I have had good and bad experiences here. The owner does a great job and doesn't ruin your nails with the Dremel. There is also another younger tech perhaps around 20 who is good and speaks good English so it is nice to chat with her. The owner does most filing by hand. Many of the other ladies don't listen to you even when you ask them to not overdo it -- and did ruin my nails by trying to make them smooth. I am older and have slight ridges but they take off too much-- and they use it on my cuticles too(!) and then my nails were very brittle and broke and cuticles grew in very messy. I have found that many salons want to cut your cuticles even if they just need pushed back. This is the worst thing you can do for them. My cuticles were looking great after a break from having my nails done. Then one of the techs cut the heck out of them and they were a mess afterwards. Be SURE to test the colors of gel and compare them to the chart because they DO NOT MATCH. Hold onto the sample book because they ALWAYS move it away so you won't see the sample. I've had this problem everywhere! read more

I am new to the newnan area and decided to come back to nice nails. I came here once and wrote a wonderful review but my opinion has changed in this place. I went in and got my toes and nails done. A man with a Mohawkish hairstyle who claims his name is Sam was extremely rude. Made jokes about me asking prices and about my feet. I was not too fond of the lady who did my nails. She was just laughing at his jokes about me. I still left a tip even though I felt they didn't deserve it. I wouldn't ever come back to this place, just wanted to relax after work but instead got body shamed. Not very welcoming nor professional. read more

Whenever my daughter and I want a girls day to get our nails done, this is the place we visit. Our last visit was a couple of weeks ago. They are busy on weekends so it's helpful to call ahead and they will give you a time to come in. I typically get a regular manicure or I'll get SNS nails. SNS lasts a lot longer, for me it's usually around a month. A regular manicure lasts a week if I use my hands a lot. My daughter will get a mani/pedi. She's tried SNS and acrylic nails. She likes them both. I've also had my eyebrows shaped here. Great prices for their services. The staff is always friendly. All of our experiences have been positive. The staff takes the time to do a professional job. We tried another nail salon in our area and it wasn't close to the professional service we received at Nice Nails. Great experience! Wonderful customer service, color choices, the staff are really nice and conversational. This place is super clean and very cute inside. I decided to try this place after receiving a sub par manicure at another salon. They were so helpful and totally understood what I wanted. My manicurist was very attentive. My nails came out beautiful! They shaped them perfectly and the color was so elegant and natural. The owner of the salon, Carrie, is so nice and chatted with me throughout the service. My wife just took my 14 year old daughter here to have her nails done. My wife went in, told the lady EXACTLY what she wanted and agreed to the price. My wife then went outside to wait in the car with our disabled son because inside is to much for him. All done and wife goes to pay. They charged her FIFTY DOLLARS MORE than agreed! They took advantage of a 14 year old girl that did not understand that everything the lady asked if she wanted or not was extra! She is 14 years old! She had no clue, they knew that and they took advantage!! My wife told them exactly what she wanted and they took advantage!! This is NOT okay!! Since moving to Newnan I haven't found a nail salon that I've liked. So I haven't gotten my nails done in almost a year because I got tired of the bad experiences and my expectations not being met. I took my daughter here to get her nails painted for her third birthday, at her request. We sat and waited patiently for her turn; however, they continued to take people that had arrived after us. I understand that they make more money from adults, but it was disappointing to see that they value a few bucks over doing what is right. I finally left with a sad birthday girl after they continually took care of everyone else but us. Poor judgement call on part of the person working that day. read more

First time here and experience was amazing. They have a wide range of colors to choose from, very sanitary and clean. Everyone was friendly and nice. I'm from Michigan visiting and never had my legs messaged for that long it was the best pedi experience ever. Hey offer herbal spas but didn't see that until after. They did a great job getting calluses off my friends feet which is always a job. She's not one to get a pedi but I think they won her over. "I feel like I have 10 year old feet." The massage chairs are to die for. I would not recommend coming here on a Saturday. The service felt rushed. I requested a pedinand a full set of acrylics. What I didn't like about it was the guy started on my nails while I was getting a pedicure. It was awkward. When you are getting a full set of nails with gel and/or powder the last thing you need is for that stuff to be all over your clothing and skin when you're done? The service felt rushed. Invest in a cape, barber brush or something. He didn't even try to dust me off after...smh. Also who wants to get their eyebrows, mustache lip waxed in the front of the shop in front of everyone!?
