I had been a customer of this salon for more than 10 years. While I wasn't a weekly or biweekly client, this was always my go-to place whenever I wanted services. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my opinion. I arrived a few minutes late due to another appointment and immediately acknowledged that when I walked in. I also made it clear that I understood I might have to wait because of my lateness. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner, Cee Cee, chose to embarrass me in front of other customers and staff. The only reason I stayed was because I was using gift certificates, and I had little confidence that I would be refunded if I left. It's important to note that my regular technician has always been kind, accommodating, and professional, as have most of the other staff members. What stood out to me during this visit was the noticeable difference in how customers were treated. Those spending significant amounts on multiple services received plenty of attention, conversation, and respect, while customers receiving more basic services seemed largely ignored. After more than a decade as a customer, I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and respect. Called in to see if i could walk in today to do a fill in. they stated they could so i got there at 130 pm. I walked in said what I was there for and then sat until 220 until they took me back . Everything I showed them they kept saying they couldn't do; then they said they needed to do a new set because my nail wasn't " clear ". and just 100 excuses on why they couldn't paint them : etc. I left there with terrible looking nails , and now i have to find somewhere else to go. Will never go here again. The employees charge extra for nails, coming up with absurd reasons to do so. The man who runs the shop is rude and yells at customers. They have about 15 nail techs, only about 2 of which actually know how to do acrylics well. And, not to mention, THEY GAVE ME NAIL FUNGUS. They recently got a renovation, and with that I thought I'd give them a second chance only to find they still do not sanitize their tools and reuse them on different customers (which I am assuming gave me this nasty fungus). I went to this salon today because I had someone tell me they did amazing work. I made an appointment for 4:30 and specifically asked for someone tang could do designs knowing I wanted one. I didn't get helped until 5pm and it took 2 hours for the man to complete my nails. When I asked him to cut my nails down a bit because I needed them shorter for work he laughed at me. My nails are thick and bumpy. There was dip stuck under my nails and when I asked him to remove it he told me I was fine. I can see the edges of my nails and the layers of dip. The design I asked for was a line down the center of my nail and they are croaked and uneven. When I called to asked for a full refund or half a refund I was told I could come in and get my nails fixed. When I asked if I could come in at open and be helped they told me first coke first serve. Sadly, I've watched this salon go downhill since 2019. I used to come here regularly and the service was great. We moved to the other side of town and I stopped driving so far. Well, yesterday I called around 6:30 asking if they could still do a pedicure and full set. Whoever answered the phone said they could and asked how long it would take me to get there. I said 15 minutes. I actually got there in 8. When I got there, Haley tells me that it was less than two hours before closing so they could only do one. I tried explaining to her that the person who answered the phone told me both could be done. Haley told me it all depended on what time I got there and what I wanted done. Okay, I got over that and settled for just the full set. I asked if she could just remove the polish and acrylic toe from my toes. Her response was "Can the acrylic toe be popped off?" When we got to the acrylic toe removal, she proceeded to use nail tips to remove them, which was extremely painful. Once she finally got them off, I noticed that my natural toenail was ripped off. I got home and attempted to put polish on and my big toes burned so bad. read more

Went here to get my dip changed after over a month. Got my last set Feb. 1st at another place and got them done here on Ma4cg 18th they were extremely grown out but none were broken. They usually last me over a month until they are so grown out I need to get them redone. After getting the dip done here I could tell the guy didn't really know what he was doing considering ive been getting dip for years I know the proper technique but they looked pretty do I was satisfied but when one broke completely off and another chipped within 24 hrs I regretted not speaking up about how he did them as I'm not usually a confrontational person. I went back to get them fixed a day later and at that time he fixed the one broken nail by adding a tip and dipping it 3 times when the original guy only did 2 coats and the guy fixing it said oh yes u should do 3 or 4 coats admitting that the original guy didn't do enough coats but he only fixed the b4oken nail and filed the rest down shorter, no more coats on all other nails but