My one and only place for a mani pedi! I won't mention who my favorite manicurist is because I believe they are all pretty good. I started going here back when they first opened up shop and it's been great to see how they have flourished over the years. The only down side is they are closed on Sunday and I would suggest making an appointment. They also do waxing! I love this place!

A huge fan of O'mbre Nails but nobody seem to be able to help me. A salon nearby did the dip O'mbre but they did not hold up very well and were mostly white. I took a chance on Glamour Nails and so happy with the results, they look amazing.

Update: went into there today and the guy was soooooooo rude. I wanted to get a pedicure and dip on my nails and he gave me a pedicure and when I wanted to get my fingernails done and I told him I wanted dip he told me I wasted his time and walked away rudely. I ended up leaving and going to paradise nails where they did not dismiss me or tell me I was wasting their time. So incredibly rude for a repeat customer.

I've been going here for years as it is highly recommended and very close by. After having acrylic tips on for just under a week, my nails began to break in half where the tips had been glued on. Upon scheduling a fill appointment, I was still waiting upwards of 30 minutes while others got seated before me. I am truly disappointed in the decline of service this business has provided lately and will not be returning.

This place used to be good when they first opened about 20 years ago but now their quality of work is trash. I went there to get my nails done before my sister's wedding and I paid for a full set of gel nails, there was a significant gap in between the artificial nail in my natural nail all around each of my fingers. There was an uneven edge on most of them meaning they were slanted they were not straight, nor did they have normal curvature. When I picked my color it was almost as if the bottle was empty and he was scraping for adequate polish. When he finished two coats he asked me if I was OK with how they looked I told him no I needed another coat because you could see the lines in the shellac. I also ended up with bubbles in my polish as well. Complete trash service and I feel bad saying that because the owners have always been nice, but it's clear they don't care about quality.

I've been here twice now and this salon is more concerned with quantity than quality. The first time I went I made an appointment and waited 30 mins to be helped. The customer service wasn't great but they did a good job. Today I went and Tammy did my nails. I felt rushed, she didn't treat my cuticles or use lotion which is pretty standard with a powder/gel manicure. My nails are uneven and I have nail polish on my fingers. It's clear customer service is not a priority here. I understand they are busy but it's not an excuse for poor service. I won't be back.

Destroyed nails 2 days later after "fill-in." Did not clip off loose nails; added a small slab & painted over sloppily.

I can't say enough bad things about this place. Horrible service. Horrible quality. Not friendly. Doesn't greet you when you walk in. They make you wait hours, yes HOURS, even when you have an appointment. I had photos I booked my nails weeks in advance for with the owner they call Quarter, & I show up & they say he's out of town. No call or anything to let me know. I was left stuck with barely any time to find a place who was able to fit me in as my scheduled family photos were the next morning. My most recent time I made an appointment with Quin & received the worst service. 2 days later my "gel acrylic" nails are all chipped and falling off which I've never had happen. The polish was done so quickly & all sloppy. The nails were all different shapes & sizes. It's only been a couple days & I'm booking an appt elsewhere to change them. Waste of money. Absolute WORST customer service I have ever seen in my entire life, I cannot stress it enough. I was a regular, too. I've given them SO many chances & every single time, I am disappointed. I've been to almost everyone there. Beware, & go somewhere else.

After having a few disappointing experiences at other nail salons, my friend recommended this place to me. I could not have been happier with the recommendation! I have started to come here at least once a week and have yet to have a bad experience! They're attentive and very polite. My main guy is Thinh (sp?) he is always so nice and wonderful! They do a phenomenal job!!!!!

I've been coming here for 6 months and I've had consistently GREAT service. Fantastic shellac manis and normal pedis. They really pay attention to detail which is important in something like a manicure where any tiny mistake can make a difference. Love Glamour Nails and recommend it to everyone I know. Recently I went and the woman opened up an individual manicure kit for me so if that's what they're doing now, that's so hygienic and awesome.

This place is the best nail salon around. Priced well and all staff very friendly.

This is the best nail salon i have ever been to. Mikayla is the best, and she definitely deserves a FAT raise. She does pedicures so well, and OMG she is always so freaking funny. I can always recommend this place for all your "glamour" needs ;). If you want it done right I recommend Mikayla, trust me 10/10 would recommend. ;) read more

I am genuinely surprised by the number of positive reviews for this place, because my experience here was extremely negative. I paid close to $50 (plus a 20% tip) for the absolute WORST mani/pedi of my life! Cuticle removal was sloppy and minimal; at one point, the manicurist actually used HER OWN FINGERNAIL to push back my cuticle! Once she finished this uncomfortable process, she began to coat my nails with a thick sludge of color. In retrospect, it was obvious that the polish was VERY old. Next, I was seated in front of the drying lamp, where I had no choice but to stay for TWO HOURS because neither the polish on my fingernails nor the polish on my toes would dry. When it was closing time, the manicurist approached me and requested that I pay for the services I received. When I reached for my debit card, the polish on all 5 of the nails on my right hand smudged because it STILL had not dried. I glanced down at my toes and saw that there were several spots she had missed; it looked as though my fresh pedicure had been done 2 months ago. When I brought this to her attention, her only suggestion was for me to return on Monday (2 days later) and pay for another manicure. I refused, because it seemed ridiculous for me to have to shell out more money for a manicure that was not done right the first time. Instead, I indicated that I wanted a refund. Again, I was told to come back on Monday and get a new manicure. With that, the (terrible) manicurist informed me that she was done for the day -- and then walked out of the salon. I was left standing there with a mani/pedi that could have been done (for free) by a 5-year-old. I will NEVER AGAIN do business at this establishment! read more

