I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my laser appointment package and the way I was treated by staff. I originally had an appointment scheduled for Friday, May 22. On Thursday, May 21, I received a call saying that my appointment was being canceled because something was being taken care of at the office. Then, on Thursday, May 28, I received a call saying I had an appointment scheduled for Friday, May 29 at 1:00 p.m. I immediately explained that I had not made that appointment and that 1:00 p.m. did not work for me. I was told that everyone from the previous week had been rescheduled. I explained that I could make 10:00 a.m. or reschedule for another day, but I could not make 12:00 or 1:00. I was clear that I was not available for that appointment time and would call back to reschedule as I was at work. When I called back on May 29, I was told I had been marked as a no-call/no-show and that one of my prepaid appointments would be deducted from my package. This was completely unfair. My original appointment was canceled by the office, and then I was placed into a new appointment time without my agreement. When I was called about that rescheduled appointment, I clearly said I could not attend at that time. I asked management to review the case. When I arrived for my next appointment on Friday, June 5, I asked whether management had reviewed the issue. I was told they had reached out but had not received a response. It had been a full week, and no one had followed up with me. I was again told that I would still be charged one of my appointments because they considered me a no-call/no-show. The situation became even worse when the laser technician, Yohanny came out and spoke to me rudely. She said she did not understand the problem and repeatedly made it seem as though I was at fault. During the treatment, she continued to bring up the situation, asked whether I wanted the service or not, and made me feel uncomfortable while I was already undressed for the appointment. Her tone was dismissive and unprofessional. At one point, I was uncomfortable enough to ask whether she was going to hurt me. Instead of reassuring me professionally, she dismissed my concern. During the actual laser treatment, she did not check in to ask whether the laser felt okay, whether I was comfortable, or whether the setting was painful. That is not acceptable during a laser treatment, especially after a tense interaction. I also want to note that I spoke to the staff in Spanish, even though English is my first language, in an attempt to communicate clearly and respectfully. Despite that, I was spoken to rudely and at one point was asked, "Are you going to let me speak?" The issue was not a misunderstanding on my part. The office canceled my original appointment, rescheduled me without confirming my availability, kept an appointment on the books after I said I could not attend, and then penalized me for not showing up. I prepaid for a package, and instead of receiving professional service, I was blamed for the office's scheduling mistake and treated disrespectfully. At this point, they can keep the remaining appointments because I do not feel safe returning to this office or being treated by someone so rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this location based on the poor communication, lack of accountability, and unacceptable customer service. read more

I have gotten facial services done here on 2 separate occasions and they are not relaxing at all. I have gotten many facials before in other spas which were way better than what is offered here and with their quality of service with high prices...I don't think I would go back again. I don't mind paying a high price, but the quality of service in every aspect needs to meet the price being demanded. Prior to starting the facial, the esthetician didn't wash her hands, used no gloves and she don't ask me any questions regarding my current skin care routine or if I was allergic/sensitive to any products. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside. The estheticians rush through the process and are aggressive on your face, slapping their hands on your face abruptly & unexpectedly. During my most recent facial the esthetician sat next to me using her phone to watch videos with the volume on high while the steamer was on my face for 10 minutes or so. They wash the dishes they use for the facials while the client is laying on the table, throwing dishes around and making a lot of noise while washing them. I used the bathroom prior to my facial and while I was washing my hands, one of the estheticians used the bathroom and walked out without washing her hands and walked right back to her station...I was disgusted and shocked!!! The place is beautiful, but the quality of service, attention to detail and communication/etiquette of the staff need to be upgraded. A spa is supposed to deliver a clean, quiet, relaxing and delicate experience. Sadly, this spa doesn't do any of that. read more

