The one thing is that the brow tint is darker on the brow that she started with - meaning that brow had dye on it for 2 min or so longer but they were wiped off at the same time so one ended up being darker because they were sitting for longer. I might skip the tint next time because it didn't last as long as I wanted. But would definitely go back for threading. She was nice and fast.

Jackson Heights!!!! Yes folks! Better yet, she told me her prices and I simply couldn't believe it! I've never had a haircut cost less than about $65 (not including blow dry, style and tip). And this lady was charging $28 (wash, blow dry and style)! I immediately took down the information from my friend and called the stylist (Maritza) the next morning and was able to get an appointment for me and one of my friends that same morning within an hour. The place is definitely a small mom and pop store whole in the wall in Jackson heights that I would otherwise probably never step into, so it's definitely an easy miss unless your referred by someone. After arriving she asked us what we wanted, we showed her pix and got started! Long story short...she's She is super nice and skilled at layering and creating volume. I still can't believe I got all this for $28! However, after a while I noticed that my layers were disconnected. Yes, it's a great deal, but I guess we do get what we pay for. I wanted a color, trim, and blow dry it came out to $55 the outcome was EXACTLY what I wanted she was by far the best hairstylist I've had in a long time . First of all, I was not informed that lightening was part of the regimen and demanded its removal. When I asked the ingredients of the cream, the woman explained that she did not know the contents. I complained that she needed to explain what was being done to my face and she was very defensive rather than apologetic. I think that's what sent me over the edge when she essentially gaslighted me like I should've known what was happening. After this experience, I'm going to question every little thing future aestheticians are doing. The worst customer service experience.
