If I could give 10 stars, I would! She did my makeup for a wedding and was super sweet and professional. She asked me questions like what kind of look I wanted, type of skin I had (dry/oily/combo), and if I wanted a matte or dewy finish which I appreciated because she really wants to make sure you love the outcome. She had a wide range of products and colors like becca, mac, urban decay, etc. My makeup honestly lasted 17 hours through an outdoor wedding, dancing, the afterparty... and then me passing out in the hotel and waking up. Something to note is that there's a difference between looking "natural pretty" and looking good in photos. Obviously it was more makeup than I would wear everyday but I was going to an event and taking lots of pictures but I never felt like my face was caked. I only had to touch up my lip gloss once after eating. I also have eyelash extensions and she was very careful when applying my eyeshadow. I'm honestly very surprised at that one bad review and did not have that experience with Vanessa AT ALL. If that person was unhappy with how she looked, she should've said so!! You wanna make sure you get your money's worth during the appt, not stay quiet and then go complain on Yelp.