Came here because it was close to home and I needed a spray tan for a wedding this weekend, so I went on Groupon and found Glam Glow. The spray tan would have been decent if they had offered me some sticker sandals for the soles of my feet. THE SOLES OF MY FEET ARE LITERALLY BLACK!! I have been getting spray tans for years and I never left with black feet. Highly dissatisfied and disappointed! This is for ladies getting massages and just my massage experience: I recently had liposuction and needed post op massages. I was recommended to come here by a friend who does facial procedures here. I love the esthetic in the spa. It's super clean and professional at the front desk. For the price you are paying for massages they should invest in a better system and have their staff more knowledgeable on massages and what to do at certain points of healing. I tried all of the masseuses and they all do different techniques so you never know what you're going to get but none of the techniques seemed to help my discomfort which i expressed during my visit which didn't help because I don't speak proper Spanish so communication was not the best being that they either don't speak English or try to. Which isn't a problem because I will try to speak the best Spanish I can. They should have client charts or a tracking system and consult with client for progress to keep clients coming back. Because I feel mislead and like I didn't get what I paid for being I'm going to another spa which I was able to get my swelling down and treatment for fibrosis and a proper compression routine with garments they offer. This spa pace is quite nice. They have a varieties of treatments like lip injections, massage, wax, eyelash extensions. I mainly go here for their brazilian wax because it's only $35+tax and it's a reasonable price. The lady I always get is Mery Santos or Mary Santos. She's a sweet lady and she's very nice. I have gotten their butt vacuums before and I think it's $88? or $80 I don't remember but because I didn't get them once a week and weekly, there is no results.... Well after visiting glam glow since the day they opened being a loyal client and bringing a lot of business to them I will no longer be visiting this establishment any longer the services have declined severely. I had booked an appointment and had to call in and tell them I could not make it due to I woke up sick and could barely move I was told well there will be a $25 fee for you canceling I made it clear to them that my intentions were not to cancel but I could not move and called as soon as they opened giving them almost a 2 hour notice. Not one to leave reviews but i definitely wanted to share how amazing my experiences with Glam Glow have been. Ive done many services at glam glow such as the butt vacuum, wood therapy , laser on many body parts; underarm, face , Brazilian and legs Ive rotated between laser techs and have great experiences with all of them especially Yuli and Yenny! , lash services are great here aswell! Immediately saw results with the laser , i used to do waxing here on my Brazilian and underarms and recently started the laser as of three months ago. Very clean , staff is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are great and affordable aswell compared to other places ive seen. I came here for the non-invasive laser lipo which included wood therapy, laser lip treatment, and the butt vacuum. I wanted to get rid of some unwanted fat in my stomach even though I try to work out regularly. I found this place through tik tok and checked out the reviews and was excited to try it out. This place was such a disappointment. I was assigned to Leidy, someone who spoke zero English. At first I thought she spoke spanish but would still be able to understand and communicate. I could barely communicate with her. The wood therapy was extremely painful(maybe because it was my first time.) When she was using the wood on the side of my waist, she only completed one side. Also, when she used the radio frequency therapy, she ended up burning parts of my skin, especially places she didn't apply the pre cream to, today I noticed discoloration to certain parts of my stomach and a scab from the burn(may post pics soon). When I was going through the laser lipo process(abou 30-45 mins), she came back 5-10 minutes late after the machine stopped running and I'm pretty sure she was napping because she seemed drowsy after. At the end when I did the butt vacuum I immediately regretted it afterwards because this increased the appearance of my hip dips drastically and the minimal lift went away in about a day. After the procedure was over, all I was asked was if the experience was good and if I wanted to do any package deals. No aftercare instructions was provided. Overall, not the best experience. I think first time customers could be handles better and the training for the aestheticians could also be better. I also felt very bloated and very sore in my abdomen area after which is normal in some cases, but its been over a week and I have yet to notice a difference after the treatment. read more

Bought a package of 5 sessions for laser lipo. It is really hard to get any afternoon appointments. They are booked for weeks at a time. When I had my first visit, no one told me I should book all 5 sessions at once. Seems like they save all their appointments for influencers. So far I have done 2 sessions and they have been inconsistent. $120 per session is way overpriced for this service. The first lady left the lasers on me for half hour and the second time was 20 minutes. No results so far. Save your money and get coolsculpting instead. Would not recommend. read more

