This treatment was a bit intense since I have sensitive skin and I haven't had a facial in a long time. Before we started my services, Roxie analyzed my skin. She noticed a had clogged/ congested pores and acne scarring. She recommended products that will help with my scarring and also additional treatments to improve my skin. The products are a big pricey however, I took her recommendations seriously since she was able to closely analyze my skin. I will be booking future treatments. My first time, Candis did an excellent job with my lash extensions! It took a bit over the recommended time (closer to 2.5 hours instead of 1.5) and my eyes were a bit irritated the next day, but nothing a few drops of Visine couldn't fix. I loved the final product and they lasted close to 3.5 weeks! I was also happy that she answered all of my questions and even gave me 4 lash brushes because I told her I was traveling and she didn't want me to lose them. The second time, I had Roxie do my lashes. I was a bit nervous to have someone different doing them, but my girl SLAYED it! It took less than an hour and a half, my eyes weren't irritated at all, and they look BOMB. I cannot tell you how many compliments I've gotten on my lashes. Also, the studio is extremely clean, both Candis and Roxie play great music while they work, and they are so nice and easy to talk to. One recommendation, save their phone numbers because each time I've come to the studio the door has been locked. Just give a quick call and they'll come let you in! I always get major compliments on my nails after getting them done. I really love that everyone is masked and the place is never packed, making it easy to not be close to anyone while waiting. Because the pedicure is done in a regular chair, you don't get the comfort that a typical pedicure chair provides including the massage feature. The basic polish came out well. Beverages are offered during the service. Mani: I was nearly 40 weeks pregnant so I decided to add a manicure too. After some discussion with the tech, I selected gel with the hope that it would last a bit longer. Unfortunately, it chipped significantly within a day and by day 2, 4 fingers were completely chipped. I emailed the following day to ask to come for nail repair and they obliged. However, I was unable to go on the agreed upon day bc I went into labor. I had not washed dishes or handled chemicals with my nails so I can only assume that the issue was with the product, technique or both. Bottom Line: I would consider going back for a basic pedicure occasionally. I would NOT go back for a manicure though. Its not worth $40 especially with the severe chipping. My mom also got a pedi. We were there from 12-3:30pm for 2 pedicures and 1 gel manicure. Her pedicure came out good too. There is one technician and thus, the salon is not crowded with others. Gratuity is typically 20% so by the time I got a simple haircut it cost me $36. Gratuity must be paid in cash or Venmo. You may use credit cards for the actual service. After further review of my haircut, I noticed that I had a "shelf" where it should've been tapered smoothly. I was able to fix it myself at home. I have been to a smaller barber shop in the area that cost with gratuity only $20. I will likely go back to that barber shop.
