Don't even know where to start with this salon except for ALL THEIR GOOD HAIRSTYLISTS HAVE LEFT !!!!!!! So I was reached out to by one of their stylists to be a hair model and I accepted because her work looked good on her Instagram page and we came to an agreement of what I wanted and the color I wanted to achieve during my visit. Throughout more than half of my visit I was complaining about something, whether it was that she touched my roots and I didn't want her to or that the balayage she did literally looked like I had lines on my hair or that my hair looked orangey and not ashy. She did completely different techniques on each side of my head which I'm not a hairstylist but I've done my hair enough to know what's right and wrong. I complained so much that the lady brought over the owner, who by the way shouldn't have a business if all she's going to do is tell you you're wrong and make you feel stupid. I complained that my hair had basically a whole straight line on one of my lower hair layers which is not what a balayage is and the owner starts "a balayage is meant to be looked at as a whole, not in different sections..." L O L ummm what?! So you mean to tell me that I can't put my hair up and can't get the lines fixed because I should look at my hair as a whole. This salon owner is laughable at the very least. If you don't believe my story, at the very least look at the photos for proof of the B.S that was down to my hair. Also, that difference in color you see at my roots is because I said I didn't want highlights and then I had streaks of highlights done and I asked for it to be covered up and the lady did my roots ORANGE BROWN instead of dark brown and then only did my front top roots........... Beware of this place and the deceiving photos on their insta. I basically spent so much money a week later to get this fixed by someone who actually knows what they're doing. read more

Upon booking an appointment online ( this is the only way to schedule an appointment at this Salon) you may see availability... but don't think your going to get that appointment ..think again ..they will make you wait 3+ hours before you know if your appointment request is approved with that Sylist for that day & time and they leave the best available spots like Friday's and Saturdays for social media influencers and are pre selective ..no other reason why they would make you wait this long.. this was my second time booking and because I selected the blow out for medium length hair with color .. I was told they couldn't accommodate for the Sylist I requested because she wouldn't have enough time to dry my hair the difference is literally 15 mins from medium length to long hair length ( see picture) and they couldn't accommodate 15 mins..that's shitty service and I'm not expected to give attitude ..( they must have had really good notes on file on my exact length & thickness and drying time from my one previous visit lol ) then you should have known this when you received my request to notify me earlier rather than make me wait 3 hours..Owner Robert excuse was had I selected long hair, I wouldn't have been able to book that appointment..( I can't see how that square up site can be that tech savvy ) I actually think I would have waited a lot longer to hear from someone had I not called there salon number 5 times with no answer emailed with no response and posted a comment on there recent IG Post .. Only to receive a call from Robert one the Owners to say he wasn't going to be able accommodate with that Sylist why would I want to see someone else when I booked a spot open with that Sylist makes no sense.. I was told he can put me with another Sylist, I've never been too but I'm very picky with my hair and preferred the Sylist who did my hair the first time and her calendar showed availability so I booked that appt., from an Owner of this Salon that works with Social Media Influencers and Celebs he knows these individuals are high maintenance and won't go elsewhere ( the Sylist I booked with is the best Sylist at this Salon , not counting the owners) why would I do that when the calendar showed an opening for that specific Sylist Friday afternoon and it took them over 3 hours to notify me regarding this.. I was told I was being very impatient & not accommodating with a rude attitude.. when I was trying to schedule an appt here or somewhere else for Friday to have my hair done for the weekend .. when In Miami same day or next day appts are usually never available.. most times you need 2-5 days.. so yes I was getting impatient .. Unless you want to feel like a just another random person they don't value because your not a social media influencer with tons of fake followers find another salon that truly appreciates your business.. and is loyal to you as you are that Salon. read more

This salon is lying to their customers and it is very misleading. I had done my eyebrows at Glam House once before. After the appointment, I received an email with a $5 off reward on my next visit. I made an appointment to do my eyebrows to use the reward before it expires. I get my eye brows done and when I go to pay and use the reward the cashier tells me that the reward can only be applied if I spend $25 or more. No where on the reward and fine print does it state that. I told the cashier this and she states that the code I have would not work. My experience at GlamHouse was amazing! Starting with the fact that I was reached out to the day before my appointment asking what it was that I wanted for my hair. My hair needed a lot of help. It had been almost a year since my last balayage and my ends were fried. I also had a lot of grays to cover. Upon walking in, I was offered snacks and beverages. We spoke about