The lady that attended me was nice but she seemed like she did not know what she was doing she BUTCHERED MY EYEBROWS no shape looks like I did them myself she tinted them but then went in with the brow pencil to fill them in? and continued to pluck hairs. When I went to the front desk and she told me $70 I was like HELL NO! She did not do a $70 job? You could not even tell they are tinted and they are completely butchered. She caught an attitude and said they look fine and had to nerve to ask me if I had a picture of what they looked like before. I was so pissed to the point I wanted to walk out with out even paying for this terrible service. I do not even pay $70 at the brow benefit bar in the city. This place is horrible! I would give this place zero stars if could. This place has the worst costumers service ever. their fillers seems fishy. I got restyline on my forehead and under eyes. and they didnt last a month. After a week I went for a revision and told the them I need more product on my forehead and I see a hole and bump the fillers just didn't do the job. ( I had over half of the product left) I was told I got nothing and that they didn't see anything wrong with it when I am clearly not happy with the filler. After a month things didn't improve so I went back and they told they couldn't do anything as they no longer do fillers in the forehead. I was given 8cc of Botox on my eyes when asked for refund or fix. They didn't want to to fix their horrible job. The person who did the botox gave me a huge hematoma that lasted another month. and now the Botox on that part of my eye is gone. the person who did the Botox obviously isn't trained well and did without care. Horrible place horrible products. don't go there. also they overcharged for every service. I have found another place where the service is very good and they are very happy to give you a fix or refund and they make sure you are happy as any business owner should do if they want to have a good reputation. take your money somewhere else. So I'm not one to ever write reviews- that's because I have not really done anything service based for myself in a loooong time. I purchased the Groupon, came in for my first session had an awesome experience. I come in to use another of the 6 purchased - I was then told to read the fine print it's only one body part for all the sessions. No problem ok. She was already getting a little nasty with me and condescending doing this fake professional thing which is actually far from. They were nice the next time as well until that day. What's odd is that even after that I was nice to them just wanting my service. Nothing extra. I came in today for an appointment- yes I was a few minutes late. I AM NEVER LATE I had a horrific day out of my control. She clearly saw me at the door pretended she didn't see me to let me in until I knocked. Ok no problem i guess. Then she excitedly tells me I'm short of the recommended 4-6 weeks between sessions. She then became incredibly rude and legit mean. She took a strange joy in telling me I cannot be served today and to go home. It's like she has been waiting for me to send me home. If she stopped being so petty and mean she could take the time to actually confirm the appointments made and cancel them if you are worried about me getting burned . There is literally no reason I was not served today other than that was her mood today. It's actually a shame because Yuli is a great tech and she was silent the whole time this lady was being awful . She would have been fine to do the session if the secretary wasn't being horrible. I'm going to have to take a loss on the rest of the sessions because I really have no interest in being made to feel like shit over a Groupon. This receptionist is the definition of petty and unprofessional- she's just not a nice person - what's worse is she very loudly pretends to be nice. Like I said. If you are so concerned about burning my legs then confirm all that info at the appointment time. After seeing so many reviews on Tik Tok I came in for a laser lipo noninvasive treatment. I had to pay separate for the wood therapy while other reviews mentioned they were both included. Anyways it gets worse, I come in on time for my appointment and I'm greeted by someone who doesn't even speak English. She was so rough with the wood therapy that it's been three days and I'm still in pain. My stomach is sore and there are bruises. Again, because she spoke zero English so I had no way of communicating. The laser treatment was placed only on my stomach when I wanted to also include my arms which is part of the package. Because of the language barrier it was very hard to communicate what I want and therefore I got hurt in the process. I work out regularly as well and chose this treatment to speed up my weight loss. After this treatment, I see no results and will not be returning. Please do not come here. I had to call to find out what I needed to do to prepare for the treatment before and after since they didn't even tell me. They also try to sell you shapewear at the end of your treatment for $130.
