my receiver" in my new apartment and Doron came in with much better ideas - "why not do all new speakers in the ceiling?" This made me excited but also skeptical - is this the classic upsell? But no, all of the prices were extremely reasonable, the work went smoothly with excellent communication, and when there were hiccups with the TV hookups (Verizon FIOS network clashed with my home mesh internet system and provided a huge headache), Doron and Jonathan put in the extra time to make sure everything was perfect and never thought twice about it, at no extra charge to me. I hired them for an add-on project to install a TV on my roof, which was a fun AV/construction puzzle that they solved beautifully. It's really clear these guys know what they're doing and care deeply about delivering a fantastic product. These guys know what they are doing!…read more I recently decided to connect the pre-installed(but never hooked up to an amp or smart system), integrated speakers, hang and connect a TV and also needed to upgrade the interwebz, at the crib because it as extremely slow and spotty (some areas would not get wifi at all since it's the building is old and made of brick.) So after consulting the internet the internet I called ExpertTech Inc. and some other firms. What came next blew my mind (in a good way), not only did Doron (the owner, and all round very nice guy) get back to me immediately, but he came over the same day to do the visual assessment. I had and itemized estimate the very next morning! Boom! How about that for speed? I scheduled the installation for the next week, when all the necessary components were scheduled to arrive. Installation was also a breeze! At least Marston and Brandon, a two man installation Team Machine, made it seem that way. The first day was spent, calibrating all the necessary CAT-6 ports and setting up the server rack and internet. The second day was spent setting up the sound system. And this is were they really shined. Apparently the speakers (installed by someone else, not these consummate and dedicated pros) had been wired wrong, At this point I was afraid the whole endeavour would go down the drain, but fear not, ExpertTech stepped up to the plate! After checking one ceiling speaker they realized they could remedy the whole situation by going in and taking every speaker out of the ceiling and rewiring them. This is not an easy task with high ceilings and it proved to be time consuming, but these guys never even broke a step and handled it like champs, they even stayed late until the job was done. (Who in NYC does that? Nobody, except ExpertTech! Faith in Humanity restored, am I Rite'?) Anyway, after setting up the speakers, they cleaned up and and walked me through the setup and how to use it. Then they left. And were it not for the moronic massive smile on my face when I cranked up some tunes and surfed for cat pics on the blazing fast Wireless (up from an average time of 30 Mbps to now around 240-300 Mpbs not even kidding, I almost shed a tear, when I later streamed a movie in full HD, in BED, something I had not been able to do before) I would have never even known they were there. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough. This is one of those no brainers. Just go ahead and call them. Btw, the other company called two weeks after they installed everything, let's call them comapny FU Client, and they said they would be available a week after that.... so yeah... Don't even bother, just call ExperTech. I didn't regret it!!!

He created an outlet for behind the tv and the only thing I had to do was lift the tv into the mount with him. He even cleaned up after himself. I was so impressed with his work I had him come back a few days later to install 6 recessed lights in my family room and install 2 lights in closets. He spackled whatever holes he made and I just had to sand it and paint which was no big deal as the holes were rather small. Daren came out to my home and listened attentively to my needs and ordered the appropriate equipment. We scheduled the installation and he went to work installing four cameras that enable me to view my first floor and back yard on my iPhone. When he was done, he left our home clean -- plaster swept up and wires cable tied. He also gave me detailed instructions for installing the app on my computer at work. Last week (Feb. 2020) was the first time I had an issue with the system and it was due to a router problem -- not the security system itself. Daren responded to my email inquiry within a few hours, scheduled a visit, came to my home on-time and resolved the issue.
