I liked going here in the beginning but now I'm just truly not liking the work. They were doing great when it comes to customer service but it just swindled the moment you become a regular. There needs to be consistency with this of being inviting. For example, I used to do the gel-x. I would get my cuticle cleaned but after becoming a regular, they stopped doing that. I just don't feel I'm getting a proper "manicure" when I get a gel-x. I'll only go there for just feet because there's nothing more I personally need aside from no-chip. Also if you do decide to get your nails done, go to Emma. She's the only one who really knows how to nails. I really really wanted to love this place, the technicians were wonderful and we LOVE our nails. Now for the reason I am giving them 1 star...we are from CA and just in town for a wedding. Being from CA we are used to paying a lot for stuff, but nothing could have prepared us for the price tag on 2 pedicures and 2 full sets. The quoted price was around $200 - what we paid - $279!!! When I asked forthe reason for the extra $79, I was handed a breakdown: $20 for exfoliation treatment, which neither of us had $10 for "shape" - We both have a regular shape $20 for "french" - My daughter got black tips painted on $10 for "length" - We both got short/medium length $20 for "no chip" When we confronted the owner she was rude and aggressive, she even started telling us off! She refused to even address the fact that we had a charge for a service we didn't get and made us feel like we did something wrong by getting our nails done. I did get a classic pedicure done which include a 3 minute massage that I did not get. She did not soak my feet to be able to remove callus. my feet are basically the same expect the nails shaping and nail polish. The nail polish wasn't even applied evenly. I also got gel powder and the Asian kid there was rude, did not understand what I want and just walked away and had another person do it for me. Really really awful. Avoid at all costs. I never write reviews and even tipped the nail tech over 20% bc I feel guilty if I don't---but this place is BAD. Nails (dipped) were totally rushed through. Burnt my nail while removing old dip. Did a super rush job on new dip, very bumpy, no cuticle care or anything resembling a professional nail job. I am from out of state & was in town for multiple sporting events. As a walk-in I requested a full set dip with French tips. I immediately received service. The young lady that started my nails was also working the front desk. She did need to step away multiple times but it was related to the business & I was in no rush, so it wasn't a big deal for me. However, she was on the phone nearly the entire time she was tending to my nails. I don't know if they were business or personal calls as she spoke in a language other than English. She never excused herself when taking a call, I found that unprofessional. About 2/3 through another employee arrived & finished up my nails. She sat down & told me she was going to take over for the other tech, which I was fine with. She wasn't on the phone much but was on enough for me to find it unprofessional. At a glance my nails were beautiful. Upon further inspection my nails weren't a unified length. They weren't even a unified shape. I went in on 9/1/22, today is 9/18/22. I made sure to call before I went to get pricing details and to check if they had availability. the woman on the phone said I was welcome to walk in they were not busy at all. I was there a total of two hours for a service that lasted forty five minutes OVERALL. they charged me $60 for frenchtip and I didn't even get a base color- and it's been FOUR DAYS and five nails have broken. I would go back for a refund but with the attitude that I saw while I was there I am not the type to argue with people when they are not willing to fix any issues. I wish I could give ZERO STARS!! My cousins and I were sooo excited to get our nails done. We walk in and immediately we are slapped with attitude. The new owndership sucks. The woman sitting at the front rolled her eyes at everything even thought we paid $300 and tipped every one. One of them left mid way of my manicure , could not even do a French nail properly. My cousin wanted his nails cut shorter and ended up having to do it himself. He still has cuticles left over as seen in the photo. It's extremely upsetting to pay so much and receive attitude and bad service. I do not recommend this place , take your business elsewhere. My baby cousin got a pedicure. I would not go here unless I have an urgent need and can't get in elsewhere. I've never had such a poor experience with no chip. I got a little burn blister on one of my fingers and also the nail polish got burnt onto the nail with a bump (wasn't smooth) which could easily hurt me or anyone near me. Most importantly, I paid for an upgrade to get a 10 min massage with the pedicure and all I got was a lame 4 min massage. The manicure