the plan for my hair and began the process. I had balayage, root touch up, and olaplex treatment done. I couldn't be happier with the results! Also, Celisse and her girls are so nice! I won't be recommending this place to anyone!! Unfortunately I wish I would have had a different experience but I didn't. I came because my sister in law had an appointment at 1 pm to get a manicure and pedicure. We arrived at 12:51 pm and she said to give the lady a few minutes to pick the color in the meantime. As we were waiting I decided to get my eyebrows done and they were super accommodating and said yes. So so far so good... except that my sister in laws now 1:00 appointment was 20 minutes in and she still hadn't even sat in the chair. By this time we were looking over and the lady was just finishing up the lady's toenail color but STILL needed to paint her fingernails. By this point she was getting upset but I assured her that she would be done soon ( mind you NO ONE came over to her to assure her of anything so that was my job). 30 minutes in and STILL NOTHING!!! At this point she went and asked how much longer and the girl said "10 more minutes". 40 minutes past the original appointment time and I think it's unacceptable especially when no one acknowledged it. Not only were they running behind but when we said we had to leave we were completely dismissed. If I were in their shoes I would have handled it differently. Waist of time and money. Cheap quality salon and unprofessional They're misleading and dishonest. Gas lighters. Came for consultation for color and extensions. Had to book with Amanda due to my schedule and her being available. The color wasn't bright enough She didn't even give me a proper blow out or she couldn't. Beginning of service she showed me the price of the package on her phone which is 300$ for medium length hair. The service menu stated that if the person has more hair than usual amount of hair or it is very long they will have to use additional product and it's an extra charge. It's clear that I don't have anything unusual about the length and density of my hair. Plus I have even less hair right now due to the fact that I just had some heavy 30 inch keratin tip extensions taken out less than a month ago and it covered my head with hair so a lot of my hair came out from that. Which is the whole reason I am here looking to get extensions in the first place.... At the end she said it's now 375$ For me it's not the money but the principal. So I asked her, after I made the payment mind u, what exactly am I being charged for can u break it down to me. She said because she had to use more product than she thought because my grow out was 4 inches and not 2 inches. and I'm like okay but how did u come to the price of 75$ ? And u could clearly tell how much grow out I had before hand. She stuttered and was stuck and didn't have anything to say not because she was nervous and flustered but because u are not able to come up with a lie that make sense. She never mentioned that additional product would be needed before or even during the session. There was never any indication that i needed more than the "usual" amount of product. I asked to maintain the same color from my previous bayalage, except to go slightly lighter and she totally made it happen. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have been following their Instagram page for about a year and finally decided to give them a shot. I have been a blonde all my life and know what a proper color is. I made my appt with Liz, when I arrive she asks me details about what I want as far as color and length, I showed her photos of what I wanted and told her I made my appt for the most expensive package they have which is called baby lights which clearly states on their website that it is for the most brightness overall which is exactly what I wanted to be brighter. She also told me since I had a lot of hair that I would need to be charged extra for extra bowls of bleach and then extra bowls of toner- fine I agreed since I want the job done correctly. Well 5 hours later and I was a brunette at the top with ORANGE highlights that she was trying to hide with the toner. It became very clear that she did not know how to mix her colors!!! She called my color a dirty blonde which kind you I told her I wanted to be in between a golden blonde and platinum which is what I had in my hair!!! My head looks like it belongs on 3 different people bc it's all different colors. The service cost me $365, when I called to explain to the owner how unhappy I was, she really didn't care. She said no refunds but I will have Daniela fix your hair, come in on Tuesday and don't worry Liz doesn't work that day. Well guess what Tuesday morning comes around and Liz calls me to tell me she will be the one doing my hair. I said absolutely not you messed up my hair why would I allow you to touch my hair again?! I called again and the owner said sorry but that's our policy I'm not giving you your money back and no1 else here will be touching your hair unless you pay for it again! For example, $6 for removing gel polish (I've never seen that before). My experience: I made an appt for 11 am on Friday. Thursday someone contacted me to see if I could come in later at 11:30. I was flexible and I agreed. I got there at 11:20ish picked my color and waited. It was about 40 minutes later when I finally was attended by the nail technician. My gel polish has also already chipped on one of my nails Monday night, I should have just gotten a regular manicure. Okay so I went in asking for a Baylage, I showed them the picture of the type of blonde I wanted at my tips and They then recommended I do baby lights but that it was a bit more expensive... ( I