The studio is within a beautiful and private locked (for safety) facility that requires notification to enter. It is located in a large corner mini shopping area with plenty of parking. Upon arrival , the client sends a text to gain entry. Kay comes to the door and brings you to her quaint private, very clean, bright and nicely decorated studio. After meet and greet introduction Kay goes over the process of how she will spend more time mapping and measuring to perfection before actual procedure. Her time guesstimation is pretty accurate. It was during this phase that it was evident to me that she is a very passionate perfectionist which awards her the title of "The Eyebrow Queen". My stretch marks are about 15 years old and nothing has helped improve them except ISR. Some of my deeper stretchmarks have becomes significantly less visible and some of the shallower/lighter ones have almost disseapered after 2-3 sessions. She explained to me what microblading was, what the healing process was like, and even gave me a good idea of how it would feel. She took her time measuring my face and getting the shape just right. She took my preferences into account and didn't start until I was completely satisfied with how they looked. I barely felt a thing. I got a bit worried in the middle due to my eyebrows being saturated with ink BUT TRUST THE PROCESS! In the end I have some amazing and very natural looking eyebrows. She let me ask 100 questions, before during and after. On my touch up she gave the same attention if not more. I can really tell she loves what she does, she's an artist and I will be going back for touch ups as needed to make sure to preserve her beautiful work. But about these brows! Before Shay: I have dark hair, but sparse, unshaped to my liking and never felt comfortable going make-up-less without doing my brows. Consultation: Shay drew the most beautiful shape. We talked about thickness, color and what to expect. Process: no to very low pain, why was I even worried? Lol but I was and I shouldn't have. She updated me throughout the process and showed me the progress. Day one: OMG they're dark what did I do! Panic terror almost tears (okay a little) and to be totally fair Shay told me OVER and OVER they will be darker and thicker don't worry they will fade beautifully. 3-5 days: peeling and fading OMG my brows are beautiful under that dark cast.