massage was a joke too. I requested to have my gel nails removed and was charged for the more than the price of a manicure. Removal of gel nails was to be $5.00 and they charged me $20.00 for a manicure in which they did not perform this service nor did I ask for a manicure. I requested only to have the gel nails removed. I called after my visit to ask why they overcharged me for the service and they stated that is what I asked for in which I did not. They only removed the gel nails, buffed off the remaining gel that was left on the nails and the lady asked if I wanted them filed and I said yes. They did not offer to polish on my nails. My nails feels awful from the poor filing and they were not polished in which comes with a manicure. This was my first visit as well as my last visit to this salon. Be careful ladies!!! read more

My first visit was in December. This in not the first time I have gotten gel and tips with with no chip manicure. At first I was happy with how my nails turned out. It was difficult to talk to the one woman who did my nails the first time. Overall, I was happy with them. I made a 2nd appt. I was with a different person. This was an older gentleman, he is the taller of the 2 gentleman that work there. I got a fill and no chip. He did a better job then the first person. I was happy. My 3rd appt. I just got manicure with no chip. This was with a younger woman. She also did a good job, I was happy. I also got my first pedicure at this appt. It was nice to finally get one. It was the same gentleman that I had before. It was painful at times especially when he was starting to dig out a in grown toe nail. I stopped him, because I have had in grown toe nails before and my podiatrist removes them. I don't think he was happy. I was afraid I would get an infection. And he also gave me a small cut on one of my other toes. Now for my last appt...I WILL NEVER GO BACK! This was WORST manicure I ever gotten. I had the other gentleman and the first one woman who did my nails. He was horrible, he was rough and he made me jump so many times. He cut them to the length I wanted them and than ended filing half away and made them shorter. They wanted me to get a fill and I wanted the gel to grow out, but they said no. They were lifting so I had them remove the gel. They just grinded my nails and left grooves. I told them to smooth (buff them) them out and she said no because I would not have any nail left if she grinded them. The looked and felt horrible. The polish never really dried and before I got home they were messed up. I am still trying to get the polish off. I took a soft nail file and I was able to get them smoother. At this point I would not recommend them because once they found out that I could not afford to come back and that I only do them for special events. They didn't care! They never really finished my manicure, I didn't even get a hot towel or hand cream! They lost my business. I would have been back in a couple months for a wedding. oh well... read more

I came in to get two nails fix quickly (didn't get them done there) instead of I believe it was the owners saying yes we can do that for you she question me where I wen to get them done and added than why didn't you go over there! On top of that she charged me 20$ for two broken nails when I've done this before and gone to other salons to get them fix just bc I need them on the go and usually they charge me 5$ per nail! I went to this salon a few times when it was York nails, as its really close to my work. So when it went under and ownership change, I thought I'd give them a try. I'm SO glad that I did. It was near Christmas, so I had them do a festive set, and they did not disappoint. The nail tech consulted with her coworkers to make sure everything was perfect. The shape was amazing, the paint job etc. Went back a second time, and got a cat eye polish, with a slightly different effect than traditional cat eye. Again, the tech was unsure of the new technique, so he consulted the other techs until they made sure it was perfect. This is the only place I'll always come back to. When they do dip they do an extra layer of clear before to make it strong and on top of that when they're done they put clear gel on top. This experience was the worst that I have had with nail salons. I went with my daughter for pedicures. The space did not feel clean. There was nail polish left over from the last customer and an empty water bottle. The technician who worked on my nails rushed and only gave me a 30 second massage when their menu says it would last 3 minutes. She put on the nail separators and flip flops backwards. She kept checking her phone and when she was done she told me to go to the drying station without helping me get there so I didn't mess my nails. She said loudly she wanted to leave and left before I was even done. I asked for a sprite for my daughter as the menu says complimentary soft drinks and my technician said none was available, only water.
