There's a reason why this place gets so much hype, and it's probably because most of their donuts are made fresh to order, and the creativity of these donuts are top notch! My friends and I wanted to try a variety, so we got 8 different kinds, and did a taste test of our own at home. We got the: bumbleberry glazed, banoffee, butter pecan, Harry's berry strawberry glazed, ricotta and apricot jam, and PBJ. We also added a bonus savory pizza one. Oliboli is popular for their sourdough donuts, which is similar to the Cambodian-style fluffy donuts. As someone who prefers cake donuts, I did find them to be really fluffy, delicious, and light! Of the 8 sweet ones we tried, my top favorites had to be the butter pecan and banoffee. The butter pecan was a sweet and salty flavor, and the banoffee had strong flavors of banana and coffee. The rest were all on the overly sweet side for me, but the fluffiness kind of balances out the sweetness? The bonus pizza one was also a huge favorite of mine! It was kind of like a fluffy hot pocket, but tasted perfect and not too salty. Each donut was about $5-8, and the pizza one was about $13. It does seem pretty pricey for donuts, but they are novelty donuts, so it makes sense.
Went here for breakfast with my husband because I was CRAVING these donuts. I love how they are sourdough base so they don't feel heavy and/or cakey like a regular donut. I would say to double check their website to check the flavors they have, especially if you are looking for a specific one. Overall I would come back here - I enjoy their donuts
Insane donuts these are definitely one of a kind donuts. Top ranking for us was definitely the sprinkle donut but runner up has to be the classic glazed donut. The chocolate donut is not very sweet but it tastes very luxurious. I was really surprised with how fast they came out with how many people were inside ordering and waiting for their donuts. They come out PIPING HOT don't use those plastic forks if you're trying to sneak a bite they will melt We decided to wait till we got back to the house 10 mins away and they were still warm paired with some milk omg it was a perfect way to end our night There's plenty of parking outside and the crowds come and go don't be intimidated just go try Oliboli
I used to live in this area and was in town so I decided to stop by. It's a small place with cut decor. The staff member that helped me was sweet and very helpful. There were several I wanted to try. I guess these donuts are made with sourdough and are fried to order. Bumbleberry: it's really goods you can taste the berries that had a bit of tang to it which balances everything out. 4.75 stars Bananoffee: I love bananas. This kinda reminds me of banana pudding. It was good but the whipped topping was a bit much for me. Still very tasty though. 4 stars Both donuts were still warm and airy. I've never had such an airy fresh donut. Quite different and delicious. I'm definitely coming back when I'm back in town.

Every donut is fried to order so they come out fresh, warm, and so delicious! The donuts range from about $5.50 to $7 each - pricier than your average donut shop but the quality is evident in every bite. We waited about 8-10 minutes after ordering since there were a few people ahead of us, but the fresh-to-order experience made the wait worthwhile. My favorite was the Butter Pecan (not a flavor I'd normally choose). It had great flavor/texture and even had a hint of saltiness at the end of each bite . The Strawberry Glaze made with Harry's strawberries was another standout; fresh-tasting and flavorful without any artificial sweetness. Parking is shared with neighboring businesses. We visited on a Friday afternoon and had no trouble finding a spot, but the lot is fairly small and will likely get crowded during peak hours and weekends.
OLiBOLi The BEST of the BEST Donuts--ever! The staff members are pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The price reflects the high quality, taste, and presentation. It's made to order. Try it for yourself but be prepared to get addicted. I guarantee you will keep coming back for more--promise!!!!!
Super bummed about Oliboli. Got the banana, cinnamon sugar and maple. Basically these things all seem like the same base and they put different glazes on them. They are kind of just big, firm, bready donuts. And the proportion of dough is way off with the tiny bit of glaze they put on each. And I could not taste the maple or banana.... so really faint flavors here. It's a monotonous thing to eat. Is there something I'm not getting here? Anyway Sidecar and The Goods are leaps and bounds better.
As someone who lives nearby, this spot satisfies the craving of a sweet tooth. Absolutely has to be eaten fresh. Great service in a friendly store front. There are seats indoor and outdoor, pets welcome I think... I bring mine. Must try! Community favorite. Not your average donut so don't expect average donut prices.
Kept seeing this place all over my social media. It's a bit far for me but when I had an appointment nearby, I knew I had to stop by. I ended up getting 6 to try and didn't mind waiting while they made it fresh. I like that concept ALOT. Oh and they did not disappoint. I sat there and literally took a bite of each one because I couldn't wait. How can one resist hot donuts? I can't remember what flavors I got but it doesn't matter because they were ALL DELICIOUS. I did not want to bring them home to share with my kiddos. I thought of many plots to hide it from them. I think about these donuts. Dream. Good thing they're a bit far for me...to go all the time!

