I only get makeup for two reasons... photo shoots and marine balls and all for the same reason- so I'll be remembered as someone who is way prettier than I actually am! I always look dead in photos when I don't do my makeup so naturally I need help. I actually chose Carla because she was the more affordable of her competitors. I figure anyone who can do makeup would do a better job than me. Rolled the dice..... and BAMmmmm! She hit it outta the park! I was skeptical at first. She drew a rainbow of pink lines on my eyelids and and brown lines at the perimeter of my face. I'm sure it was all a part of the witchery. She asked me what colors I liked and used those... but it didn't look good. Finally she said... umm... let me choose.. leave it to me. A wave of her wand and I was ... dare I say it... pretty! When you're in your 40s, the wrinkles pop up, your thighs have doubled in size , and your belly looks like a deflated balloon, it's difficult to feel attractive. Much easier to pay this lady and feel this way in about an hour. It was extremely important to her that I actually liked the reflection in the mirror. This wasn't just a job for her. After many years and several family picture sessions I decided to hire Carla to help with my makeup. Family pictures mean a lot to me, even if I have to struggle doing my own makeup we would take our family pictures. Not this time, no struggling with makeup for me. I might be a little dramatic but I'm not great at makeup by any means, help from Carla really allowed me enjoy taking our family pictures. She was quick to respond, professional and flexible.