agreed, because know good things come with a price) my biggest mistake. I have very thin and short hair, and supposedly they use three bowls of bleach on me mind you the third bow of bleach I saw them use on another client and then on me again (I wonder if they charged her for the same bowl of bleach?) I had mention to her that I wanted my roots MY color so she did a root shadow mind you she did it to me and was like "I did the root shawdow, is that okay" thinking she was doing what I wanted and that it came included in my service since I orginally wanted my roots (they charged me for that tooo) to add my root are brown and she made them black. She did the root shadow in like two minutes very very uneven. My hair look like 5 different yellows with black patches. My service included a cut but since her other client arrived for her appointment everything after that was a hot mess. She didn't even blow dry my hair properly she started from the top. My hair in the bottom was still wet ( I told her ) she told me it would dry up when she did the curls (obviously burning my hair more ) I was charged over 315 and had to go somewhere else the next day to fix the mess. Hi, I have natural nails which I continuously take care of, they were strong and gorgeous to the point people couldn't believe they were real. I had a Gel Mani/Pedi with Vivian. Her method of removing the gel took 15 more the the clips and completely stripped my nails to the point I have the extremely short and brittle!! 2 days after getting my nails done you could notice the cuticles since she pushed the back but never removed them. By the 3rd it they looked like it was time to get them done! Horrible. I reached out, the rescheduled me free of charge since it was in the 3 day timeframe per their policy. After demanding Elivette because I refused to go back to Vivian. Elivette did a great job as always but had to trim my nails and add extra coats to help my nails from breaking which was inevitable. My nails broke, it was painful to remove the gel and you can see how brittle they are. It will takes months to regrow my entire nail. Although I love Eli's work I don't think I'll be going back. My nails in white was before, red nails done with Vivian, Taupe/grayish nails after Eli cleaned them and redid them. They immediately broke and I had to cut them. My nails are in pain. Horrible removal process. If you have natural nails avoid cooking your nails and cuticles with Vivian. I read more

My gel nails are chipping/peeling off (two peeled off in one piece) less than one week after getting them done. Service was fine, and the manicurist was nice and approachable, but unfortunately, the polish did not last. I have done gel nails (of the same brand, OPI) many times at my usual salon in the past, but decided to try Glam House out due to their $10 off deal for new customers they had going on that week. My gel nails always last me at least two weeks (in fact, it is usually difficult for me to remove them because of how "stuck on" they are). I am not sure if I will be coming back here to do my nails. They pay extra attention to detail, all stylists have extensive experience, and their customer service is amazing. The salon is super clean, they use amazing coloring products, and also provide nail, brow, and lash services in addition to their hair ones. In addition, they are located right next to a seafood place which has the BEST croquettes(ham and fish) and seafood in Miami I promise. The prices are the best in the city and let me tell you... I have a LOT of hair. I'm used to paying as much as $500 for a cut and color that I can now get for under $300... including Olaplex. They constantly run weekly specials offering everything from free Olaplex, to free hair cuts with a color service, discounts on lash lifts and tints, gel manis, the works. Seriously, I had to walk down to the tattoo shop at the end of the shopping center to take out cash for a $3.25 fee, making me immediately believe it's a whole scam they have going on between the two places. That's super inconvenient and just annoying, honestly. Add the top option to your IPad and let's make this process easier for your clients. It has great stylists and nail techs. *However, there is clearly there is no management.* Slowly but surely the salon has deteriorated and become neglected since I first visited over two years ago. There is hair dye splatter on the walls and sinks,the bathroom is gross and has a hole on the wall that has a sign that says it will be repaired soon but it's been about 3 months on my count and I'm unaware of before that time because it had been a while since I had returned. It's the small things that make a difference in a salon and the lack of upkeep will drive away returning customers which is a shame because as I said earlier GREAT POTENTIAL! This review is based on my experience with their lash lifts/tint. The girl that does them (Jackie) is SUPER sweet and professional, but every time I've gone to get my lash lift and tint done they don't last long at all and don't look super lifted and separated. They only charge about $45 sometimes $35 which is honestly really cheap, so maybe what happens is that the salon uses a formula that is cheap. I've had a lash lift and tint done at another place prior and I paid $80, but the lash lift lasted me WEEKS and my lashes looked like lash extensions, super separated and SUPER long and dark. Where can I start, super friendly staff, super chic salon. The girls were working when I walk in 10 minutes early. I was attended immediately. As I watch the girls work I was so impressed that I couldn't wait to get my hair and nails done. End result my hair was cut perfectly the color lighten my face automatically I felt younger lol.
