We made reservations from miami well in advance for our parents that live nearby because we wanted to do something special for them, so we booked a couples massage. We had booked for them a Saturday session and my dad took off work to be able to go. Long story short I get a text late in the evening almost at 10pm the day prior telling me that they have some issue and that the reservation is set for Sunday and early at 10am. I tell them the best we can do is 11am and they said sorry it's Sunday ah 10am now. We spoke to them countless times about fixing this and they made a mess of this. It is tranquil but not pretentious, and everyone from front desk to the therapists to the spa director were down to earth and a pleasure. I was given a gift certificate for a spa treatment by a dear friend. I redeemed it yesterday for a hot stone/Swedish massage with Steven. It was amazing. Seriously, it was the best massage I ever had. He intuitively knew how much pressure I needed and how much I could take. I have some very sensitive areas which I failed to mention to him. Honestly, I was terrified. I have never had a facial before and this was my first time in a really nice place. The lighting, the whole atmosphere was so welcoming.