This might be my new favorite doughnut spot! I saw this place listed as one of the top donut shops in Orange County, so I had to see for myself. The inside was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. I've heard the lines can get long, but we came on a saturday morning and there was barely a wait. They had a good selection of donuts with flavors for everyone. Service was quick and efficient with no complaints. The donuts are fried to order and honestly came out way faster than expected. We also grabbed coffee, I got the maple shaken espresso and it was really good. Strong coffee flavor, creamy, and not overly sweet. Now for the best part... the donuts! They were hot and pillowy soft just melted in your mouth! My favorite was the strawberry glazed, sooo good! If you're in Tustin, I'd say this is one of the best donut spots in the area!
Donuts are one of my favorite pleasures in life. This place, discovered accidentally while out for other responsibilities in the area, was a delight. The delicious donuts did have a clean, fresh taste - and they did make them once we'd ordered, so very fresh. Light, cheery, and clean ambiance with tables inside and a few outside. Great selection of donuts! I ordered a cinnamon sugar and a glazed. My husband ordered the cardamom bun and bambleberry (I think that's what they were called). These donuts are unique, huge, and tasty! I could taste a light flavor of sourdough, which is the base dough for all the donuts. I'm not a sourdough fan, but it was so faint that it only added to the flavor. So that worked. We ate two served warm. The other two we ate later in the day, and they tasted great at room temperature, too. This is a great donut place. Creative and excellent.

Yummmmmmy donuts! This is not your typical donut. This is an elevated take on the humble donut. It is a bit pricey, but makes sense for the effort that was put into these donuts. The texture is amazing! These donuts are made to order, so you'll have to wait a bit. But they are served warm and oh-so-good. The donut itself is fluffy and warm and almost flaky? It feels like eating a really delicious donut/fluffy bread hybrid. What a unique dough! The glazes are great too. It'll come down to which flavors you enjoy the most as they are all tasty. I had the lemon glazed one which was great, but I did want a punchier lemon flavor. I ended up really enjoying the chocolate donut (which checks out for me cuz I'm a chocoholic) and my husband loved the strawberry one. Great donuts! Wouldn't get it all the time since it's a bit of a splurge and they're quite large, but I'd definitely get some again! read more

