It was easy to book an appointment online with her. She was friendly, personable and made me feel comfortable. She took the time to explain to me a few options that I had and was very comfortable with helping me decide what service I needed based on what I was looking for. She took the time to map out my face and show me several options The shop was very clean and sterile - I only say sterile because Jazmin took all supplies out of new packaging and all tools and equipment was wrapped to avoid cross contamination. With that in mind, I decided to try this spot out for some lash extensions with the idea that if I liked them, I would get a fill in a couple weeks prior to my trip. When I first arrived, I was super nauseated from my Uber ride and the woman that answered the door was very friendly, got me a chair out of the direct sunlight (overheated) and got me some cold water. It was such a friendly and welcoming way to enter my appointment after such a rough Uber ride. Jazmin was so lovely and friendly, making me feel comfortable and listening to what I said I wanted done to my lashes. She had just gotten her own done and I loved how they looked and kind of also showed her a few pictures of what I was looking for to get this kind of layered, wispy look that I was going for. The session was really relaxing and she was so patient, even when for some reason I kept having to cough throughout the appointment. She did not get frustrated or rush through anything and I absolutely loved the results. I cannot wait to go back in two weeks and get just a little more volume/length added before my trip :)

I've had the clean and natural facial four times, having joined their base level membership (without feeling pressured, by the way) after a first-time discounted visit. I've seen three different estheticians, and each has done a great job. The membership gives you a monthly perk, which sometimes is a small product, but other times is an actual add-on. I find the facials very thorough and relaxing, with neck/shoulder massages to start and finish. Others have commented on the layout not being private rooms. This doesn't bother me - I go for the benefits of the services more than the atmosphere. It hasn't been very noisy the times I've been there, even with multiple clients. One thing I appreciate is that even though they always recommend products, they don't pressure you to buy them. The front desk staff has always been great, especially when I stopped by before I booked my first facial to ask some questions. This was my first time having dermaplanning and I was impressed with the results. I remember hearing that your daily skin care products and makeup absorb better after dermaplanning and I would highly agree with this. While they did mention the membership to me at the end, it wasn't in a pushy way. I didn't end up enrolling in the membership, but it seems like a pretty good deal if you would like to have monthly facials.

It did take longer than the average set of lashes but that is expected for a good set of lashes. Sandra took her time to ensure that the lashes were done correctly and I never felt rushed. I waited till the next morning to give more feedback to see if the lashes would stick together but to my surprise I found them looking perfect when I woke up. I also noticed that no lashes have fallen out in my sauna time. Yes I know I am not supposed to do that but how am I suppose to know if they are durable or not? I like to push the lashes to limit to see how durable they are. Next is the wet sauna.

Have you lost your mind?? Unfortunately for Complexions, there are a ton of other places in Chitown that I can go to that won't charge this ridiculous amount for JUST a lip wax.
