You must try their bagel sandwiches! I had a bacon, egg & cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel. Their bangles a huge, fluffy & crispy! They give you lots of bacon and it's so crispy & delicious. These bagels are luxurious and I should have gotten two haha! But definitely do not forget about their donuts. They are so fluffy, airy, and too easy to eat. Stopped by this establishment today around 6:20am. Decided to order the New Mexico Sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bagel and a cheese croissant. New Mexico Sandwich---4/10 the toppings didn't taste fresh. Seemed like the toppings were old from the day before or several days before. Also, the jalapeño cheddar bagel itself was the most disappointing bagel I've had... Miss Donut & Bagel is located off of State College and Chapman Ave. It is easy to locate and access. Parking is decent. The entrance is located on the State College side of the shop. There seem to have been some aesthetic updates (front door and counter seating), but the heart of the place appears to be original. Everything looks clean and well maintained. The lady working when I came in was friendly and helpful. I came in specifically for a couple of bagel flavors that I'd seen posted here on Yelp. Unfortunately, those 2 are popular and by the time I got there early afternoon, they were sold out. When I asked about them, the lady confirmed that they are popular and sell out early and she recommended for me to call at 7AM to ask to reserve some. Although I didn't get the 2 I was after, I did pick up 1/2 dozen others. They are a good size! Fluffy on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside with tasty topping and inclusions. Great quality donuts. Friendly service. Clean store. However, this shop is inefficient during peak times. The line here takes forever; I've had to leave and I've seen other costumers step out of line due to the wait time. I noticed what takes so long is that each employee helping a costumer makes their bagels, rather than having one employee designated to make bagels. Their system holds up the line and it's frustrating when all you want are donuts but you have to wait on everyone's bagel to be made before you can quickly select your pre-made donuts. read more

I came in the store but decided I didn't want anything but since I didn't wanna leave empty handed I was wanting to grab a quick orange juice. The menu clearly showed it was a little over $2, so I figured why not. When I got to the register, the cashier charged me $7!! for a simple orange juice. I was caught off guard, but I didn't want to make a scene, so I went through with the purchase. Then the tipping screen popped up, and it felt like I was expected to tip on top of the already ridiculous price. In the end I paid over $7 for a basic orange juice that wasn't even good and just mid and basic! I left feeling completely scammed. Order a bacon egg and cheese on jalapeño cheese bagel! Very good breakfast bagels, muffins , and donuts. They do a great job here. Bagels are soft and perfectly chewy. Eggs are real and fresh. Bacon as well. Muffins are special too, crazy crispy muffin tops! Ambiance is funny, don't expect super friendly service. I've been coming to this shop for years! They have bagels to die for and fresh cream cheese, but how they are running their business is shameful. I went in early in the morning and bought a half dozen of bagels and donuts. The lady ringing me up seemed to be really concentrating on charging me. She looked at the total serveral times and then said, "Ya!" I couldn't see the charges because they have on an iPad and then you pay. I paid with my credit card. My total was $42.70. ***Once i was home i received a receipt to my email and I noticed two "custom amounts". One for $5.95 and another for $5.75, that's $11.70. What the? *** I don't understand what this business is trying to pull on customers? This is outrageous to charge a "custom amount" for $11.70. I cannot say enough good things about this shop! I've been a loyal customer for a couple of years now, and they never disappoint. If you are looking for a cheap, quality bagel sandwich this is the place to go! All of their bagels and pastries are made each morning, and the ingredients used in their sandwiches are fresh. You could really taste the quality! The workers are to the point, fast, and efficient! The line can sometimes get long, but they are quick with getting through all the customers (and the wait is totally worth it)! The shop is small, but there are four tables in the back and I never have an issue with finding a seat when I want to eat there. Everyone I have ever taken here has thoroughly enjoyed their meal and I go almost every other weekend! A bit of an awkward layout when you enter the door, very narrow and only a few people can be in the line. These bagels will not knock your socks off, but they get the job done. My garlic bagel was toasted a bit too long (I didn't ask for it to be toasted at all, actually) but it was still passable. The selection of different bagels was good, but they all looked a bit undercooked. The chocolate twist doughnut was fresh and I would definitely return for those.
