I did tell the technician beforehand as a heads up that my eyelashes were stubborn and straight and the perm might need to be left on for slightly longer. This is what other technicians have told me, and it has totally been fine in the past. I do want to add that the lift turned out totally fine and there wasn't any issues with the actual technique. However, when we reached the tint portion of the service, things really went downhill. First of all, out of all the lift and tints I've had done, the tint is usually put in while the rubber pads are still intact. She took everything off, then proceeded to do the tint. I thought this was strange but whatever. Within about 30 seconds of the tint being applied, it got into my eye and caused intense, excruciating burning. I was in significant pain and asked for it to be removed, but it was not handled with any urgency. I have a very high pain tolerance and this truly felt like I was being blinded. The technician was getting frustrated and kept telling me to relax, which was very frustrating considering how much pain I was in. She then proceeded to clean my eye at a snails pace. The situation felt unsafe and honestly alarming. I kept asking if there was a water fountain or sink I could rinse my eye in and she dismissed me multiple times. What made this even more concerning was that during my service, the technician left me mid treatment and began performing a Brazilian wax on another client in the same open space. There was no privacy for either of us, and I was left unattended while dealing with a chemical reaction in my eye. This was extremely uncomfortable and felt highly unprofessional. After all of that, the tint was on my eyes for a total of maybe 30 seconds before I was in blinding pain. Despite this, I was still charged $40 (just for the tint). I was happy to pay for the lift which was $75. When I asked her if I really had to pay for the tint considering everything that happened, she said it was my fault because "my eyelashes were small" and this doesn't happen to girls with long eyelashes. I want to iterate again that I have NEVER had an issue with lift and tints in the past, and I have had over 20 of them. The tint also got all over my hands and stained my clothes, which I cannot get out. There was no acknowledgment or effort to make this right. Overall, this experience felt unsafe, unprofessional, and poorly handled from start to finish. I would strongly caution others before booking here.

I loved that she asked if I wanted the service to be more relaxing or more of a chatty service where she explains all the things she was doing for a Cryo facial. The cryo facial itself was nicely cooling and I was able to notice a different in my skin and tone over the few days that passed. It'd love to come back to get another Cryo facial! My friend got a sculpt facial and said she really enjoyed the cupping of the face. She was able to tell the difference in her skin and tone over the next few days as well.  This is a great place to treat yourself to or to have a girls day!

I've had the clean and natural facial four times, having joined their base level membership (without feeling pressured, by the way) after a first-time discounted visit. I've seen three different estheticians, and each has done a great job. The membership gives you a monthly perk, which sometimes is a small product, but other times is an actual add-on. I find the facials very thorough and relaxing, with neck/shoulder massages to start and finish. Others have commented on the layout not being private rooms. This doesn't bother me - I go for the benefits of the services more than the atmosphere. It hasn't been very noisy the times I've been there, even with multiple clients. One thing I appreciate is that even though they always recommend products, they don't pressure you to buy them. The front desk staff has always been great, especially when I stopped by before I booked my first facial to ask some questions. Face Foundrie is the perfect option for when you want effective skincare treatments and you are good with being in and out. I had the glow facial and the dermaplanning add-on. This was my first time having dermaplanning and I was impressed with the results. I remember hearing that your daily skin care products and makeup absorb better after dermaplanning and I would highly agree with this. While they did mention the membership to me at the end, it wasn't in a pushy way. I didn't end up enrolling in the membership, but it seems like a pretty good deal if you would like to have monthly facials.