I thought maybe it was a length issue perhaps so I was hopeful this fix would suffice. However it only lasted 2 more days and multiple other nails cracked with one breaking completely off. I went back today 6 day after they were original done and was told that they can only make them shorter and put a top coat and I couldn't get more coats unless I wanted to pay becau se they have a 6 day policy. I explained that was ridiculous because this was my second time back with more broken nails and it wasn't sone well to begin with. They said they broke because they were to long., however I know that's not the case because I've had them done that long plenty of times before that long and they gave lasted a month. I told the manager that and he pretty much told me and my boyfriend we were lying and they hot very angry and told us this is his business and treated us like we were trying to scam him or something whe. I just wanted the nails I paid 65 in total for to last me the month I rightfully expect. He then proceeded to yell and tell my boyfriend to get out repeatedly because he was questioning him as to why he's calling me a liar. All why our 4 and 6 year old daughters are in there with us. The manager said he's been open for 40 year and he doesn't need our business when we said we weren't coming back with this horrific service and back nail quality. I'm absolutely furious with how ridiculous the manager treated us with our children present and didn't care to listen to the whole situation just argued and made us out to be liars. I have reciepts to prove how long my nails should last and have for years so this is complet bullshit. Unprofessional, dishonest, disrespectful, deceptive and discriminatory practices happening here! The Owner is the woman in the picture "CeCe" supposedly. I started going to this salon because the location was beneficial for me not to travel too far. From the very first moment I started coming here, there was a negative energy towards me. Cece was the very first tech I had do my nails; She is talented with working with long nails. Slowly but surely I started scheduling appointments with her and she was refusing my appointments. She would not offer me new products but instead would promote them too "Others". She told me should wouldn't be able to make time for nail fixes for me, even though I'm paying $10 for one nail. I've heard other nail techs having conversations about me with their clients, but never addressed it. She allowed techs to basically refuse service to me because they didn't want to. She uses a clear gel additive to gel polish that are low to cheat people. You don't receive the pigmented color you want but some low budget concoction. Now I'm feeling very uncomfortable but I still insisted on going to see if maybe, I will be treated better. I started scheduling with Haley who is also very talented. Everything was fine for a few weeks until I needed nail fixes. Then I started scheduling morning appointments with her and she changed her schedule to afternoons. At this point I'm well aware that this is a pattern of mistreatment. So finally the final straw was Monday when I was told in front of clients by the "Owner" too "Get The F*#k Out"! This happened after I waited as a walk-in for over an hour, to be told no one would be doing my nails. There's so much more to the story but she is absolutely a terrible person for the treatment I received! Long Nails are not cheap and when you go twice a month plus any fixes, it's enough for a car payment, household bills, etc....... I got dip powder w/ gel and it took an hour at most for her to do my nails start to finish. I went in with a picture of nails and came out with something that looks NOTHING like what i asked for. Not one time was i asked to get up and rinse my hands off during the process which resulted in loose powder from the "sanding" being able to seen under the ONE layer of clear coat though most places tend to do 2. I have had gel nails for 7 years and had just moved to the area from NC. I was so used to the same person doing my nails so I was a bit apprehensive. I did not need to be at all. I found many of the technicians to be very friendly and competent. Loan did my nails; she asked me what I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for. At first I was impressed with Glamour Nails- York, the pedicure prep, massage etc but the moment I sat at the chair for polish the trouble began. The polish table was dirty and I wasn't sure sterile implements were used to cut my cuticles. And cut my cuticles she did...til they bled. The salon is entirely Vietnamese tech's and they talk LOUD to each other in their language, from way across the room. That's just plain rude. So forget about relaxing, that's not going to happen. The polish job was the worse I've ever had and when I complained she applied enough more coats to take HOURS to dry. They dried with air bubbles in them and polish on my bleeding cuticles was the straw that broke the camels back. Yes...they are reasonably priced. But you get what you pay for here. Don't risk it...it's not worth the headache and frustration. If I get a fungus at least I'll know where I got it from. Grrrrrrrrr..... read more