I wished I lived closer to Oliboli Donuts as they have the freshest yeast donuts in Orange County. Personally, I'm a cake donut kind of girl, but the fluffiness and deliciousness of Oliboli's sourdough yeast donuts have me rethinking my allegiance to cake donuts. We came on a Sunday afternoon and I was immediately drawn to their case of yummy and aesthetically pleasing looking donuts. I ended up going with the "Bumbleberry Glazed" ($5.50) which is a combination of blueberry, blackberry and raspberry glaze atop of their 40 hour fermented sourdough yeast donut. Their donuts are fried to order so mine arrived perfectly warm and is definitely one of the best yeast donuts I've ever had. Service is friendly, and the shop is clean with ample amount of indoor and some outdoor seating so you can enjoy your donut right then and there. I can't wait to come back to try more of their other flavors! read more
Loved the hot, made fresh donuts!! This is a family owned business and they care about their donuts. Made when you order them and they are soft, just chewy, packed with flavor and served hot. What a treat! The staff gladly answer questions. They smile and are friendly and you can tell they care and have fabulous customer service. It's easy to get to in downtown old Tustin area off of First street. Plenty of parking. Seating inside or on patio. Clean and inviting wherever you choose to sit and enjoy! read more
Not a huge donut fan but I had to try this place out cause I happened to pass by. Drawn by the lingering smell coming through the door, I was lured in. The store was very clean and welcoming. I was recommended to try their Butter Pecan donut and it was delicious. I expected it to be overly sweet, but the saltiness balanced it out. Despite all the donuts being made to order, they were able to get it out fast. If I plan to be in the area again, I will make sure to make a visit. read more
I'm a lucky girl that some people gifted me a box of Oliboli donuts this morning for a meeting! They were coming down from OC and surprised me with the store's box of 6 plus bought the seasonal guava cream one as well. I thought i heard on IG that someone from Sidecar Donuts opened Oliboli? I am not a fan of yeast based donuts as they tend to be dry after a few hours. The donuts at Oliboli are sourdough yes? And they definitely had a different 'chew' to them (in a good way). Box includes 1 of each: Chocolate Glazed, Rainbow Sprinkle, Guava Glazed, Meyer Lemon, Sugar, Raspberry Lychee I was told the donuts were hot and fresh when picked up but cooled when they got to San Diego. I still ate tried them as quickly as possible though! And now have the biggest stomach ache from all the sugar (again, I'm a lucky girl to have all 7 donuts to myself). My thoughts of the ones in box of 6: Chocolate : really liked the semi sweet/darker chocolate as it wasn't too sweet and the glaze was thicker Rainbow sprinkle : just ok Guava glazed: the glaze really was great and tasted of legit guava Meyer lemon: just ok Sugar: dry as it was just standard sugar on donut (I think it kinda melts some of the sugar when it was hot) Raspberry Lychee: liked the glaze as it was fun surprise to really taste the lychee! Guava Cream Cheese (I think $7.75?) Guava glaze, guava pudding, whipped cream cheese, guava drizzle, coconut streusel : THIS donut was my favorite !! The whipped topping was truly a delight and tasted fresh and fluffy. This was a substantial donut that I felt was worth the dollar amount (compared to others) The fried donut base of all the donuts was consistent and pretty much the same. It does feel pretty heavy in the stomach but then again, I did try all 7 donuts in a span of two hours (don't judge). I have a feeling they won't be good the next day hence why I wanted to give into the gluttony of trying them all as fresh as possible. Would i drive all the way to Tustin from SD for these donuts? Probably not. Would I go visit them if I was in Tustin - yes, depending on the flavors. Would I be happy if Sidecar had their same dough and flavors on their own menu - YESSSsS! So excited to have finally tried this donut place. The place is super cute and the vibes is bright and light. Each person working was friendly and pleasant when asking my annoying questions. I got the ricotta and jam donut, the Meyer lemon donut, and the banoffe. Each donut is made to order, where do you get that kind of freshness from a donut shop?! The dough is so damn light, fluffy and all the ingredients taste so fresh and interesting for me to say..healthy? Best donuts everrrr. Sourdough yeast, light and fluffy and way too easy to eat. I got the maple and my family got chocolate, cinnamon sugar, bumbleberry and we got 1 plain. All of them are our favorite LOL. Not sure you could go wrong. Also got the strawberry matcha which was a little too sweet for us. Coffee was good though! Service was friendly and we got the donuts pretty quickly. It's little small inside but there is decent amount of seating. read more
Oliboli has long been on my list of donut spots to check out; after talking with a friend (... at the gym!), who'd shared his recent pictures, I was determined to go that day. Located in a quaint shopping center, we easily found a parking space in front (during a weekday, mid-afternoon). Unlike any other doughnut shop I've visited, I was immediately impressed with the spaciousness of this bright-&-airy shop -- more like a coffee shop than a traditional doughnut shop, with synthetic wicker chairs (24 seats inside, with a table for 2 outside), conducive for hanging out. We were fortunate to be greeted and assisted by Bailey on this 1st visit; I appreciated her positive energy and knowledge as she informed us of their sourdough donut process, explaining that the orders are prepared fresh , and introduced us to their attractive offerings in their display case. Unfortunately, not for those gluten sensitive. We ordered one of their specialties, Banoffee ($7.95) and Butter Pecan ($5.75), as well as (2) 12 oz. coffee ($4.00 each). Having a comfortable seating area is wonderful, to be able to immediately enjoy our treats with a hot cup of coffee -- the only way to go! Opening the donut box served as a sturdy, flat surface (or plate). We both appreciated the delightfully soft-&-fluffy textures, the warmth of our freshly made donuts, and the tasty flavors (appreciatively not overly sweet!). Definitely not a place in which I'd order a dozen doughnuts to share with others, but I'm eager to return to experience more of their menu items. Fun and tasty experience and find! read more

