Friendly Service with a Generous Side The folks at Gladys specialize in serving the locals with a smile. The coffee is what you expect from your local donut shop, a solid standard the complements the fried sugary bits of goodless we look for in the morning. The price and variety caters to the neighborhood. They have small versions of apple fritters and cinnamon rolls so that you can get them in a $6.00 mixed dozen. If you need to grab a dozen to bring to work and Gladys is on your way or if you have to visit the DMV (across the street) then give Gladys a try to see if these donuts will bring a smile to your morning face.

Hotdogs are not "sausage links" and should not be advertised as such for breakfast sandwiches.

Same here just as other shops! The coffee sucks, but everything else is great! Buttermilk with chocolate icing was nice and crispy!

The seasonal drinks are just as divine and inspired by California seasonal offerings. I have managed 3 donut shops in my lifetime and make donuts for fun at home, so to say I'm a donut enthusiast would be an understatement. I know a good donut when I have one and these are spectacular. You can taste that everything is homemade in house and it truly makes a difference. The decor is always cute and the staff are always friendly. Though their regular/non-rotating donut flavors are just as good (the butter pecan, plain, chocolate glazed and bumbleberry), if I'm making the drive all the way out here, I prioritize their monthly flavors first. Next time you find yourself in the OC area, swing by and grab a dozen or two to share with friends.

Amazing bakery in the Fullerton area! Everything I had here was good and delicious…read more There were so many unique and pretty pastries to choose from from cakes to croissants. I got so many pastries. There were no misses. My favorite of the bunch was the blueberry cake. The cake wasn't too sweet, was moist, fluffy, and tasty. I enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, garlic sea salt bread, and raspberry cruffin as well. I also grabbed an egg bacon bread and regular sea salt bread to-go for future breakfasts. Warmed up, these were great in the morning! To drink I had the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was not too sweet and yummy! Good matcha flavor and the banana pudding was creamy. Mixed together, it was good. I also enjoyed the crunchy bits in there as well as the real banana slices. I got it at the small size, but the portion was generous. It went well with the pastries. There's some inside seating and tables as well as a bathroom available. There is lots of free parking around the bakery. I went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was still packed! I love how the bakers were constantly baking even in the afternoon, so they brought out fresh batches of their pastries. Overall, a great bakery and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Fullerton area.

The chocolate ganache cake was not really my cup of tea, but I think that's my own personal preference. It was bitter, which I know ganache can be sometimes. I also tried their cookie croissant, which was decent, but the croissant was pretty hard. The bakery is super cute though. I do want to try their pastries, but was disappointed with the few items I got sadly.

I must admit, I was lured over by someone else's photo here on Yelp of a blueberry donut, so thank you for that ;) It was mid-morning when I arrived, so the cases reflected that the most popular items had been snatched up by the early birds, but there were still plenty of donuts and bagels to choose from. Best of all, there were still blueberry cake donuts to be had!! Donuts are similar to potato chips in that you can't just get one. I also ended up with a maple old fashioned and a raised that was dipped in maple glaze and further adorned with Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal. I'm saving the old fashioned for tomorrow (I figure of the 3, this one will do best on the second day). The blueberry cake with blueberry glaze was perfect with my morning coffee ~ I'd definitely pair these two together again! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch raised was light and fluffy, the cereal giving it a nice added crunch, and it was a much appreciated afternoon treat. The girl working the front of the store was very friendly and didn't look at me funny as I started snapping pics of the shop to go along with my review. When she finished my transaction, she went over to finish chatting with a customer. When I noticed a few ceramic coffee mugs hanging on the wall, I asked if they belonged to their regular customers. Indeed they were, one of whom she happened to be chatting with. Gotta love that! I left Donut Chain not just pleased to have scored a blueberry glazed donut, but also happy to witness the genuine, easygoing rapport that the employee and customer were enjoying.