Best place to get a manicure and pedicure in town! They have so many color choices. The staff is amazing, they work with such passion! There are so many staff members working, but there is a little bit of waiting time, but it's worth every penny! Highly recommend coming here! read more

Ehh, nothing special here. They claim to be the 'home of the singing manicurist' which does not impress me. It was crowded when I first arrived, so I assumed that was a good sign. My pedicure was less than wonderful as far as it looks. The tops are already a bit sparse, and I prefer when they drag the brush across the top of your toe in an effort to keep the color there. As far as treatment, the pedi felt fine. The water was a bit too cool for my liking when I first stepped into the tub. Just okay here, nothing spectacular. read more

I have been going to Glamour Nails since they opened 8 years ago. Quarter, Ann and the rest of the staff are wonderful and very accommodating. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door.You are treated like you are part of the family. The shop is very clean. I have read the review that was written by Amanda. I was in the shop. She was offered a new manicure, however, she refused saying she only had twenty minutes. Anyone that gets a manicure knows it takes 30-45 minutes. Quarter did everything he could to be accommodating. She was so out of line that other customers started to ask her to leave. They have done the nails of local celebrates and famous stars, so you know they can't be as bad as she said. I, and my friends and relatives alike have always enjoyed patronizing this establishment. read more

I have no idea what the first person was talking about when they rated this place. You're wasting your time if you go anywhere BUT Glamour Nails!! The staff is so nice to everyone and the environment is very welcoming and upbeat. This is the only place I will go to have my nails done!! I have gel/acrylic nails so they require regular maintenance. I will say that there can be a bit of a wait sometimes due to the fact that A TON of people get their nails done here on evenings/weekends/ etc, however if you call a little beforehand, Quarter will tell you exactly when you can get in without a wait. I love this place so much I travel from East Lansing to Walled Lake every time I need a fill or before I go on a vacation and need my fingers and toes looking good. The prices are also very reasonable in comparison of many other nail salons. I highly recommend you go here at least once to check it out!! read more

Wish I could give less then 1 star. This place was awful. Unfriendly people. They do the manicures rushed when you are sitting in the pedicure chairs. Halfway through they switch people and no reason is given. It is a shame I now need my nails and toes done by a professional which this shop knows nothing about. Run quick and never visit this salon. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Quarter D.

Quarter Dinh came from Saigon, Vietnam as a teenage boy to find his dream. He started his nail salon in Walled Lake, MI in the metro Detroit area. With his friendly personality and huge heart, Quarter attracted repeat customers immediately. He began to sing nail-themed lines to popular music at the salon, serenading the clientele. Quarter continues to give back to the community routinely with his generous spirit. He has provided a new life-path for many, including an American soldier who's still a part of his life today. His customers are happy to sit back in big cushioned spa chairs, while soaking their feet during pedicures. Modern sterilizing equipment is used to ensure quality services. Large monitors for karaoke lyrics hang on the walls, amongst the tastefully decorated salon.

I love this place!!! I have been going there for many years now and I still haven't seen any nail salon as good and clean as this!! The climate there is very happy and calm. Once I came in and there was a party. Quarter sang for them and they seemed to enjoy it a lot! He was very humorous and he always smiled. The workers there are also VERY nice. Aside from all that, the place looks BEAUTIFUL! There are many lights and the pedi chairs look very new. The floor always looks clean and once when I came in late I saw them cleaning everything. The air does not smell like some other nail salons too! They have a wide variety of nail polish and from research all the products are very expensive. Quarter also seems so remember everyone's names. Glamour nails is definitely the place to go if you are looking for awesome service. Their spa setting is wonderful. I first started going to Quarter the owner when I received a gift certificate. He is not only amazing at nails he makes you want to have fun. The fact that he will break into song while doing your nails is such a treat. While getting a pedicure they have massage chairs to relax you if you choose. I highly recommend Quarter and his wonderful staff if you are looking for a new place to try. Glamour Nails is AWESOME!!! I started coming here at the recommendation of my daughter, who was introduced to Quarter and his crew a month earlier. We had both been going to someone else for twenty years!! I have been a loyal customer for a few year and find the customer service to be superior and the manis and pedis incredible. Amazing nail art, TOO! I look forward to my manicure every two weeks, since I prefer the SHELLAC, and my monthly pedicure. Everyone is very attentive and extremely capable. I have loved this place for years for so many reasons. They do a fabulous job on manicures and pedicures, they are all so friendly and make everyone feel welcome. I have also been to several "girls night out" parties and it is always so fun. Quarter is one of my favorite business owners since he is always willing to help out when I do fundraising, whether it be one of my charities, PTA stuff or high school booster clubs. This is the best salon ever! The service is amazing and everyone there is so friendly! It is very very clean place. The designs for the manicures and pedicures are beautiful! Amazing!!! the place is so NICE and CLEAN. Manicurist are so great. They know what they're doing. they so good and even put guarantee on every service that they offer. My mom and I went to Glamour Nails and had a fantastic time. We both went in for pedis, the service was wonderful. We had the owner come up to us a few times to make sure everything was going good. And he was nice as can be. I will defiantly be going back there again to get my nails done!! read more