been meaning to try oliboli donuts for awhile now. usually not a huge donut person, however these have always looked appetizing. i was able to redeem my birthday discount & free bumbleberry glazed donut by joining their mailing list. thank you to hunter for being super sweet and patient while i was trying to decide. the banoffee donut reminded me of a banana cream pie! super yummy and not artificial tasting at all. i also loved the bumbleberry glazed donut. this was my first time having a donut glaze that wasn't solidified, so it was a bit unexpected for it to be runny; however, i truly loved this donut so much. the berries glaze is so yummy and i would def get both of these donuts again! read more
Ridiculously good! Glad we stopped by here after our Valentine's Day dinner with the kiddos. Sourdough donuts that are fried to order, slightly chewy, airy, light and pricey?! Half a dozen for $50...Worth it. I really liked the butter pecan, soooo good, trust me. I also tried the Meyer Lemon and Chocolate Glazed. Next time, I really want to try the Vermont Maple Glazed and the Raspberry Lychee Glazed! Best donuts hands down and I will be back! read more

Oliboli is definitely worth the hype! They make each donut fresh to order. I ordered the bumble berry glazed and it came out hot and fresh. The donut itself was light and fluffy. The glaze itself wasn't too sweet either. Wish they had more flavor options though! Service was excellent. The cashier was friendly and I received my donut within 5 minutes of ordering. There is some seating inside the store. There is also a decent amount of parking in a shared lot with other businesses. Will be returning! read more

Tried this spot out after so many good reviews and it lives up to the hype!! The donuts do come out extremely fresh (I'm saying steam) and they're humongous. I was unsure about how sourdough would taste but it's nice in how it makes the donut not too sweet. I do also wanna say it makes the dough softer too (but I'm not much of a baker to comment much on the logistics of that). I will say they are a bit pricey compared to normal donuts. The dozens of customized are paid basically à la carte so you're not saving any money and each donut can go from $5-7 per piece. Even then it's pretty worth! I'd come back and try more flavors!! read more

I have to admit, ever since I found this place I have been 3 times in one month ! These made to order donuts are phenomena! the Lemon Mayer is a 10/10 the strawberry glaze is a 9/10 and the The bumbleberry is a strong 8.75/10. Oliboli donuts are incredible! Fresh, made to order sourdough donuts that have fun and funky flavors. They have a monthly rotating menu and always come up with something new to try. They have some super sweet ones with pudding and whip cream on top, but I prefer their more simple and fruit based glazes. Tons of flavor and not too sweet. They are light and airy so if you're looking for more of a dense, cake style donut these are not it. The inside is very cute and always decorated for the season they are in. Will they ever offer gluten free options?
I called to ask if you still make a vegan treat but got forwarded to an order sight and hung up on. I have no idea if you still make a vegan donut but won't be heading there right now? 🤷🏻♀️
They typically had one vegan cake donut on the menu every time I have gone. Hope this helps :)
Does anyone know when Oliboli Donuts will have their Oliboli mini donut bites/holes? I was able to get it once (I don't remember what month) and ever since (I've been back two or three times), they always tell me it's seasonal.

Yes they are... and they are warm in the box... the most amazing donuts I've ever had!!!
Do they make their own dough?
Yes. We use a 40 hour fermentation for our dough, made from scratch in house!
Is Chai latte discontinued?
They don't have a chai donut but they do still offer chai lattes on their drink menu (not sure which you are referring to)
How's their coffee?
I had the Americano during my last visit. It was good. Doesn’t have the overextract acidity so the brew time is right. Not sure what type of beans are used, it was on the nutty side and less on the fruity. Aroma is plenty.

Can I buy them in a dozen? There's no dozen pricing online anywhere that I found.
Yes, but the price is still per donut. When you buy a dozen, you get one donut free.
Do they have olibollen (Dutch donut filled with jams)?
They call it an Olibollen. Check out the description of the donut on their website and see if it fits. I had one yesterday!

I have not seen any during my visits. I would guess they would like to establish things before they head in that direction.
Are there any vegan options here🍩?
They don't post that specifically but I know the donuts are fried in coconut oil. They are so friendly and wonderful there; definitely ask! :)
